Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

I'm a nursery nurse it's a great job, but hard when all you can think about is having your own babies

conkertree · 16/11/2006 17:42

I am a solicitor so not many babies at my office, but i babysit for my nephew who is 23 months once a week, and usually see him at weekends too which is great. My niece is 2 and a bit months but i don't see her quite as much

Natty1806 · 16/11/2006 17:34

That's a shame. I love spending time with my friends LO's but then it is something i want

Xavielli · 16/11/2006 17:20

None of my friends are in the slightest bit interested in Babies.

Probably the reason I never get invited anywhere anymore! LOL

Natty1806 · 15/11/2006 17:57

What do you do out of interest? I can't stop thinking about ttc as it is so if i was with babies all day i would be terrible.

A couple of my friends have chidren, one is 8 years older than me though and the other who is also 24 has a 4 year old and a 2 year old.
None of my other friends have even thought about children yet.

I work with babies every day though and they all just make me so broody

Natty1806 · 15/11/2006 09:01

None of my brothers have children, a friend had a baby last December but she is 6 years older than me and another friend who is 2 years younger than me is currently pregnant.

Generally though most of my friends have no desire for Children at the moment.

I'm 25 and also trying for my first. Have you got friends who have children or are trying? My sister and brother (both older) have one each, and we have one friend (also older) with a baby but most of my friends my own age aren't even thinking about children at the moment.

Natty1806 · 15/11/2006 08:23

Same as me 24 and trying for my first.

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 13:41

Well Af has arrived again so onto month 3 of clomid, trying to relax a bit more this month but that is easier said than done. Trying for even more bding sessions this month

Glad you are well, x

Hey ladies.

Hope all is well and the BDing isn't too much hard work! (Make the most of it, my sex drive has completely gone out the window with 2 kids that move! lol)

I think it is important to try and relax, but I don't know what it must be like to be trying for 16months with no joy, both of mine were happy little accidents! Much love to all

xxx

conkertree · 03/11/2006 14:28

thanks very much - i have been reading quite a few threads and maybe came into all this a bit naively thinking that most people got pg within a few months, so the reality is hitting me a wee bit that its very often not that easy. but am not going to worry about it just now cause am only in my first month of trying and that would be silly. good luck to you though

Natty1806 · 03/11/2006 07:22

Hello and welcome This is a good thread if you don't want to be seriously trying yet, as there are a few mums on here who have had there children but want young people to chat to.

As i have been trying for 16 months nearly i am a serious tryer but wish i could go back to not stressing so much about it, those first 6 months it all seemed so easy.

i'm another first timer, aged 25, and just in my first month of ttc. finding it very interesting to read everyone elses stories - i don't have any close friends who are at the same stage as me - my two friends who do have babies are now onto number 2, so its great to hear about other people just at the start of things.

have looked at lots of the threads but can't really join in on many as am not trying to take temperatures and things yet - we thought we'd just trying lots of BDing first and see how it goes - anybody else doing the same?

Natty1806 · 29/10/2006 12:47

Thanks and good luck to you. xxx

HIJACK

Hello. Just popping in to say Hi. I popped in at start of thread. Bit of a fake as I'm 30, but I was trying for ages to have no2(while still in my 20s!) and he's due in 8 weeks.

Just wanting to pass on some babydust and good luck to you all.

Natty1806 · 29/10/2006 10:24

Thanks i am currently in the 2ww so fingers crossed. x

Must be hard planning a wedding as well as looking after two little ones, plus you are having a double wedding so other people to consider etc must make it hard.

Will let you know in just over a week if AF has arrived.

Thank you to Natty for finding this thread - i had been reading it in the background in Sept but had forgotten all about it since then.
I am a firsttimmer and 25, DH is 26 in two weeks. Been trying since i came off the pill at the end of June 06, no luck yet but i musn't be too impatient. Great news about you ovulating Natty. The drillling info made me wince (sp?)
Babydust to all

Xavielli · 12/10/2006 18:27

FANTASTIC that you ovulated Natty! that is great news! Just keep BDing hun sigh I know it's a struggle but you'll manage it

Natty1806 · 11/10/2006 16:55

I had to scroll nearly all the way to the bottom for this thread - where have we all gone???

Anyway update on me if any of you are still interested. Clomid worked and made me ovulate so that is excellent didn't mangage to get preggers though so am onto my second cycle now just need to bd more and at the right times, feeling positive as if it may actually happen now.

If i do not get preggers within the next 6 months i will be back in the feriltiy clinic to see what happens next, i am also booked in for a lap & dye + ovarian drilling in March again if not pregnant by then.

SO feeling more in control of the situation now as i have plans and things to look foward to and it is all one step closer to my baby.

Really hope everyone else is well.

I know as few had m/c and really hope you are coping with your loss.

Big hugs from me . x
