Going to start trying for a third in August, I already have a dd10 and a ds7. I don't mind a boy or a girl but if I could choose I would choose a girl as still have all dd gorgeous little dresses and cardigans don't know what happened to ds clothes!
Anyone else mad enough to try for a third??

Hello all,

Almost excited or AF to arrive cos then we can begin TTC!!
Agree three with being anxious about going ack to all those horrible emotions when it takes a while to get PG. Am just going to focus on enjoying my 2 wonderful DDs, wine, pâté, soft cheese, non PG wardrobe and not be so obsessed this time around.
Should have AF in next day or two so will be DTD soon!
Hope all surviving 2 week wait, DTD etc.

pommedechocolat · 16/09/2013 22:12

Fingers crossed ELR!

Congratulations hands!

Dh and I in our waiting t ttc are becoming more sure and have more concrete plans now so that's exciting. Roll on 2014 now!

ELR · 16/09/2013 18:36

Hello all!

Yaaaaayyy - huge congrats Handsfull, what lovely news. Hope all goes well for you.

Good luck for this month ELR - we're the same here, feast to famine Wink

Welcome Wife! Similar here, we were lucky with DC1 but DC2 took 16 months so I'd reached the crying when other people announced their pregnancies stage/sobbing on the way home from parties etc - dreading that again :( Plus I now teach antenatal classes so can't exactly avoid pregnant women this time!

I'm very excited because I've just got a lovely positive OPK Grin Grin - was beginning to worry that I wasn't actually OVing at all because DC2 is still nursing quite a lot at night, so am delighted to have something to show that I am :)

WifeofGru · 13/09/2013 13:56

Congratulations handsful. Wishing you a very healthy pregnancy. Here's to lots more on the thread.

Handsfullandlovingit · 11/09/2013 21:26

Thanks Basil and ELR, less laid back holiday, more rabbits do Brittany! I haven't dared come near the thread for a couple of weeks, delayed testing for ages as have lost a few v early days. So stayed in lala land for as long as possible, until it would have been impossible to write off as a late period. I am wishing you both much luck this month, get those men into line! And wifeofgru, welcome and good luck to you too.

ELR · 11/09/2013 21:03

Well done hands the chilled out approach on holiday must of done the trick or was that last month?
basil let's hope its the most successful!! We didn't manage to dtd lastnight after all DH was truly tired! I was slightly annoyed but tried not to let him know, he's just declared he's up for it tonight though, but I've turned him down! It's too bloody late now!!
Welcome wifeofgru
Good luck all.

Yay, handsfull! Congratulations!

Wow, is this the most successful conception thread ever to grace mumsnet?? 'tis a lucky thread!

LOL at ELR. My dh is still in the all-too-glad-to-have-the-excuse phase, I think.

Welcome, wifeofgru, and good luck to you too! :)

Handsfullandlovingit · 11/09/2013 19:19

Hi ladies. Bfp here. Ooh er. Hope it is a sticky one. Good luck to you all.

WifeofGru · 10/09/2013 19:16

Can I join ladies? Very exciting to be going for a third. Have two DDs, aged 5 and just turned 2.
Bit nerve-racking as took a while to conceive DD2. DD1 unplanned. DD2 13 long months so I think I may be here a while Grin.
Waiting for AF due within the week then will start trying.
Not gonna do any testing with OPK this time. Used CBFM last time and had very regular cycles. Get ovulation pain and EWCM so trying to be laid back about things and accept that I may be in for a long wait.
Good luck all!

ELR · 10/09/2013 14:48

Ooh that was lucky basil fingers crossed.
I informed DH this morning that we had to dtd again tonight so not to be late he actually moaned and said there is only so much sex a man can take!!
Ha ha he better make the most of it as soon as I get my BFP sex will be off the menu!! At least for a while anyway.....

basilafawlty · 09/09/2013 20:48

Ah, sorry to hear that, three. Better luck this month! :)

I'm happy because got positive OPK a couple of hours before dh had to go away (till Friday) so had time to dtd before he went, and am crossing my fingers that might be enough! Guess I am in for the 2ww this month after all! ;D

ELR · 04/09/2013 19:41

three sorry af arrived.
On cd7 today so the shagging will soon commence!! Hoping for a BFP this month love the number 9! And if I did fall this month due date would be my mums birthday so that would be cool!
To be honest I don't care just want to be pregnant!!

three, so sorry to hear it arrived Sad

Onwards and upwards, fingers crossed for next month :)

2lilgirls · 04/09/2013 14:04

Sorry to hear AF arrived.

Positive vibes to you for this month.

I have to say I would love to conceive in September, October or November as I'd love a summer baby. Blush

ThreeGoMad · 04/09/2013 13:37

Thanks two - AF arrived in the small hours last night so put me out of my misery and avoided wasting another test too :) At least I'm relieved to know what's going on, so that's taken the edge off the disappointment a bit.

Good luck 2lil

TwoCrazyKids · 04/09/2013 11:30

Oh threegomad you must be going insane! I really hope your just testing too early. Xxx

2lilgirls · 04/09/2013 09:56

I'm sort of the same. I think I'm around cd20 and not even sure if I ov'd this month, my opk's didn't arrive in time so I may have missed my positive and have decided not to waste them so keeping them for next month. Cycles can be long for me so it's hard to know Sad

Hope you know one way or the other v soon Smile

ThreeGoMad · 03/09/2013 23:54

Not even certain that I did OV, will chart next month though DS still wakes me up a fair amount :( Got loads of EWCM on CD17, so assumed it was then - would make sense for AF therefore to be 3 days later than usual.

Got a Tesco test for the morning if still nothing. 99% sure it's a BFN but bit fed up of being in limbo and just want to crack on with the next cycle now.

2lilgirls · 03/09/2013 11:44

Oh that must be torture ThreeGoMad - can you not get a first response or tesco test? They are apparently very good. I know 2 strong pink lines on FR last time when I had shadows on Internet cheapie strips.

Are you certain of when you ov'd?

Best of luck MiniWilson3, hope it happens as quickly again and what a lovely age gap you'll have, fingers crossed.

ThreeGoMad · 03/09/2013 08:53

Hello Wilson Smile

CD31 here (prev 4 cycles were 27-28 days). No AF (yet - FF reckons today but usually arrives first thing). BFN according to Sainsbo test treated myself to and ebay cheapie just in case Blush Fed up now!

MiniWilson3 · 01/09/2013 15:11

We've gone mad too, have 2 dd, one 6.5, the other about to turn 8...
Now we're both feeling our biological clocks ticking (I turn 32 this year) and missing our babies being babies. We know we're insane but can't help it! !It's just like the desperation I felt when I HAD to get pregnant with no1! I hope I fall preg quickly (just came off my pill, both previous ones where shall-we-have-a-baby-whoops-I'm-pregnant ones, I was even still on the pill with no.2!).

TwoCrazyKids · 01/09/2013 13:21

I had really sore nipples just before bfp! I'd get shooting pains randomly. Hope this is it for you!!!

ThreeGoMad · 01/09/2013 13:04

Thanks - might get some in.

I do have an incredibly sore nipple Blush - sure I'd remember if that was a normal symptom of AF!

TwoCrazyKids · 01/09/2013 12:50

three the internet cheapies are very sensitive but I've had a few evaps from them in the past. IMO, the first response are the best for giving an accurate result. Best of luck!!!!!!
