hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

I am getting so fed up waiting on first AF. I have had 'that' feeling that she is about to appear for 2 weeks now. Boobs are starting to feel a bit tender but my nipples are so sensitive. Every time anything brushes them I almost hit the roof-sorry tmi! Also suffering a bit of nausea, headaches and peeing every 5 minutes (perhaps a slight exaggeration). I just want to get back to TTC. I am finding it harder and harder to see my friend who is a month ahead of where I would be. Bit fed up and emotional today Sad

Enough of my whinging, how is everyone doing?

cheesysmile · 17/10/2013 21:22

Ahhhh MrsA get a sensitive test, superdrug are good and a lot cheaper and do with fmu. Let us know how you get on ... fingers crossed for you Smile

HollyBen · 17/10/2013 21:18

Fingers crossed MrsA x

MrsAnderson22 · 17/10/2013 20:47

well it turns out I peed on a first response one step test which is apparently not as sensitive as frer??! soooo DH went out tonight to get food and popped into boots for a frer. I peed on that one too! neurotic!!! anyway, I could only see one line, put it in the kitchen and left it for about 15 mins, went to bin it and did the 'one last look' and saw a very very very faint pink line (not evap)! now I'm thinking- it's not accurate because it was after the 3 mins, or was it there within the alloted time and I just didn't see it?! so if AF doesn't come by saturday maybe I might do my other first response one step and pray my hcg levels are high enough to be confirmed on that one.

still 90% sure AF is going to show as I'm cramping.....10% of me feels like I have pg boobs and not AF boobs!

MrsA I took a test and got a negative before the positive. Keep your spirits up x

HollyBen · 17/10/2013 16:54

Sorry to hear that MrsA. As lucky says not out till AF arrives.

No sign of AF for me. I have really tenders boobs today so I guess that could be a sign.

Luckystar1 · 17/10/2013 11:27

Oh MrsA I'm so sorry about the bfn, I hope it's just too early. Fx for you, you're not out til af shows. X

MrsAnderson22 · 17/10/2013 10:04

DH is rushing out in the morning, putting DC's into school then straight off to buy me a frer! hope I can hold my pee that long!!

Hi Nelly and welcome.

Counting EPRC as CD1 I am now CD35. Still no sign of AF so POAS this morning and it was a BFN. I was a bit Sad at the time then almost cried a couple of times at work. Been out with some colleagues tonight, had some wine and feeling a bit weepy again. Guess I just need to wait for AF then go for it again.

MrsA I hope you are feeling better today. Are you still planning on POAS tomorrow? When you do get a BFP you will torture yourself. When I was pg with my DD after MC #1 I was sensitive to everything. I cried before during and after my 8 week scan and before and during my 12 week one. I probably would have cried after but the woman who did the scan was a bit rude so I was too busy bring angry. It gets better though

NellyOC · 16/10/2013 11:10

That was meant to say - I'm NOW TTC #2 rather than 'not'.

NellyOC · 16/10/2013 11:07

Hello all - i haven't posted on these forums since my DS was a baby. I'm not TTC #2.
I don’t want to hijack but OP story is similar to what I’m going through and is driving me crazy.

I have my mirena removed in June. I’ve been using a clear blue fertility monitor because I had one from last pg, so why not. I got a BFP on 17/9/13 and then a BFN 23/9 at the hospital (just spotting at that point) followed by heavy bleeding from 25/9. If I class first day of miscarriage bleed as start of this cycle then I would be due my AF on 20/10 (4 days time).
So my boobs are really sore, so bad took me ages to get comfy in bed to sleep, I have slight cramps, and my lower back is aching, plus I’ve been really emotional. So I’ve convinced myself I’m pg. But I did a test last night and it was negative. So now I’m sat waiting for AF convinced that I tested too early.
This cycle I didn’t use fertility monitor as miscarriage messed up when I would start it etc so I have no idea about when or if I’ve ovulated etc.
So confused and emotional about it all. Just wanted to say to OP I’m there with you and I truly hope your shoulder pain is nothing.

Luckystar1 · 15/10/2013 21:38

MrsA don't panic please! It is probably nothing. I know it's so horrible and scary, but if you are pregnant you will only recently have implanted, it's not indicative of anything!! Please try not to be upset, please don't worry! We're all here with you. X

MrsAnderson22 · 15/10/2013 21:21

scaring myself senseless here :( I'm having shoulder tip pain again! this is around the time I started with it just before my miscarriage in July! if I am pregnant I'm going to be torturing myself until a scan! I can't go through all this again so soon! my shoulder is burning, same shoulder as before and in the same place, I haven't experienced this before or since my miscarriage :( it's been happening since yesterday.

Green... You fertile thing!! Well done you! Fx for the speedy passing of the next few weeks, any chance you could go privately?

MrsA, I've never heard of answer so in respons, I'd go for FRER. I've been reading a pregnancy book, and it said they're scientifically the most sensitive.

Fx for you!! I hope you get your bfp this month!

MrsAnderson22 · 15/10/2013 20:51

aaaah these days are draggggging!! in preparation for posibility of late AF I want to know which test is best...I've used first response in the past, and ones called Answer then confirmed with clear blue digi. so what do you ladies think, Answer or First response? Xx

Hello ladies who have joined recently. I have been offline for a few days - caught a vomiting bug :( terrified it would hurt the little one but they reassured me. Have my fingers crossed for all of you!

Luckystar in response to your question about DTD we only managed three times - but that worked. Just want the next 6 weeks to hurry up as not being offered an early scan this time.

Fingers crossed for you all xxx

Luckystar1 · 15/10/2013 07:22

So excited for MrsA poas day! I hope this is your month!

Cheesy, yes Fx! I have never temped, I'm not sure how to do it! We're up at the Lakes with friends on predicted O day so dh has been getting instructed on the need for 'continuity'!

cheesysmile · 14/10/2013 22:51

Good call MrsA hold out til Thursday ... so hoping for a bfp for you. Also stupid emails, hope it didn't upset you.

Lucky hope that monitor isn't required. Cud use opk sticks this cycle instead though? Or just relax ... I'm not very good at that, was temping AND using opks. DH thought i was nuts i think!

MrsAnderson22 · 14/10/2013 21:32

hi everyone, I'm still holding on! thanks for all your messages, I'm 10/11dpo. I know I'm constantly symptom spotting but I swear my boobs are REALLY tender.....slight niggling cramps too. ahhh why do pregnancy symptoms have to be so similar to AF symptoms....and around the same time?! hope everyone is well, I hope to have results in the next couple of days. I might test on thursday, I don't think I could wait any longer!!

oh, I am constantly getting emails from a site called mypregnancy :( I have deactivated my profile with them but keep getting random emails... today's subject was 'you're now 24 weeks pregnant!' urgh...no I'm not and oh my god that would have flew by sooo quick!

xx
