Hi Mips,

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I myself had one on 28th April, so know what you are going through. It's always difficult for any of us to say what is going on in our own bodies, let alone someone elses. All i can say is that every pregnancy is different (we can both say that now cos we've already been through pregnancy before - i have a 4 year old) and we both know that all sorts of wonderful miracles, strange occurences and awful things have happened to many pregnant women. I sincerely hope you are pregnant, and if not, will go on to have a healthy pregnancy and another baby very soon. Good luck!

Hi...first time I posted. i had a miscarriage on the 20th May. I had my first AF on the 12th June, after 23 days.i am usually around a 25/26 day cycle. My husband and I thought we would wait another month before ttc again. However, we had sex only once on holiday! that was 6 days ago. Today i have cramps and two little drops of red blood. Could it be implantation?
I have a ds who is 3 and can't remember having this last time. i had cramps around ovulation but no blood.
Any advice? Or am i just wishful thinking?
Mips xxx

Hey Wrighty, what's happening? My af arrived this morning - nice! So, I will be on the Positive July thread from now on. See you there? xx

Sexonlegs · 16/06/2006 10:39

God, you were up early!
It is all such a nightmare isn't it.
I thought my af was on its way, but had no spotting since yesterday. Feel quite ratty though, which is usually a sure sign.
Anyway, I will try my hardest, and we WILL become cyber birthing partners!!

wright4845 · 16/06/2006 06:46

IT SO HORRIBLE ISN'T IT! THINK AF IS ON WAY TOO. CAN FEEL RUMBLES. I'M RELYING ON YOU NOW. I WANNA BE YOUR CYBER BIRTHING PARTNER. LOL

Wrighty, I am sorry to hear the news. Has your af arrived? It may be that it is just too soon to test still. Will you try in a few days time?
Fingers crossed whatever happens and whatever you decide.
I am pretty sure my af is starting - due Sunday, but spotting on and off for the last few days.
I am certainly not holding my breath!!

wright4845 · 15/06/2006 22:11

thank you! got evrything crossed for you too. Com on, give me some hope!

Wrighty, I am so sorry. It's absolutely heartbreaking when you only get the one line on the test. I am due Sunday and will no doubt be posting when I get a BFN as well. Fingers crossed for your April baby - my DD was born in April, and it is lovely having a summer baby. Lovely having ANY baby of course though Smile.

Take care.

wright4845 · 15/06/2006 21:49

i ignored everyones advice (even my own) and tested and it was negative . gutted but at least now I know. Gonna try not be so worked up about it next time. Not goona try til month after next now because i'll hold out for April baby at least so i qualify for 9 months statutory maternity pay. If i try next month, will just miss it!

Oh I see Rubles! Apologies! Mind you, do you not find it gets a bit mechanical when you are ttc? Not you personally, but out there in general ladies? I know my sil did!

rubles · 14/06/2006 20:11

Sexonlegs no!! I just meant I hate the waiting and not knowing and obsessing and then the disappointment and then starting all over again...and round and round and round..

Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 18:41

It's hellish waiting I know, but it would be best to hold out. I will keep everything crossed for you - let us know how you get on. xx

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 18:35

Not sure exactly as last af was 33 days but was first one not pill induced but my 28th day would be Friday. i had read that early tests can read positive and for whatever reason (natural selection) AF can still come which would be devastating. I'm away camping at the weekend so not best envirnment to test in. Could wait til saturday though and do in toilet block, wouldn't kill me. Think I'll take your advice. i know it's better idea deep down. SIGH!

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 14/06/2006 18:32

wright4845 if I were you I would wait for at least 5 days, as hcg doesn't start to be produced until implantation has occurred and generally it's recommended that you wait until 5 days after implantation in order to get an accurate result. Personally I'd wait for as long as possible, but I've had very bad experiences so I'm now very scinical :O

Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 18:26

When is your af due? I would hold out until the day it is due or a day or two after to be honest. So, no more bleeding? Fingers crossed for you hun. xx

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 18:08

so glad you weren't offended. was worried! gonna do hpt tomorrow morning very early. It'll be negative though. do you think i'm mad? should i wait?

Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 17:31

Hi wrighty, no offence taken at all. I know I am extremely lucky to have 1 dd already, as I know there are many out there who are unable.
Rubles, you made me laugh - do you mean you don't enjoy sex!?
I heard something on the radio today that said that 50% of woman would rather go on a shopping spree! Couldn't possibly comment!!!!

rubles · 14/06/2006 15:36

LOL, I think it's only exciting in retrospect then it's over and you have the two lines on an hpt Grin.

I haaaaate it!!
