Aww thanks so much lucyfluff, englishteacher & choccy!! Grin yes choccy, I woke him up at 5.30 as soon as I'd done the tests!! He was really excited & we stayed up for ages talking about the due date, when we will tell people, etc!! Grin

onelifeonechance · 03/09/2013 07:06

Hurray mrsmtobe Grin Lovely, lovely news to wake up to, huge congrats! Remind me what you did on the dtd front this month??

Choccywoccydodah · 03/09/2013 06:59

What lovely news to wake up to. Massive congratulations mrsmummy!! Fantastic news!! Have you told your dh/DP??
Hopefully the first of many this week!!

Well, last night I had the beginnings of ewcm GrinGrin this morning, it's a bit more, but not too thick yet, but definitely there. I've had a feel and my cervix has risen dramatically higher than it was but I can still feel it. Eek, I think I may ovulate soon. I didn't get any of this on my first proper cycle last time GrinGrinGrin

englishteacher78 · 03/09/2013 06:54

Congratulations!

lucyfluff · 03/09/2013 06:45

Awwwww mummy HUGE congrats to you :))) i knew my finger crossing would work. Lovely news to wake up to this morning xx

mrsmummytobe · 03/09/2013 06:32

Thanks jaykay!!!! Grin I am feeling ridiculously excited! Not sure how many dpo I am - possibly about 12 I think Hmm I have been having symptoms but had previously put them down to other things - boobs have been aching for days now & I've had a heavy achy sort of feeling not really unlike period ache. Now feeling a bit sick but that could be excitement!!

jaykay987 · 03/09/2013 06:26

Cd23! My mistake.

Mummy - how many dpo are you? Any symptoms ?

jaykay987 · 03/09/2013 06:14

Congratulations! Exciting start to the day!

(I on the other hand seem to be on cd22 and still haven't ovulated Angry)

mrsmummytobe · 03/09/2013 05:37

Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock
Omg so I woke up about 5 this morning unable to sleep & really needing the loo, so I weed into a cup (sorry tmi) & did a cheapie hpt. Well after a minute or two that came up BFP so I got out a superdrug one & that had a really clear BFP line!!!!!!!!!
WOOHOO looks like I'm pregnant!!!!!!! Grin Grin
I am definitely in total shock.& don't think I'm going to be able to get back to sleep now!!! Aahhhhh! Grin

leezl · 03/09/2013 00:18

LOL! Vicky my August-born little sister was the only member of our family to go to University, and is training to be a teacher. Definitely doesn't hold children back being the babies of their year!

panicmechanic · 03/09/2013 00:06

Ok I realise this is going to sound odd... And prob too much info but... i have been using boots opk and cb opk this month (i know but dont trust any kit now!) and started dtd early as per SMEP. Still had pink lines yesterday and now no longer. Should I still continue the SMEP? DH is working so would have to be late tonight/early tomorrow. Why do I always feel I haven't tried enough - goodness I sound needy :)

VickyVix · 02/09/2013 23:32

How romantic onelife, you never know it might just happen! I would so love a May baby, which would also tie up with our wedding anniversary.

Shame my DH doesn't think quite so romantically about these things - i almost spat my tea out the other week when he said he thought we should try not to have a baby in August in case it didn't do so well at school - as if the stalk is going to deliver it or something!!

What twaddle, Such simple minds

mama31 · 02/09/2013 22:55

Haha! Thanks funkymonk I will give it a try! Think ill stock up on b6 from tomorrow! Great to hear all the wonderful knowledge as I'm pretty clueless about the tecnical parts.....I'm ok at dtd tho ;) lol

funkymonk · 02/09/2013 22:49

Oops! Toe of frog, not frogs legs!

funkymonk · 02/09/2013 22:48

*And infact can be, not is infact.

funkymonk · 02/09/2013 22:47

B6 is safe to continue into pregnancy and is infact can be used by women to help with morning sickness.
Tastes nicer than frogs legs!

funkymonk · 02/09/2013 22:44

Wow, this is a busy bus! Too much to keep up with! Gilly really sorry to hear that you think you had a cp. I'm a previous regular on the buses but left in july and now have another name. I pop in now and again and just wanted to say re:b6... I've done loads of reading on this and am taking 50mg myself. From extensive research this is what I think is best:
Start off with 50mg initially and don't take as b6 alone. Take as b complex (with other b vitamins) as this aids the bodies absorption.
Take for entire cycle. This is required to help regulate hormones and to help ensure quality corpus luteum is produced. Some women take for entire cycle but increase dose after ovulation.
Taking for whole cycle can delay ovulation. In my case it caused me to ovulate just one day later than normal. I already ovulate late at day 17 but can cope with a little later if I think the b6 is helping me to pop out a nicer egg that might be more sustainable!!

mama31 · 02/09/2013 22:37

Thanks bloumer!!! Lol think ill stick to the b6 and opks for this month! But who knows by nxt month ill prob be like "where do you get those eyes of newts/toes of frogs?" Lol

Onelife I know....I would stick to the prayers if I was you ;)

Bloumermaid · 02/09/2013 22:28

While we're talking supplements, I did some research into this when I had no AF post-pill and heard of agnus castus and dong quai. Apparently they regulate the cycle but you shouldn't take them post-ovulation as they can affect the developing bean if you've conceived. Also someone recommended black cohosh and red clover.

And eye of newt, and toe of frog...lol

onelifeonechance · 02/09/2013 22:28

I know, i've been going all swoony about it, if god or fate or lady luck or whoever it is that makes these decisions has an ounce of romance in them then they'd make our dreams come true Grin

mama31 · 02/09/2013 22:18

Onelife how romantic that would be! I hope it happens for you! If I conceived at the end of this month I would be due to give birth around the time of my wedding anniversary!!! Oh wouldn't it be lovely if we could just order everything to happen perfectly lol

onelifeonechance · 02/09/2013 22:16

OMG i've just learnt something - i always thought the words to that song was genuinely "feed the world" and i've just googled it and it's actually "heal the world" - this has been nothing if not educational for me

onelifeonechance · 02/09/2013 22:13

Yeay, love Great BBO!! Smile Altogether now: Feed the world, make it a better place ....
