That's it really. Trying to give TTC a kick up the arse as I'm getting old and counting days doesn't seem to be working.

What's easy to use and won't cost a bloody fortune?

ItalianWiking - you wont need them next month, positive thinking!!! :D

I found the ClearBlue on clearance sale in Tesco and use them atm, and I must admit, I would prob end up buying them next month too, even tho they are expensive, because they are just so much easier for me to follow and use...

Counting and guessing and I guess getting it wrong was putting a big stress on our marriage and making sex seem like a chore - not a fun at all!

This basically. I'm very regular and doing it every other day from day 10 is basically killing us.

I really like the Cyclotest fertility monitor. You can also find it on Amazon. Its a bit more expensive then clearblue but you don't have to keep buying the refill test strips which can really add up. It works off of temperature instead and is something like 99% accurate.

For us it was totally worth having something that accurately predicted my ovulation date. Counting and guessing and I guess getting it wrong was putting a big stress on our marriage and making sex seem like a chore - not a fun at all!

I also now use the same device for natural contraception but that's a different story :)

Hope you have happy news to share soon!

I bought the cheap sticks before and it never said I ovulated. But I got two BFP in that time (and two MCs), so those cheap sticks must be lying. The CBFM have been able to detect my LH window. I also do BBT, so I know it's right. (I need the OPK to tell me that I'm coming up to O-day. BBT only tells me that I've just ovulated).

I bought the cheap strips last month from Amazon and it appears I didn't ovulate or the strips don't work.

I am going to try them again this month...

I'm regular but no luck so far, been looking on amazon. Are the cheap strips any good? The ones that look like blood glucose strips?

I though of getting the fertility monitor but its an expense that I couldn't justify. I'm pretty regular, so didn't see the point of buying the monitor.

LondonSuperTrooper · 05/08/2013 10:45

Sorry on the phone and I posted too soon!
Was in the middle of typing that I found it hard using the non digital version as I was not good at seeing the two lines!!!

OneLittleToddleTerror · 05/08/2013 10:45

I use the clear blue fertility monitor. Haven't got any good news yet, but I'm needing a kick up the butt too, and that's why I started it.

LondonSuperTrooper · 05/08/2013 10:44

I use the clearblue digital. I like having the smiley coming up as you get a definitive answer. I've tried the ones where two lines come up and I always found if hard to judge which line isb

LizW36 · 05/08/2013 10:24

im the same!!! I used Boots own brand this last month but to be honest I didnt think it was very good. Am going to try the Clear Blue digital one next month.

Sick of counting days and never quite sure if im ovulating or not!

xx
