Cups lovely hang on in there, I know it's tough, if you do want to test I would do it either 14 or 15 days past egg collection. I was quite convinced it hadn't worked this last time because I had no symptoms so you really can't tell! Lots of brooking for you!

Beedle lovely to see you around too. Has AF turned up yet? Hope you're doing ok.

Geek welcome back.

Nurse lots of brooking for you too if you're testing this weekend.

Kitty have started your iui now? With reference to acupuncture, I did it for a few months and it did make a difference to my period as it was light, but I'd say the main benefit for me was relaxation and a chance to off load on someone else. I dod it all the way through my first ivf except during the 2ww as my acupuncturist doesn't recommend unless it's to relieve any symptoms. This time around for my ivf I only did the before and after transfer as they do say that helps.

Big waves to everyone else....

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 14:17

Geek it's so lovely to see you. We miss you so much. Have a pint for me. Hope you're having a lovely day x

ControlGeek · 09/08/2013 14:10

cups lovely I had no idea you were so far through your ivf. I'm so sorry I've not been here to hold your hand through it. Time moves a lot faster outside the fred, I swear it does. If you haven't been testing out your trigger with frers, then I would say don't test before 15 dptrigger. Frer are far and away the most sensitive. I tested pos on 11, 12 and 13 dptrigger and the nurse said it's not unheard of for the trigger to hang around that long, but that it could also be a failed implantation. Without testing out with frer, there ws no way of knowing. Oh it's so hard, this waiting malarky, lovely, but you will get your bfp! You are pupo with two, which gives you double the chance. (((Hugs))) have to go, am in the pub with mrg and he is giving me death stares for being on my mobile for so long xxx

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 09/08/2013 12:02

Nurse I like your style, you tell him!!! Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 11:06

Good for you Nurse, it's good to lay down the ground rules Grin

nearlyanurse · 09/08/2013 10:43

Am ok cups, hope ur doing ok. Am down with mr nurse over the weekend so will probably do a sneaky poas just in case. I briefed him up last night that if I'm not preggers now, from the day I move down we'll be getting jiggy at least every other day, whether he likes it or not. His comeback was "you do know that's rape, right?" don't bloody care

Am interested in the sound of acupuncture. I've had it in the past for injuries, and liked the results. Will try to find someone once I'm settled aswell as finding a hairdresser and beautician.

Maybe we need to leave out some half finished spread sheets, she wouldn't be able to resist Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 10:02

I also miss lovely Geek

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 09/08/2013 09:48

Cups, I believe the trigger should be gone by now, but remember what happened to Geek, hers did linger a bit :( :(

keepitgoing · 09/08/2013 09:39

I agree, 10 days for trigger to go cups.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/08/2013 09:16

Morning lovely brookers, sorry for the incommunicado, have been up north with work and had no reception!

Cups I too swung from one to the other. It's the worst 2ww ever. You know you've had an embie put back, which I think makes it more of a head fuck. They say trigger takes 10 days, then it should be gone. I tested on my own. I think I just felt I could get my head around it first, then tell MrM. If that makes sense?

Kitty, you have to be comfortable with whoever will be doing it. MrM and I went for a few months last year. It's relaxing definitely. But we didn't see any effects. But sometimes it's worth it simply to relax.

It doesn't really hurt Pen. Some of the sensitive bits are uncomfy, and it also turned out I was a bit allergic to the needles Grin

How is everyone doing?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 09/08/2013 08:20

Morning Brookers

Yep one day closer, it still feels like an age away. I'm swinging between complete desperation that its not worked to silly pregnant fantasies. It's mainly desperation though to be honest.

I'm 7dp3dt, I've still not decided when to test. DH and I can not find a single day together to do it.

Anyone know how long it takes for the trigger shot to be completely gone. I'm 12 days past it now.

Kitty good luck with the search for an acupuncturist. Mine did know about fertility which is why I picked her over the only other one in my area! But she is really quiet and I have to do all the talking which is a bit annoying. Are you getting excited?

Nurse how are you doing?

keepitgoing · 09/08/2013 07:51

Good call kitty, if you're gonna pay it might as well be someone who knows something!

One day closer, cups and nurse.

BlindKitty · 09/08/2013 06:20

keep one called me back last night but she'd never even heard of iui so I decided against her. So many seem to be men in my area but I'd much prefer a woman!

cups how you doing bud? X

keepitgoing · 08/08/2013 09:22

Make sure your acupuncturist knows about fertility. I went to one who seemed good but wouldn't do anything in the tww, which is when its meant to impact.

keepitgoing · 08/08/2013 09:21

Ooh I meant to say to kitty that maybe was right, I did have my first iui cancelled because of clomid. But not because of overstimming but because it made my lining v thin, a recognised side effect. The following month I took a different drug which didn't affect the lining.

ThedementedPenguin · 08/08/2013 09:18

I take a day off the thread to help my sister and I miss lots so will try and catch up.

keep I'm glad you got the clomid sorted out, hopefully now you won't lose a go. Although that's a bit unfair if you overstim due to, too much clomid you lose a go.

Beedle any sign of AF?

cups how are you feeling?

Is acupuncture sore? Oh I can't imagine doing it.

BlindKitty · 08/08/2013 06:01

Well there's 'some' evidence that it can help with fertility, especially ivf and probably iui. I was really skeptical at first but after my one session so far I did feel extremely relaxed so will start again with it I think

nearlyanurse · 07/08/2013 23:10

What's the score re: accupuncture??? want some pronto
