Vj I came off the pill on 22/7, had my 1st af on 12/8 and now have had brown spotting for 3 days and feel like af coming again! Not sure if short luteal phase is gona be a recurring problem or if my cycles just up the left after coming off the pill! All the same its really doing my head in! What about u??

Spireal Welcome and I agree with all the ladies talking about the importance of luteal phase. I also know of women who get it before their period!

spirael i had it cd7,8,10, 14 and 17 then a white coloured ewcm on cd18 and 21 I don't really understand it all!!

I know what you mean Disney. A few months ago me and the dh went to a hip club for a friend's 'leaving for Oz' do. Hundreds of bodies gyrating...loud loud music..the noise..the sweat..the waiting at the bar for 20 minutes get a flipping drink. I just wanted to please go somewhere where I can sit down and order something not in a plastic glass. Shameful! I'm only 30! Whatever happened?!

Yep. Hence why I was gutted last month to have a luteal phase of only seven days :(

Not at all Spireal what matters is the length of time after you ovulate (10 days + before your period)

Spirael Some women get more than one batch of ewcm in a cycle but if you are ovulating it's quite early but not unheard of. You may not actually ovulated for another two or three days anyway.

Hmm... I'm a bit confused now. I seem to be having some EWC, but I'm only on day 10 of my cycle! Surely that's too early?

I remember those days... I was out last night and didn't drink at all because I knew it would be hard enough to get up for work with sleep deprivation never mind a hang over as well (I also copped out early and went home at 12)

I went to Uni of Edinburgh and had a particularly drunken weekend in Aberdeen once. Back in the days when I didn't get any hangover or bad photos.

choccy re your opk query - you can use them every day if you want to so you could start today/tomorrow and then find out when your fertile period is according to them :)

Ahhhhh, sorry I've not been on. Made it to America, whoop! Having a great time BUT still no period! Was due on the 30th August. Could it be the flight? I've not tested because I have t had chance plus I'm moody and cramping so just keep waiting for af...

I'm glad to hear you are all having amazing weather (give or take) its bloody roasting here but the odd storm dissipates the heat some what.

Hi all, any chance I can add to the mayhem and join you all? :) I'm a bit out of practice, I've not been in this area of MN for around 4 years now!

Been working on trying to conceive DC2. DD1 took several months and a chemical pregnancy, so I'm not expecting anything too quick! I'll be testing around the 19th. (International Talk Like a Pirate Day - yarr!)

I'm not quite as far North as Fox, but it's pretty cold here! Did not want to crawl out of bed this morning, brr...
