I came off Cerazette almost 4 weeks ago to TTC #4. However over the last week I have had every early pregnancy symptom going. AF still hasn't arrived which was due today so I did a test which was BFN :-( I just feel so rotten and know it's down to coming off this pill......Has anyone else suffered after coming off the pill?

ItalianWiking84 · 07/08/2013 10:25

ArkadyRose Thank you :) Still new to all these terms and does not make it easier when I am still not even fluent in English :(

ZingWidge · 07/08/2013 10:10

oh and call me Zing

we are going for Baby number 7 btw!

congrats kitty and good luck everyone!

ZingWidge · 07/08/2013 10:05

can I join?

I had an MMR jab in May so wasn't allowed to TTC for 3 months, but DH was against having another baby anyway.

But last night he dropped a bombshell that he changed his mind! he'd be still happy to stop, but now he's ok to go for it, if that's what I really want.

I do. I really want more kids. and it has to be a proper joint decision and we have to talk more (I'm in shock!), but basically I think we will be TTC this month, as soon as AF is gone!

I can't believe it! so happy!Smile

Italian It stands for Internet Cheapie - the thin dipstick tests you can get off ebay or via Amazon for something like £1 for 10.

ArkadyRose · 07/08/2013 09:53

Congrats, Kitty!

ItalianWiking84 · 07/08/2013 09:22

KittyKK What is an IC test please?

KittyKK · 07/08/2013 06:37

So I started POAS early....no willpower lol! After 2 days of BFN (Sunday & Monday), I got my BFP yesterday (Tuesday) on 10/11 DPO.

Just wanted to share, as I was using IC tests and it took a full 10 mins to see the +ve result....very nearly put it in the bin before seeing the 2nd line!

Lots of TTC luck ladies x

Crownjewel · 01/08/2013 22:58

Best of luck arkadyrose - fingers crossed for you x

We're ttc at the moment and hoping for an August bfp. It will be his 2nd, my 4th - DD1 is 20, DD2 is 18, their dad died nearly 7 years ago. DP & I have a 6-year-old DD together. We'd talked about having more, but after consecutive mc in September and Jan (my 3rd & 4th mc) we'd planned to leave it until next year. The GP thinks I may be perimenopausal though (I'm 40, he's 46) so with time definitely not on our side we decided best to crack on now. I'm on CD10 and today is 2DPO - been frantically dtd daily since Sunday and now we're into the 2ww.

I tried ALL my best tricks on DP and has he taken any notice?? Not when he needs to be awake at 4:30 Grin

How long did it take with your first DC's those on #2/#3??

ItalianWiking84 · 31/07/2013 23:04

I am trying to use those conception tests at the moment but so fare no lines or else I don't read them as I should
My period been pretty precious since coming of the pill, have my period either the 17th or 18th in the months so according to the web tools I should be fertile now but tests shows nothing :( still hoping tho and being active in the bed, but can't just switch the mood on automatically so doing it a couple a times a week and hoping for the best
Any tricks you have that works?

CityGal29 · 31/07/2013 22:56

Hey ELR I'm
Trying for 3rd too.. I have DD b. 2009- and DS b.2011. Had 2 miscarriages early on in 2008 Grin

ItalianWiking84 · 31/07/2013 22:50

Thanks, just noticed my spelling mistake, I take vitamin C, sorry for that :(

ELR · 31/07/2013 22:37

Good luck hayley!

justhayley · 31/07/2013 22:10

Hiya I am Grin
My periods are really irregular but I seem to Ovulate around the 3rd of each month regardless.
My DP is in the Military and on 3 weeks leave from tomorrow - we've wanted to conceive for months and months but he's always away when I'm fertile. This month we may just be in the same place at he right time Grin. Really need to conceive this month as after his 3 weeks leave he's being posted abroad for 2 1/2 months and I really don't want to wait till he gets back to try again Hmm
Will be trying for number 2.
Our DS1 is 15 months

ELR · 31/07/2013 22:08

Hi italian I have just checked on NHS direct and it says that you should not take vitamin A if pregnant as it could be harmful to your baby. If I was you I would check with your doctor. Obviously I don't know your medical history so there ay be a perfectly good reason why you take it, in which case ignore me! Good luck this month to everyone I have just started my period today so in a week or so I will be officially trying!!

coco808 · 31/07/2013 21:44

thank you!

VJONES1985 · 31/07/2013 21:43

Pregnacare everyday.

coco808 · 31/07/2013 21:37

Such a lovely bunch of people! I don't feel so alone in my anxiety now. Yeah jaykay987, first month trying and already the pressure is on. Most of my friends have children and none of them seemed to have been worried or anxious when they were trying.
Quick question- should I take the pregnacare everyday or only when I think I am ovulating? Thank you

Kirstoll · 31/07/2013 21:36

Hello! Can I join your club :) we've had 'the talk' for A while now and we are now officially TTC as of yesterday!
DD is 3 in October and I'm 25 in dec.... Fingers crossed for strong swimmers!!

ItalianWiking84 · 31/07/2013 20:44

Aha perhaps I should pop down to my tesco and get some

Can see they are also made for the men, any who has experience with them? :)
