Hi everyone,

I have just joined the site, and would love to hear your stories.

I came off the pill in May, and started trying this month, how do you calm yourself in not getting your hopes up for AF not to arrives (she's due any where between tomorrow and Sunday)

I don't like waiting lol

Hiya all, I came off the pill end April and got my period in may on the "right" time, since its been regular and have a 31 cycles but I have no idea about ovulation date or any of that, total newbie to those things :D
Bought ovulation tests and are trying testing now but so fare negative every day :(

Thanks, swimming - glad to see you're another person who didn't have to wait too long for your cycle to return after the pill.

i think mine are due to af ... hope not but im getting cramps now .. oh how gutting, i don't think its the month for me
having oh away is frustrating for sure but its life its guess can't be helped

Hiya, I took my last pill on 24june, had usual withdrawal "bleed" followed by a proper Af 25 days later. We dtd days 7,9,11 and 13 which was actual ovulation day. 2po now and feeling dizzy as hell!

Sorry, 2ww is 2 week wait from ovulation to hopefully being up the spout!

Been trying on and off since jan, stopped in April due to house stress but started again properly in July so this is first month really.

Was due Tuesday just gone if I had a 28 day cycle, or next Tuesday if it was 35. Ugh, hate waiting and driving myself mad with imaginary (??) symptoms.

Having your OH away a lot must be tough when you know it would be a good time to DTD

Oh its nice to hear from someone in the same boat.

we dtd 3 days before O, so I'm really hoping its done the trick. if not then who know when our next chance will be.
I am having the odd symptom (horrible taste in my mouth and feeling sick) but am I just talking myself into it lol

Keepswimming1 .... I'm in the same boat... always a bonus when dh and I are in the same country at the same time... he managed not to fly until the day of the big O this month so hope we might be lucky!! if not then trying not to plan any travel for the August O!

I've been on the pill for years, came off in jan and settled into a 'cycle' of sorts! Sometimes 28 days, sometimes 35 so I really struggle to know when's the best time. End up just DTD whenever I can.

I was hoping it would have happened sooner but I am on 2WW this week, AF due on 30th (for 28 day cycle) but won't test til after 35 days if that makes sense.

Hiya, After coming off the pill I had my last 'pill' period as normal, then it took 30 days for my normal one to arrive (in the mean time given me loads of different symptoms). Its different for everyone but fingers crossed you wont have to wait to long x

I just cant stop thinking about the fact that I might be pregnant, its madness. lolout for the month which is helpful. (ptracker)

Hiya, I came off the pill last week and this will be our first month of trying too. I know I will get my hopes up every single time! Can I ask, did you get 'normal' periods straight after stopping the pill?
