Think you're supposed to tell your gp as soon as you know you're pg,aren't you? And then they can arrange it for you..?

Hey ladies after my BFP this morning I was just wondering if there is a antenatal thread for for may next year? And also when do I need to ring the doctors for aid wife appointment? I guess they would class me as 4 weeks pregnant?

About 13 or 14, and I POAS in the afternoon after drinking a fair amount of liquid so I might still be in there but I'm not holding out a lot of hope. Oh well, lots more sex for me next month :)

I was on yasmin, then I got diagnosed with migraines and had to change to a mini pill (cerazette) cause the contraceptive pill increases the risk of stroke with migraines.

I think cerazette is one of the worst for coming off for TTC but thankfully I wasn't on it long

Not necessarily - it's possible to get false negatives. Try again a couple of days if af doesn't get you. How many dpo are you?

Vjones microgynon is the best. It's simply and does the job. I was on it for years and I changed it bcos I kept forgetting it, was on the patch and the jab and eventually Yasmin. Wish I never changed from it

Hi Jelly - I came off micogynon two weeks ago after 12 years and am ovulating today (cd18) so I'm really pleased that it seems to have settles down quickly as well :)

I can't keep up with all the threads.

But I will say, I have been reading about all you girls that have been on Yasmin and that are struggling to get a normal cycle. I will say this out of experience, it may be just a coincidence but I was on Yasmin, I reached 102days in my cycle, I went to my doctors and begged them, they put me on a course of microgynon 30 (it's the pill with the less bad stuff lol) and since then I got my first ovulation and I am now feeling my hormones going again, sore boobs, bloated tummy etc etc i haven't at this for a very long time. And if I get my bfp at the end of the month... Well what can I say, I'm sure it would have been the microgynon Grin

Oh nooooo, its gutting isn't it but defo still early days so your still in for the month.

I was strong and have stayed in the office at lunch. Had some more cramping this morning and got sore boobs but nothing else.

It's the waiting thays annoying - its early days ttc so im not going to be upset if af arrives. Im just not very patient haha. Grin
