I think I'm due AF between 28th/30th not overly sure. I thought I would poas Friday morning. I haven't had any definite AF symptoms yet, but still have the same symptoms I had mid/end of last week. We NEED some more BFP's to round this month of nicely. I have a couple of Superdrug HPT's in the cupboard but I'm not going to cave in before Friday. Smile

Damn phone.....but its a cheapo supermarket one, says most accurate on day af is due but can be used up to 4 days before.......

I'm here. Please don't go to the depo as I'm still on bus. [Waves arms madly] not sure I've even OV (on cd33) yet as no temperature rise this month. Not sure when an AF would arrive if I never OV? Don't even have an "average" cycle length to use. Stupid frustrating body. For me it seems the longer if been off the pill the more erratic my body is being.

I'm still here......! Thought af might get me today, not due til friday but had a pinky 'wipe' this morning and achey hips. However, so far its a no show so who knows? I have test upstairs but

Cheesy Yeaterday was cd25 and according to opks and ewcm, I ov on cd19. So, my luteal phase was only 7 days :(

Really sorry AF got you VJ and Gilly.

VJ I waited to get my first AF after stopping the pill before we started ttc, it came on CD 34. How many days are you as you may have ov'd before you thought maybe. Also, it didn't stick, but i did then get a bfp the next cycle so here's hoping Sept is your month!

I've got 4 more days before i test, but not very hopeful. Wondering if i will make the Sept bus, might have to wait for an Oct one to come along ...

vjones at least af has arrived as this is your first month off the pill, hopefully next month it will happen for you

I think af is on its way for me, had some brown discharge (sorry tmi) last couple of days, but nothing else. Hope it arrives properly as this is my first month off the pill, im on cd29 now Hmm

Sorry VJONES! It can just take a few months for cycles to return to normalafter coming off the pill apparently. It's a very reassuring book, nothing alarming in it!

Sorry to hear about AF gilly. I just wanted to pass on a book recommendation I saw elsewhere on this site - Expecting Better by Emily Oster. It debunks a lot of pregnancy myths by looking at the actual evidence behind the advice eg wrt caffeine/alcohol etc. I've just finished the Conception chapter and itgives interesting info re detecting ovulation, the effect if the pill on cycles, the number of fertilisations that don't actually result in pregnancy (up to 50% apparently!) and I thought people on this thread might be interested in it.

I think I'm much more likely to get a bfp over the winter months when it's crisp and cold and DH and I have nothing better to do than have sex! Grin
It's been too hot over the last 2 months to put any effort into it!

Sorry gilly Flowers how unfair to be teased by lines. Hopefully that was just a warm up for you getting your bfp in Sept, come along to the warm and slightly crisp Autumn air of the Sept bus once you've nursed a few screaming orgasms x

I remember my first 'real period' after having my Mirena removed - it was like a blood bath so I empathise VJ

Gilly - how confusing!! But, you are doing the right thing in being positive about your cycle starting to regulate, that will definitely make TTC easier!! Enjoy the hen night and hopefully next month will be your time x

Thanks writer. Hopefully I am actually ovulating and it won't take long for it to happen for me. Feeling pants now though! Headache and nausea! And I forgot what a real period is like - will have to buy night time sanitary towels for the first time in years!

She's caught up with me this morning too... Woke up with achy hips and cramps... Pinky red blood when I wiped Hmm

Very strange after definitely seeing faint lines on my tests a few days ago so that's a shame.....but nothing I can do.

I am feeling pleased in a way as this was the first cycle since coming off the pill last December where AF has come bang on time Smile

Ok, I still had a 35 day cycle so still a bit longer than I would like but fertility friend said 27th August and AF has arrived today on 27th.
So hopefully this means my cycles are starting to become more regular Smile

Gonna carry on using digi OPKs this cycle as they work for me and i still don't trust my cycles enough to know when I'll be ovulating.

Best friends hen weekend this weekend so I'm gonna let my hair done and have LOTS of cocktails! Grin

Also got a hair appointment after work today at 5.30 so that'll make me happy!

Good luck to the rest of you... I'm sure I'll see some of you on the September bus too... Which is where I'm going now! Grin X
