Sorry to the the bfn's and those AF got.

Army glad your apt went well - hope they can get things moving in the right direction for you.

I'm starting to feel like the witch is on her way. 10dpo today and had a big temperature drop this morning. If I was being uber optimistic I guess it could be an implantation dip, but tbh I really don't think so.

gillywillywoo · 28/08/2013 18:25

Onwards and upwards army... Keep us informed Smile x

Glad your appointment went well army, hopefully you will get some answers and know what the next step should be.

Sorry af got you pink hat and daisy, will see you on the September bus shortly! Kind of good that the doc is happy with your result daisy but as you say only if he knows what he's talking about! At least the result wad in the 'normal' range so that's encouraging.

ArmyLovin · 28/08/2013 17:37

Evening all! For those who know, my appointment went well. I've had some more bloods done and I still have a few more to do. Dp has to have a specimen tested also. We looked in detail at my ovaries and discussed possible fertility treatment. Nothing will happen anytime soon and bloods are going to take 3-4 weeks so my next cycle could be the last natural chance to get pregnant. My doc took a blood pg test but I'm not sure when I'd get them results.

Daisychain44 · 28/08/2013 16:51

Hi all - re progesterone leveles - doc says 24 is just fine - was quite blase about it (I strongly suspect he doesn't have a clue but peice of paper in his hand says normal range is 10 to 80 and 24 falls within that - oh well - will have to accept that!)

in other news - AF arrived (bu88er, b0ll0x, ar$e etc.) so am being ejected from this bus :-( will keep an eye out for any more BFP's from you all though - still a few last days to go! good luck!

PinkHat1 · 28/08/2013 16:51

Sadly the old witch arrived yesterday so I'm off this bus..BUT huge congrats to all the BFP!!

Sparrowlegs248 · 28/08/2013 14:30

I joined by accident before i realised that my cycles were going to be stupidly short!

lilyfluff2288 · 28/08/2013 13:26

Afternoon ladies, sorry to those who have AF and BFN's today but there is still a few days left this month for some more BFP's and those BNF's to turn positive.
Friday morning still seems sooo far away to poas, no AF as yet though. Fingers and toes crossed she doesn't arrive.

ImaginaryHat · 28/08/2013 12:23

Lol at you joining the bus by accident Notta! I was skipping between the 2 buses with being due right at the end of the month but they were both moving so fast I couldn't keep up with both! Sorry af looks like she's gonna get you, she really is a witch.

m33r · 28/08/2013 12:18

I thought PG levels over 20 was no problem but when they give you an upper level if 80, you do wonder. I got bloods last week and was just told I was fine: think I'll call up and ask for the number.

Daisy, I know what you mean about the markers!! I've had everything from baby would due around mil's birthday; could announce pregnancy on mym's birthday if it was then; before I'm 30; for my 30th; For girlie reunion weekend... Just thought I'd reassure you I do that ALL time too - keeps me sane! Onwards and upwards! :-)

Sparrowlegs248 · 28/08/2013 12:01

Morning/afternoon all. I have a bit of spotting today and achey hips again. Feel that Af will be here in full flo tomorrow. Which will make for a 24 day cycle ffs!! Obviously making up for all of the af free years on the depo. Sorry to all those who got AF or BFN today. I think i will be rejoining the sept bus at this rate (i also joined it by accident!)

ImaginaryHat · 28/08/2013 10:53

Sorry daisy I don't know anything about progesterone tests, although I'm sure someone here will be able to help. Let us know what the doc says x

ImaginaryHat · 28/08/2013 10:50

Morning ladies. Sorry to those who got bfn today, I did too. Tbh wouldnt have even tested as I'm so sure af is coming but I was having an x ray at a check up (unrelated) this morning so just wanted to check before that. Sorry af got you m33r, think I'll be joining you on the September bus sooner rather than later. Onwards and upwards!

Daisychain44 · 28/08/2013 09:46

Thanks Bloumermaid and M33r - sorry you got BFN / AF too - I will prepare to trudge aboard the Sept bus - the only positive to the Sept bus is that if AF can hang on for a day or two longer then I'll be on holiday during the 'right' time so fx!
Madasabox - thank you, I know you're right - it's just you hang on to signs / markers all the way along don't you - i.e. it's OK it'll happen by x date, by x time round, by Autumn, by the time I've finished this project at work etc.. etc.. and I keep sailing past all my markers with nothing to show!

On another note - I got blood tests back from the Doc today - progesterone levels were 24 (meant to be between 10 and 80 in the luteal phase apparently) - tests were done on day cd28 as it's meant to be 7 days after OV and that was on cd21 for me. wonder if they could do with being a little higher? Doc calling me back later - anyone know? / been given any advice?

impatientlywaiting · 28/08/2013 09:01

Sorry to hear that M33r

m33r · 28/08/2013 08:12

Morning all and sorry bloumermaid and daisy and anyone else Who got BFN. I had AF arrive today on CD 40! So it should be off to the October bus for me but will keep an eye on you guys on September bus (which I wrongly joined a while ago anyway).

Fx for next month!

Madasabox · 28/08/2013 08:00

Daisychain, I think there is no rhyme or reason to pregnancy tbh. I conceived DD first time, then spent a year trying for DS. This time we weren't trying at all and only DTD once in the whole month, which is why I am so shocked, so I think that it can vary massively and there is no normal for a person

Madasabox · 28/08/2013 07:56

Sorry - posted then went away for two days as our internet, phone and TV were all down! No symptoms at all, which worries me no end. Feel vaguely sick, but don't know if that's all in my head iyswim! I did have really sore boobs for about 3/4 days in the run up to my normal AF date, but those have gone now. Don't feel like I am really "preggers plus" as DH calls it tbh and desperate to see the midwife and have it feel real. I hate this phase as it is all just waiting and worrying!

Bloumermaid · 28/08/2013 07:35

Daisychain sorry to hear you got bfn this morning too. Flowers
Let's prepare to board the Sept bus together and fx!

Don't be too downhearted, from what I hear each pregnancy varies so much (including conception). It's natural to look to your own experiences to see what's 'normal' for you but I don't think there's any such thing in this ttc game. You'll get there!xx

Bloumermaid · 28/08/2013 07:30

Morning all. I'm still on this bus too, although BFN for me this morning Sad

Nottalotta, it's helpful to hear about your experience coming off the pill as I'm now 5 months without AF.

Think I may have ovulated last week which puts me on the Sept bus but I'll wait until the end of the line before I change.

VJones sorry AF got you, but do take heart that it means your body is adjusting pretty quickly after coming off the pill - hopefully Sept will be your month!

Daisychain44 · 28/08/2013 07:25

BFN here this morning. So disappointed, thought this month things were going to turn around - I conceived DS on 4th cycle and this was 4th cycle after 2 wtf cycles after mc. Sad
Still a glimmer of hope till AF arrives but not feeling as likely anymore - will mentally prepare for Sept bus.

Writerwannabe83 · 27/08/2013 22:12

OPK only indicates pregnancy if the line is as dark as, or darker than the control line.

impatientlywaiting · 27/08/2013 22:03

I've never used OPKs but from what I've read on here if you get a strong line on an OPK - as in similar colour to the control line then it's a really good indication that you might be pregnant.

MrsB2013 · 27/08/2013 21:55

LoveWine Congratulations!! Flowers
