Ha ha Wood, exactly!!

Sorry about the job. Is what they've offered you worth considering? You tell me who they are and I'll tell them what muppets they are for passing up on such a good 'un Smile

Broods, bless you, what a wait

woodwaj · 11/03/2014 20:54

I got AF and didn't get the job either I got offered something else though so not so bad.

I think waiting is defo best Vicky, And I agree with everyone else, no news is good news.

Are you going girly pink in the nursery?

I hate your waiting broody, I know exactly how your feeling!

and I really hope you get you letter soon one, for the receptionists sake!!

broodysnoopstie · 11/03/2014 20:15

Hello..

I've used superdrug tests and tonight my first internet cheapy. Still whiter than white bfn and no AF Hmm

Vicky. I DEFINITELY think no news is good news. Agree with One keep your self busy with lovely things. How exciting to be planning your nursery!

xx

onelifeonechance · 11/03/2014 18:44

Wood, so sorry af has turned up, I'm giving her a virtual punch on the nose for you.

Broody, hoping for you, hang in there.

Vicky, it's so hard all this worrying and waiting, I def think no news is good news. Book yourself lots of nice treats in overt he next few days to make the time go faster. And mint aero bubbles sound divine!!!

Hello to nursey, good luck!

No letter I'm ringing on Fri, heaven help the secretary!!!
Cd 18 5dpo here, nothing happening.

Vickyvix · 11/03/2014 14:22

Oops nursey not nursery, sorry, must be on the brain

Vickyvix · 11/03/2014 14:21

Afternoon ladies.

wood sorry AF turned up :(

broody if AF is overdue that's still a good thing, it's not over until she shows. What tests have you been using to get the whiter than white lines?? Have you used a FRER? Different tests have different sensitivities.

wood I don't know whether to chase hospital for results or not. They definitely said they would call 'within a few days' if there was a problem so I'm clinging to the fact that today makes it a whole week and so that must mean good news, otherwise I would have heard. I had a chat to DH last night about whether I should call and chase and he said wait a bit longer, I think I agree - the last thing I want is to chase and be given bad news.

Am still trying not to stress but it's still 2 weeks until my next growth scan with the consultant which seems so long away - why is there always so much waiting!! Have thrown myself into nursery prep to take my mind off it though which is fun.

Devoured a bag of aero mint chic bubbles earlier, if you haven't tried, they are amazing!

nursery hope your 2ww flies by, good luck :)

woodwaj · 10/03/2014 20:40

Its defo good that I dont need to take meds but I was sort of geared up to. I wanted the control back (but no hot flushes so thumbs up! )

I hate those whiter than white tests thats all I bloody get!

Oh well time for one born soon. Im sure I get a bit softer everytime I watch one

broodysnoopstie · 10/03/2014 19:39

Hello lovely ladies Af was due yesterday still not here. Feels like it should be though I've got lots of cramping and still nauseaus and still lots of white cm and today a banging headache... Think its just taking its time showing up as the tests were whiter than white with no trace of a line!

Wood that's good you don't need to take medication isn't it?

Nursey good luck on your 2ww

woodwaj · 10/03/2014 18:57

What day was your AF due Broody?

I seem to have started a period today still very light so ill hold off on the tablets, if its proper it has made this cycle 34 days!

Good job on the bargain cot Vicky, you have to get these bargains when you see them! When will you chase the doc for your results?

Nurse, ovulation pains are a good sign, but I never really know what was there before TTC and what I am now imagining!!

Try some cheap OPKs on amazon or you can chart your temperature as well

NurseyJay · 10/03/2014 13:53

I'm now in the dreaded 2ww which feels like ages already. Since I've been payin more attention to my body, specifically my ovaries (lol) I wondered if other people started noticing little niggles/twinges/aches/pains as well as moods changing more since they've been ttc?

I defo had pain on the run up to ovulation, which is reassuring as pain indicates I definately ovulate (right??)

I am a nurse, but never really known much about baby business (ttc, pregnancy, birth), so if anyone has any hints/tips, feel free to msg me :)

broody It could swing either way, I'll keep my fingers crossed AF doesn't rear her ugly head!

Good luck to y'all

Vickyvix · 10/03/2014 12:11

Ooh sorry to hear about the BFNs ladies, but AF isn't here so that's sort of good news still. I still have my fingers crossed.

one any news on your letter, referral?

Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather.

Had a productive weekend shopping and doing a few nursery bits, we ordered the cot (big move but it was in the sale) and I am half way through covering a chair to go in there - it's taken me all weekend and still not finished though, going to attack it again tonight.

broodysnoopstie · 10/03/2014 07:31

Another BFN for me. Sad

woodwaj · 09/03/2014 19:19

Hi all sorry for lack of replies been a busy weekend! No change today broody? I have a slight red tinge to my cm. But I don't know what to think now. I dont think id notice it if I wasnt checking though. Another bfn this morning anyway. Gutted this weekend dropped my phone and its got a big crack on it. Still working though!

onelifeonechance · 09/03/2014 18:56

Sorry for the BFNs ladies, any updates? Fx for you both.

Hope everyone's had a nice weekend in this sunshine Smile

broodysnoopstie · 09/03/2014 10:16

I'm hanging in. Sorry temporarily lost my grip on sanity! Smile

Vickyvix · 09/03/2014 00:10

Well I had a massive peanut butter and banana milkshake yesterday afternoon and boy was it good!!

Sorry to hear about the BFNs, but it's not over until AF actually arrives.

broody hang in there! Might be a good sign. I definitely remember having a lot more CM when I got my BFP, in fact it just kind of stays like that Blush

I would hold out until Monday and test with FMU. Fingers, legs, eyes, ears crossed for you!! Keep us updated :)

broodysnoopstie · 08/03/2014 12:10

Oh god. I've posted this on March bus too Dp is away im going loopy.

... I've finally got out of my pjs and showered.. have had no symptoms in my 2ww but today despite this morning's bfn I'm feeling a bit crazy.. mainly because I've got stomach cramps and my fanjo aches like when AF is at its heaviest. I keep thinking it's arrived as get the wet feeling but when I check it's just LOADS of thick white lotiony cm in my knickers. I also feel really nauseaus. I'm after a vote

a) broody get a grip you aren't pregnant AF is just on its way..

b) broody I had this/I've heard of symotoms like this I think your pregnant. Just test in a few days..

Thanks ladies

broodysnoopstie · 07/03/2014 19:55

Hi nursey! Good luck! Smile

NurseyJay · 07/03/2014 11:02

Hi everyone. This is my first post on here :) I've been reading posts for months. My husband and I decided Xmas-time we'd start TTC when we got back from skiing.
So, this is our first month TTC, and we're having lots of fun Wink
I think I'm due to ovulate either Sun or Wed... I use two diff apps on my phone and despite both having the same details input, they're giving me diff ovulation dates... confusing!
Either way we're DTD every other day... I'm trying to stay positive, but all the women in my family have problems conceiving... So I don't suppose we'll be lucky/blessed enough to conceive in our first month.
If anyone else is in the same boat... veeeeery early days, GOOD LUCK!!

Vickyvix · 07/03/2014 08:56

Morning all

Welcome MrsW very best of luck to you.

I hadn't really thought about lent! I think I will give up buying stuff I don't need (i.e. Stuff for me) that will save a bit of cash at least. I should probably give up worrying too much too, have been a nervous wreck since Tuesday, DH being a star though.

They are supposed to contact me with the blood results....and I'm still waiting. I get the impression that they call me within a few days if something is wrong and call/write within a week or so if all is ok. I've been watching my phone for the last couple of days and it hasn't rung yet. The man did say if I hadn't heard after a week I could call them.

I have had confirmation that my 12 week bloods which were redone have come back fine, still 1:100000 for downs which is good, it's just the infection ones I'm waiting on.

Have been trying to eat lots of protein and iron over last few days to help baby grow but am craving milkshakes big time! I might cave and buy one today

Will be checking in for a POAS update tomorrow, good luck :)

broodysnoopstie · 07/03/2014 08:02

Well It's Friday I've flushed my fmu and i've got all weekend off so lots and lots of time to knickerwatch! (Still not a symptom in sight so expecting AF) Off to work... hi ho hi ho! x
