M33r when are you going to POAS next? I got BFN day before AF due then BFP the day it was due.

Writerwannabe83 · 25/08/2013 11:34

Fox - I think there should be a new rule...

"Passengers must not in any way cause mental and psychological distress to their fellow passengers by not taking pregnancy tests when ordered to do so. Any passenger who is found to be leaving their fellow passengers 'hanging on' will be punished severely."

m33r · 25/08/2013 11:30

Bloumermaid, thanks so much reassurance; really lifted my VeRy low spirits. I wouldn't lose hope this month if I were you; if you are right and ov-d last Thursday, it's more than likely you'll have a wee while before it would show on a test. That's what I'm telling myself - AF due today but tested yesterday (and day before) both BFN. Still no AF so that together with your encouragement has got me hanging in there again.

Symptoms you have sound encouraging but always hard to tell apart from AF symptoms. My hormones went MAD last week which could me a symptom BUT I'm thinking is more likely as a result of me stressing about 2ww... Time will tell!

FoxMulder · 25/08/2013 11:26

Bloody hell gilly you're keeping us hanging Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 25/08/2013 11:17

Perhaps just a little, haha Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 25/08/2013 11:09

Aberdeen is a little out of your way then isn't it? Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 25/08/2013 11:07

Are you anywhere near Leicestershire Disney ? Grin

I have a tank full of petrol and I'm raring to go!! There is an ASDA right next to my house so I can quickly nip on my way to pick you up Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 25/08/2013 11:00

Congrats pixie! Can't wait for gilly to do her digi now. And whoever is driving over to Gillys to force her to POAS I'll join you!

Nulanoo · 25/08/2013 10:28

Yeah we might do in a few months if it doesn't happen before Christmas maybe x

VJONES1985 · 25/08/2013 10:21

nulanoo have you thought about using opks too?

Had ewcm, some back pain and a pain on my right side. My boyfriend knows more about this stuff than I do (haha!)so he was convinced I was!

VJONES1985 · 25/08/2013 10:07

Nulanoo which ov signs did you have? It is possible to ov early in a cycle but not common.

VJONES1985 · 25/08/2013 10:05

Had a great what with my beat friend last night who has pcos but fell pg and now has a 5 month old son. She really calmed me down by telling me to just dtd as much as possible and enjoy it, think about how wonderful it will be to have a baby but don't focus that energy on research/stress/symptom spotting because all that does is hinder the process and lead to even more disappointment. Here's to a fresh new me (I hope).

Nulanoo · 25/08/2013 10:02

Well it's really cycle 1 as we stopped the pill July 20th had a bleed the week after then another 2 weeks after that which I'm assuming was proper AF? Based on what I've been reading I ovulated last weekend but that would have been pretty much straight after AF. Who knows its all very confusing! I also had a really sharp low pain on Friday below belly button that literally stopped me in my tracks x

Writerwannabe83 · 25/08/2013 09:49

Oh Gilly - if I knew where you lived I would buy a CB Digi, drive to where you live, drag you into the bathroom and force you to pee!!!

How can you be so restrained, lol. Nobody can have as any faint lines as you've had yet not be pregnant?? I forked out on my Digi after I'd had lots of faint lines because I just had to know for sure!!

impatientlywaiting · 25/08/2013 09:47

Glad that you have people staying Gilly as at least it will keep you busy and hopefully distracted.

Nulanoo, join the club. We are all notorious symptom spotters here. How many cycles have you been trying? Are these normal AF symptoms for you? I think the general consensus is that lots of AF symptoms are similar to pregnancy ones but if they aren't usual for you then it could be good news.

Nulanoo · 25/08/2013 09:26

Morning :) am I just symptom spotting or could it be?!? I'm about 8 dpo or maybe less! I'm a newbie sorry to be so neurotic! I've got some abdominal pains/veiny boobs/slight nausea xxx

gillywillywoo · 25/08/2013 09:07

Impatiently... I'll do a digi if AF hasn't turned up by Tuesday.. But I don't want to do one yet cos I don't want to spend the money when im sure it will say not pregnant!

Anyway... Got family staying til tomorrow so not really much opportunity to go out and buy a digi test!

I'll just hang on. But I really think I can feel AF coming. I'm very irritable right now and feeling some cramps! COULD be symptom but I doubt it!

Amazing news Pixiebumbles! Big congratulations. Grin

m33r that's such a pain about your cycle extending by one day each month! It must make it even more frustrating for you. Flowers It's good that you've been to the doc, hope something will come of it.

You asked about me - I'm in a really weird situation in that I haven't had AF since coming off the pill in April, had a month of headaches then nada for 3 months. We'd been waiting to ttc until after my first AF but as it never came we started, and about a week later I started feeling really sick, bloated an a ton of other symptoms. Of course I thought it was pg symptoms but a month on I know it was just my body adjusting post-pill.

I started using opks and had a strong line last Thurs, been dtd lots since then and have had sore, swollen boobs for the past 3 days. Don't know if this is an OV sign or AF/pg, have stopped trying to guess! Last POAS was yesterday and bfn.

So who knows what's going on! I guess I can relate to your frustration over crazy cycles. Confused But you are not alone - there are so many lovely ladies on MN so do post when you're feeling blue for lots of virtual hugs and cake.

wispaxmas · 25/08/2013 08:57

Pops=poas, stupid iPad.

wispaxmas · 25/08/2013 08:57

I don't know why I even bothered pops this morning, it was another bfn, and I keep telling myself this month wasn't our month, but I think until AF arrives there's still going to be that smidgen of hope that I might actually yet have a baby before I turn 30 next JuneSad

But definitely a huge congrats to pixie, August has been a huge month by the looks of things!!

impatientlywaiting · 25/08/2013 08:38

And YES Pixie, over the moon for you. Xx

impatientlywaiting · 25/08/2013 08:38

Woohoo to all the BFPs this has been such a lucky bus. Beautifulboy1 it might be worthwhile saving your digital until first thing tomorrow or at least making sure if you do it this afternoon that you haven't been to the loo for 3 hours, to make sure it's concentrated enough.

Gilly I know this must be driving you mad, and I really hope all of us on this thread are helping you rather than driving you even more crazy, but I definitely think a digital is the way to go. You definitely can't be getting this number of evap lines, I've heard lots of people say their lines never really got darker - but the fact that they are there meant pregnancy.

I saw the lightest of light lines on Thur - lighter than yours as you couldn't see it on photos I took. Retested each day, digital confirmation yesterday, and today's line is still really really light. But I'm not worried as I got the digi yesterday. Please please please do a digi. Xx
