Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

I really can't take people who are so judgemental for no real reason.. She isn't the only one on mn though, unfortunately!

Beccy1974 · 26/07/2006 21:03

yes v true re tesco specials but as i knew was wasting time i bought those rather than clearblue. which may hav given a pos

false economy

oh yes :-)

bubblez · 26/07/2006 20:53

AM sorry to hear about af.... good luck for next month then..

Ahh Nicki dh is truely a gent..

Becky I thought your af isn't due until wednesday?? If so then I'm sure that tescos cheapos won't be able to detect hgc hormones so you still could be pgers...

Ok off to see what X is on about now.... hehe

Natty1806 · 26/07/2006 20:34

Fish and chips - he certainly knows how to treat you. LOL Nice big hug though, bet you two are v. happy.

Just imagining you bed side table full off peeed on preg tests - Lovely.

Yeah it was... Why do people feel the need to comment on things like this?

Aww... how sweet of him Nicki!

Nicki10 · 26/07/2006 20:27

Well he got an earlier flight to suprise me but forgot about my meeting! So I had it in my bag for him when I met him in town after the meeting but he'd already sneaked a pic at the others by my bed (I was amazed he could read those ones).

But i got a giant hug when he met me which was lovely and he treated me to fish and chips, what a gentlemen!

I know what you mean X about baby names too I read on another thread that someone had said how twee it was to have poppy and daisy (these are our chosen names) and how it was like an episode of darling buds of May. I was V annoyed.

Natty1806 · 26/07/2006 20:21

Hi Nicki

Did you take the test to the airport?

X - i think i know what you mean (baby names)?

AM - yeah think of the expense of two birthdays in the same monht, roll on next month lets think positive.

Thank you I thought I was starting to miscarry, not sure I could bear that, I said I wouldn't get excited but you can't help it can you?!

I brought even more books today, soon my house will look like a library

Another hot night girls for BDing! I've had 2 showers tonight and the sweat is still rolling off me! sorry TMI

Xavielli · 26/07/2006 20:00

Yes... definately. I had AF pains right the way through with both of mine.

Read lots of the posts in pregnancy, there are loads that describe the feelings as like AF.

Nicki10 · 26/07/2006 19:42

Sorry girls I know I said I wouldn't do this but did any of you with DD or DS already have cramping pulling pains like AF when you first found out you were PG, I asked my mother and some friends and they all said no so i'm very scared.

Xavielli · 26/07/2006 18:58

Sorry.. diversion.

Why do people have to post negative things about other peoples choices? GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

aprilmeadow · 26/07/2006 18:50

Sorry for bad grammar - ds was playing horsey on my lap and distracting me

aprilmeadow · 26/07/2006 18:49

Natty - thats good news that af has arrived.

Thought she was going to be visiting as i have been rather moody for the last few days and crampy. I should just tell myself that i dont want two babies in birthdays in the same month as knowing my luck they would have the same birthday.....

Heres hoping for a May 07 baby

Xavielli · 26/07/2006 18:44

Sorry to hear that AM. Always the way that you spend the money and along she comes!

As you say.. there is always next month! Get DH to start working out... maybe he has let his super sperm get lazy! lol

It will happen for you soon

Beccy1974 · 26/07/2006 18:44

Natty1806 · 26/07/2006 18:42

Sorry to her that AprilM' -nothing like a preg test for AF to arrive.

i am on cd1 as well today we can be cycle buddies, however mine are long cyles so we will be different, but we can moan about crappy AF while she is here.

Well i will not be getting a bfp as af has arrived Should have arrived yesterday i think, so off i went to get yet another pg test and about 10 mins after i got a bfn along she came!! Oh well i am sure that dh will enjoy trying again... didnt think i would be too bothered if af arrived, but just realsied that i WAS bothered. He did say that he felt robbed that we fell pg on 1st time of trying with ds... obviously doesnt possess the super sperm he thought he did

Beccy1974 · 26/07/2006 08:38

yeah i like yummy mummy too, except i read it once and my mum borrowed it, not seen since :-)

some of the NCT books look good; i sent off for their info pack.

Nicki10 · 26/07/2006 08:37

I've read 3 times Beccy! I have 4 other pregnancy and birth books too! But I agree that that one is the best I also really liked the Yummy Mummy's survival guide. I have become a bit obsessed

Beccy1974 · 26/07/2006 08:26

thanks Nicki

have you read Jools Oliver's book btw, I thought it was really good and has some great info at back about baby shops etc, good websites, books and all that stuff

Nicki10 · 26/07/2006 08:22

Sainsburys cheapo but the line was very faint then clear blue early response again quite faint and now digital.

Digital is the most expensive but defineatly the best and most satisfying IMO

Beccy1974 · 26/07/2006 07:58

nicki, ur excitement is quite infectious.. hope it sets off some more bfp's :-)

which test did you use first again?

Nicki10 · 26/07/2006 07:53

I can't wait just trying to stay calm as it's early days yet but I did a digital test this morning (well four in the morning as I needed the loo so much!) and it came up really quickly with pregnant!

I loved seeing it so much that I just kept staring at in and couldn't go back to sleep, I think I will have to take this one in my handbag today. I'm going to meet DP at the airport with it

Xavielli · 25/07/2006 21:31

Best thing about newborns is the smell!! They don't lose it for about 4-5months either... absolutely gorgeous!

DS is nearly 19 months and DD is nearly 4 months!

15months between the two...so relatively close together anyway. its very interesting! lol

Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 21:04

Wow amazing I didn't realise yours children were so young I thought you were trying again but i realize thats bubblez! They would be close together!

Is she amazing I was cuddling a 28 day old baby girl today and I could'nt stop going guey she was adorbable
