Any bfps yet???

I'm still having very light spotting....so frustrating not knowing if af or implantation :/

Mrsmummytobe any symptoms???

ImaginaryHat · 01/09/2013 14:58

Wow, been awol for a couple of days and there's so much to catch up on! Only managed to read back a couple of pages but just wanted to check in and say hi.

Sorry af got you Disney, she's still with me too trying to ruin my weekend but Im trying not to let her! Glad you've still got a shot on the September bus though.

Writer, the thought of going off tea actually scares me! After dh it's probably my favourite thing in the world! Can't imagine being able to function properly without my morning brew!

misty that is good news for you, looks like a much shorter cycle this time. 5.5 lbs is still really good even if you have got a lot to lose, well done! I'm not weighing myself as im a bit of a comfort eater when things dont go well, but i get a good idea from how my clothes feel. Have done pretty well this weekend. Tuesday will have to be my treat day as its Petit fours week on the great british bake off, and me and the girls always bake for it and get together to watch it so there will be a lot of sugary treats around!

mrsmummytobe · 01/09/2013 14:56

Ooh some exciting chat going on - just caught up! Sounds like we could be in for some bfps very soon!! :)

Nothing much to report from me, except my boobs are still feeling a bit sore - could be pmt though... will wait & see! Still another week until af is due Hmm

Mistyautumn · 01/09/2013 14:01

Whoop, finally got a flashing smiley opk on day 20. This is brill as had a 65 day cycle last time. Poor DH gout well and truly pounced oh (unfortunately it was 5.20 am ). Bring on the fixed smiley!

And joining in the weight loss chat.....I am doing slimming world too. Lost 1st 5.5lbs in 6 weeks (not as impressive as it sounds s am a big girl and have a lot to lose). Very impressed by their support of pregnant ladies too xx

blamber · 01/09/2013 13:51

Choccy, they don't seem like very good friends!

mama31 · 01/09/2013 13:30

Hmmm....spoke too soon....had the tiniest bit of spotting there...still pos implantation???

My feeling is that its an extremely early, untimely af!!!!!! Boooooooo!!!! Last af 12/8...this is so annoying!!!

ChubbyKitty · 01/09/2013 13:07

I have some cramping this morning.

I feel like that cat..'nononononononono!'

Writerwannabe83 · 01/09/2013 13:00

I meant to say some eggs implant after only 6 days from conception Grin

However, I'm the last person you should listen to unless you want to turn into a crazy, obsessed POAS-er.

Writerwannabe83 · 01/09/2013 12:58

Well, some eggs implant only 6 days conception so technically you could have 3 or 4 days of pregnancy hormone swirling about your system.... Grin

mama31 · 01/09/2013 12:57

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great wkend! Sorry about af disney! That's such a shame but glad your still trying for a sept bfp!!! :)

Well I haven't had any further bleed since that one time yesterday so feeling positive about that but just wondering when to test now....getting itch to do it but know its way too early at 9/10dpo!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/09/2013 12:37

Awww bloumer, totally totally understand!
We've got some friends that little copy EVERYTHING we do. When we started ttc last time, they were the only ones we told just to see if they would copy. Well blow me, ours kids were born exactly a week apart! I spent most of my due date shouting at my bump for ds to come out as I wanted to be first, i was Grin
We were due within 4 days of each other, me first. I didn't get a sweep on my due date due to the hospital being full at the time, i was totally gutted, but I went into labour the following day Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 01/09/2013 12:17

I used to love Tea but I haven't been able to even look at a cup of it for about a month now. Jut the thought of it makes my stomach turn Grin

This happened when I was 6 weeks and it literally happened overnight!
My husband loves it because it means he doesn't have to make me cups of tea anymore lazy sod Grin

keepswimming1 · 01/09/2013 12:14

Ok thanks guys - I thought I was being nuts :)

So I have just been to the shops and I walked pass someone who smelt horrible (wearing perfume), almost made me want to be sick....symptom maybe? also at my parents this morning couldn't even face a cup of tea my mum made, might be due to skimmed milk (never had it before normally use that 1% stuff) but same thing again almost sick!!!
God I hope its not all in my head...

Kemie · 01/09/2013 11:58

So been having on and off cramping for a few days (actually lost count) but seem to always need a wee-including if I've just gone! But if I go not a lot comes out, but I just have a full bladder feeling constantly-was up twice in the night to pee which never happens! I've also had real trouble sleeping past week or so, and last night I was awake from about 2-4am!
Not testing til wednesday which is when af due, also on hols and oh isn't joining me till tuesday so have to wait for him! I had a (six hour) drive down yesterday, and by the end of it I was going mad with the seatbelt irritating my boobs! Today they don't seem to be as sore as they have been all week though, and not sure what to make of that!

Hugs blouer. Here's hoping its def imp bleeding too Smile I have some cramps starting up now Hmm not as bad as normal granted but still af like, boo.

CoffeeGuzzler · 01/09/2013 11:41

Thanks for the info writer. Learning so much on here.

Writerwannabe83 · 01/09/2013 11:00

Oh Disney - I can't believe AF came! What a total bit*h Hmm I hope you are feeling ok though x

Coffee As has been said, the OPK sticks can't differentiate between the ovulation hormone and the pregnancy hormone, so if either of those hormones are at high levels the OPK will read positive. I got a really strong positive on an OPK stick on the day my period was due which left me very confused. It was only after the wise MN's explained how the OPK sticks work that I ran to the shop for some HPT's and got 4BFP's. Smile

wispaxmas · 01/09/2013 10:57

I just realised my last message for aimed at keep swimming, not borrower, sorry!

I want to hear from all the 1 sep bfps!! Come on good news, lets get these bfps rolling!

leezl · 01/09/2013 10:48

Bloumermaid I can really relate to what you said about your sister. I don't want to go into detail but just wanted you to know you're not alone feeling that way!!

chattychattyboomba · 01/09/2013 10:45

Bloumer- totally normal to feel that way. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, your time will come (and I secretly hope it's before your sis too Wink)

On another note, found out my cousin is finally pregnant after years of trying, first round of ivf did the trick. She had to endure watching her younger sis get preg and give birth (first grandchild too)... Then brother and new wife announced they were trying... she was feeling very low. She said to my aunt it seems everything 'falls' into other cousins lap, And she has to fight for it all... I can totally empathise, but I can honestly say I admire my cousin sooo much for her graciousness, positivity and humility. I couldn't be happier for them.

blamber · 01/09/2013 10:42

Keep swimming, the lh hormone mimics the hcg hormone, that's why some people get a positive ov test when they're pregnant. However, it's not very reliable, you can get false negatives and false positives. Just get some pregnancy tests, maybe some of those cheap ones online.

Bloumer, yes it's been up and down for me ever since I stopped the pill. It all depends on what my body is doing. Going from: 'oh i'll never ovulate, there's something wrong with me, I shouldn't have left it so long', to: 'yeeeaaaah finally got show/ov pains/temp rise Smile.

It's difficult wit family though, I just found out two of my family members are pregnant and it's difficult, especially because my mum is all excited.

CoffeeGuzzler · 01/09/2013 10:27

Bloumer, don't beat yourself up about how you feel. It's hard on everyone to see other people casually get what they desperately want. I am sure you are happy for your sister. You are also just a tint bit glum for yourself. And that's ok.

Bloumermaid · 01/09/2013 10:19

Purple your spotting sounds more promising than mine, I've gone from being excited to sceptical again and trying not to get my hopes up. Had more this morning that seemed more like AF but still very very light. Who knows! Since coming off the pill I seem to be in a repeating pattern of symptom, excitement, bfn, disappointment. Anyone recognise this?!

Also my younger sister told me yesterday that they've started casually trying and I feel really conflicted about it - partly excited that we might be pg at the same time and partly an irrational desire to get pg first. It will be just my luck, I'm going at this by the book and they're 'just seeing what happens' (she got trollied at the wedding yesterday while I was on the schloer). I want to be happy for her so why do I feel like this is some sort of competition?

Btw they dtd more than anyone I've ever met so if there's a window they'll hit it.

CoffeeGuzzler · 01/09/2013 10:17

Sorry to hear that af has hunted you down Disney. You still have a chance in September though.

What about all the people listed to hopefully bfp on 1st. (Finally September eh?) Suz, Bushprincess, Jellybean....please test! Grin

Does everyone get pg symptoms? I remember my sis-in-law saying something like..'oh my fishy god...i am pregnant...had no idea!'.

keepswimming...opks test for LH isn't that right? Don't think they are equipped for hcg. They can probably make do for contraception...but pg text...I don't think so.

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/09/2013 10:08

Ugh. Dreamt i had an actual baby. AF is a wierd one - rather heavy and painful friday and half of saturday then nothing since about 3pm yesterday.

Sorry to hear of the bfn's. Fingers crossed for you early testers. 24th sept seems a loooong way off for me!
