We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

Very good advice woodwaj and you are 100% right, I should wait but I definitely want to test on Wednesday as I'm going away, if AF hasn't arrived by then. Have had odd shooting pains this evening on and off, doesn't feel like AF cramps but could be anything.

If BFN weds but still no AF I'll have to pack HPTs and AF goods for holiday!

An odd thing to say but I hope AF comes nice and quickly for you once the meds have finished so you can get back into the cycle.

vjones sounds like a good approach to me, hope it works for you.

woodwaj · 01/09/2013 19:37

Might be best to save your last test until AF is late Vicky

vjones defo in the right direction keep at it Wink

I finish my Norethisterone on Wednesday so hopefully AF should visit me by next weekend!!

VJONES1985 · 01/09/2013 18:30

That's true. This month's aim is to just dtd lots whenever we feel like it until my fertile window and then dtd every day for those five or six days, rather than have a prescribed set plan, which could get quite stressful.

VickyVix · 01/09/2013 18:22

Hi all, I caved and POAS on Friday and again yesterday afternoon, I have no will power, and unsurprisingly both were BFN. What a waste of money!

I have one test left for Wednesday morning. Am 11 dpo today, not much to report other than sore boobs!

Any sign of AF onelife

VJones cd6 is better than cd1, your 6 days closer to ov and have lots of DTD to look forward too Grin

VJONES1985 · 01/09/2013 17:57

I don't know what's worse, the 2ww or the bit I'm on right now (cd6). Sooooo boring...

woodwaj · 01/09/2013 17:55

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Did AF show up yet onelife

What about you Vicky have you caved and POAS yet or still holding out?

KedenTTC1Cycle2 · 30/08/2013 18:46

Sorry to hear about that OneLife.

I'm way early in my 2WW, can't POAS until September 10. The agony Confused

woodwaj · 30/08/2013 10:55

Its mad how different it is for everyone!! One thing is for sure, time is standing still for all of us waiting for something!!

onelifeonechance · 30/08/2013 09:53

Thanks girls. Yes will sit on my hands til af shows up but got a feeling she's on her way, won't order anything though til she shows cos you never know miracles happen !

This ttc business is funny isn't it, woodwaj is desperately wishing for af to come so she can get cracking and me and Vicks are desperately wishing she'll stay the hell away!!!

VickyVix · 30/08/2013 09:06

Morning, sorry to hear that onelife but if AF hasn't shown up it's not definitely over for this month.

I found the OPK really useful. I used Clear Blue digi, they were a bit pricey but very user friendly and I will use again next month if no joy this month.

woodwaj · 30/08/2013 08:59

Sorry to hear that onelife no AF yet though? Personally I used clearblue but they are expensive maybe try some cheaper amazon ones and if your not too keen then upgrade. I would recommend them though

onelifeonechance · 30/08/2013 08:39

Morning ladies,

I'm afraid it's a BFN (from two tests, no hint of a line on either despite holding them up to the window at all angles!) I made myself laugh actually as i was so excited about doing it and was so busy lining up my tests and stopwatch on my mobile that I thought to myself i'll just have a wee before i get started, almost did it down the loo without thinking, d'oh!

I'm obviously disappointed as it would've been so lovely if it had been a BFP but wasn't really expecting it this time round so it's not felt as such a shock as last time. Still feeling positive and really keen to start using opk this month - what brand are you guys using??

VickyVix · 29/08/2013 22:01

Good luck for tomorrow! Will be checking in in the morning, fingers crossed for you onelife Grin

woodwaj · 29/08/2013 20:19

Im looking forward to your post tomorrow, Good Luck!!

onelifeonechance · 29/08/2013 20:12

Hi ladies. Yes today has been loooooong Smile but nearly through it now, just hoping af doesn't arrive to spoil my poas plans! Will keep you posted, eek!
Hope you're all getting on ok and hello to Butler, welcome to the mad (but v supportive& lovely) house Grin

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 17:44

Yeah, heard about b6 and think I'll use it if my luteal phase doesn't improve in a month or two.

VickyVix · 29/08/2013 12:04

Hi VJones yes, this is my first cycle off the pill (after around 11/12 years) although I had got quite lazy taking it over the last six months or so Wink. I'm not really expecting a lot this cycle, but the OPK confirmed I actually ovulated which is great so I'm guessing AF will turn up some time soon, I'm just taking each day she stays away as a bonus, I'm on 7 dpo now. If I can get to 10 or 11 dpo before AF that would be nice 14 would be nicer!), just to know my cycle is kind of back on track but would be sooooo lovely to get a BFP instead :)

Sorry AF got you this month, apparently Vitamin B6 is worth a try to lengthen your luteal phase. I'll see you on the September bus and keep my fingers crossed for you.

Welcome Butler. Good luck with everything, I found the OPKs really helped me to understand what was happening and when this month, if I don't have any luck with BFP this month I will carry on using them next month.

Butler4 · 29/08/2013 11:20

Thanks Vjones1985, appreciate it. Will give them a try and see how we get on.

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 11:18

Good luck, butler! I came off the pill last month after 12 years. Opks really helped me so I hope you find them useful.

Butler4 · 29/08/2013 11:08

Hi all im new to the forum today, I came off the pill in December and it took me about 3-4 months before I got a period. Even now it doesnt seem to have settled down, however I do get some occasional bleeding for a few days. I was on the pill for 12 years so expecting it will take time to get back to normal. Had a nightmare with my skin after coming off the pill but feel much happier (read less moody). Wish I had come off it years ago! Doh!

Have ordered ovulation kits (it will take me time to get used to all the abbreviations on here) and waiting to see how it goes.

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 10:58

Hi Vicky - is this your first month off the pill? I'm currently in my first af since coming off it and pill withdrawal gave me so many symptoms. My luteal phase was only seven days and was unexpected so I was gutted but am trying to be positive and focus on the fact that at least I ovulated and had a period in month one. Am scared that my luteal phase will be short for a long time though :(

VickyVix · 29/08/2013 10:44

Hi onelife not long for you now! Looking forward to your update tomorrow and hoping it's good news when you POAS!

My mind has been in overdrive. Trying not to symptom spot but it's on my mind a lot, have been very bloated for about 4 days now (probably eaten too much!) and have really sore nipples - sorry TMI alert!

Waiting is hard but have to hold out until next Tues/Weds if AF doesn't get me first. I had heard that coming off pill can give you a very short luteal phase so every day AF stays away is a good one, one week down, 6 days to go Brew

woodwaj · 29/08/2013 09:55

Thanks onelife im quite positive about it and I started my tablets this morning to bring on Af so I should be able to start clomid soon!

I can imagine today is going to go extra slow for you!!

If anyone wants them I have 2 sticks for the clearblue dual ovulation kit not many but they are expensive!

onelifeonechance · 28/08/2013 21:35

Hi woodwaj, good to hear from you, I was wondering where you'd got to, glad you're ok! Sorry about the pcos but sounds like they've got you sorted and wishing you lots of luck and baby dust with it all Smile

Hows your 2ww going V?? Any symptom spotting craziness yet? I've managed not to poas, it's been hard at times but don't want to cave, want to wait til Fri, it's almost here now thank goodness!

woodwaj · 28/08/2013 16:58

It explains all the flashing smileys!! I will defo keep you posted, and good luck on your 2WW!! x
