I'm quite new to all this but I think I've got ewcm already even though my AF only stopped in Thursday. Does this mean I'm ovulating now? I've just come off the pill so this is my first proper cycle! Boyfriend is super excited about this!
Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend we are just off to the pub for a pizza! :)

charleslingus · 18/08/2013 15:10

Also, welcome worried sounds like you've got a really positive attitude, I'm sorry af got you but I'm sure keeping positive, being proactive and making lots of healthy changes you are giving yourself all the best chances, good luck for Sept!

My dc' s are away for the weekend- how do we choose to spend it? Sunday In the bloody gym...I think I've got my priorities messed up.

coco808 · 18/08/2013 14:56

Thanks jaykay I will start that from tomorrow morning Smile

VJONES1985 · 18/08/2013 13:47

strong, I meant...

VJONES1985 · 18/08/2013 13:46

Coffee - leakage after sex is the semen that is not needed and the less string swimmers. The strong swimmers will still be inside doing their job :)

jaykay987 · 18/08/2013 13:41

Coco temping patterns are more accurate if you take at the same time everyday. However you can still see a pattern even if you have a lie in.

I take my temps two hours later at the weekend, and I am still able to see a good pattern.

If you use fertility friend, it takes the time into account, so knows whether to ignore outlying ones or not.

Good luck!

coco808 · 18/08/2013 13:25

Thank you Coffee and International! I drowned my sorrows in a bottle of wine last night Blush, so I'm feeling a bit delicate today.

Starting clear blue digital tomorrow and temping. Do I have to take the temperature the same time everyday? What happens if I have a lie- in at the weekend?

CoffeeGuzzler · 18/08/2013 12:23

Happy sunday ladies!

The borrower, a friend of mine took driving test at 9 months pg and passed!! She said that her belly did most of the driving and the examiner woman seemed to have taken pity and passed her. Ha!

AF finally gone so properly ttc now. This is probably TMI, but umm... there is some leakage after the dtd. Not sure how i'm going to upduffed if it refuses to stay in?! Google says it's normal. I sure hope so.

lucyfluff · 18/08/2013 11:48

Checking in ladies!! Managed drunken naughties last night!!! I did overdo the wine consumption and have a hangover :((( not god with a 16mnth ds !!

Still have low period pain cramps ? Anyone else?

The borrower I wouldn't worry about being pg and doing your test etc, other than being tired it shouldn't affect anything! I guess like charlesingus says it depends on if you really need to pass. Good luck anyway :)))

charleslingus · 18/08/2013 11:18

Ah, of course chubby, well hopefully this is ov (pain is common, bleeding less so but some women do experience spotting around ov) or hopefully implantation, fingers crossed for you!

Theborrower I've been putting off learning to drive for 2 years but as my dh and I work from home and he can drive I haven't been forced to yet, but I know if I have a third dc I will have to learn so the minute I find out I will panic and start lessons.

It's not ideal and should have started when first decided to ttc but it's one of those things I need to be practically forced into.

I don't have too many worries about doing it when pg though, will be way more motivated, but if you really want to be pg I wouldn't put it on hold as it may take as long as it takes to get your license to conceive anyway.

It depends on your age really and how keen you are to have a family within a timescale, just bear in mind the average time to conceive is around 6 months, and if you are close to your test in the first trimester you can always postpone till you feel up to it x

internationallove985 · 18/08/2013 11:00

Hi I've nothing much to report but I just thought I'd drop in and see how everyone is doing. I also see there are some newbies. Welcome aboard!
I'm only fertile till 20th wont see him though till 21st but still going to make love that day, well it wont hurt to practice. xx

ChubbyKitty · 18/08/2013 10:29

Charles I don't even know anymore after the 30 day AF. I doubt I've OVd yet because that would mean my body being nice and doing what I tell it.

I've also ran out of OPKsHmm

To be fair it was probably gas. And the smear was probably...umm..Confused

worriedmum100 · 18/08/2013 09:43

Hello, room for a little (and slightly desperate one)?

Worried - ttc dc#2, cycle 18:( cd1, af/bfp due approx 19th

Haven't had chance to read through thread properly yet but will be back. V kind dp has taken ds to park so I could lie in (and cry about af...) But have decided
to try and be positive. Have decided to smile, focus on enjoying my ds, stop drinking alcohol and caffeine, eat more healthily, ring the changes with the obsessional ttc gadgets and buy a clear blue fertility monitor (temping is soooo 2012 - for me at least!) So in short determined not to lose hope!

theborrower · 18/08/2013 09:35

Well, I'm now on CD16, and DH didn't want to do the deed last night either. I can see us not managing to conceive this month! It has been a busy and tiring couple of weeks though.

Also having second thoughts about TTC right now as I'm learning to drive - instructor thinks I'll be ready to sit my test in October. If I did get pregnant this month, it means I'll be sitting my test in the first trimester. Is this wise?? I had a fairly good pregnancy last time, but I do remember being pretty knackered in the first trimester. what do people think? Put off TTC until I've passed my test, or keep going and if necessary, just postpone my test until I'm further along and hope that I'll be well? I know I'm getting ahead of myself a wee bit, but interested in hearing your thoughts about sitting a test while pg! Might post in pregnancy forum too.

charleslingus · 18/08/2013 08:35

I need to change my stats and would be really grateful if anyone gets a chance,

Charleslingus ttc#3 cycle 3 bfp 15th Sept.

Chubby, how many dpo are you? It could be something! But depends where you are in your cycle I suppose

Jaykay, not sure if this is the right place to keep sane, but you'll be in fantastic company.

jaykay987 · 18/08/2013 00:22

Well Im on cd5 and AF has left for a month (hopefully longer).

So Im now "active" on the September bus! I've been getting really broody the past few weeks. So fingers crossed this is my bus!
I ovulated (according to temps) on cd17 last month, so I need to ensure DH and I dtd several times over the bank holiday weekend as that should be my fertile time!

Good luck everyone! Hope this is a lucky bus for us all!

(I've lost the plot. I've spent the day watching 2 episodes short of a full series of One Born today! Plus have worked out if this is my month, my EDD would be my birthday week..!). Think Ill be posting a lot the next few weeks to keep me sane!

ChubbyKitty · 17/08/2013 21:55

I had a twinge today(enough of one to write home about) and a small smear of old blood.

Does this mean anything? It wouldn't happen that quickly would it?

mama31 · 17/08/2013 19:19

Welcome coco!!! This is the bus for u!!! :)

mama31 · 17/08/2013 19:18

Well I've had quite a bit of good news over the last few days....just a few things that will make life easier (especially if we are going to have a baby) so I am feeling very positive that this could be my month!!! Things are falling in to place and I would just be ecstatic if we could get a bfp this month as would be the icing on the cake :) I think the September bus is the one to be on ladies!!!! I have a good vibe! :) :)

CoffeeGuzzler · 17/08/2013 14:58

Hey Chubby glad you are feeling better. Superhero baby haha!

Welcome aboard Coco Smile

ImaginaryHat · 17/08/2013 13:46

coco808 ttc # 1, cycle 2, BFP due 21st??

internationallove985 · 17/08/2013 11:18

Well my night kind of went to plan. Although we didn't quite manage all night. On reflection now I didn't think we would be a girl can dream, can't she. (L.O.L)
. He fell asleep at around 10.30 pm so we had around 90 mins last night then again this morning from around 9-10. I only see him most Weds and every Fri so I have to make the most of it and last night especially with int being one of my fertile days. (big smile)
Also I nearly forget welcome to Bluec2 xx
