Clomid success rates

Cazweiner - so sorry that another month has passed you by. You poor thing - I hope that you and your OH can take lots of care of yourselves this weekend and not have too many "what ifs".

I've finished my course of Clomid, so just heading into BD season. I haven't slept well though - hot flushes in the middle of the night and very thirsty..

got my period today there goes another month wasted!
It just get's harder and harder to cope with my OH is really great and understanding but i know he's just as upset as me.
I should be nearly 27 weeks pregnant by now and buying baby clothes and getting ready to leave work but instead i'm wasting money on test's and vitemins that don't work .

This is probably TMI but I have to know if other poeple are experiencing the same problem and if they have any suggestions to help!
We're finding that when it's the right time of the month to try and it's during the week my DH has problems maintaining an erection and we don't manage to BD
It's really frustrating and I don't know what to do other than pin hopes on IVF

cazweiner - i know how it easy it is to get yourself down. trust me, i know people that took them 6 yrs! And others that took longer than that!

It's still early for me in my TTC journey, but I know it's not easy no matter how long you've been trying. Chin up...let me know how it goes.

I'm anxious for my scan tomorrow.

I just feel that if it has not worked after 4 years it's not gonna??!!
And your right it is like everyone around me is having babies too like my sister in-law who has just had twins and they are her 6th and 7th kids!!!!!

Hello all! I've been reading all of your stories and am inspired and hopeful. I finished my first round of Clomid this cycle (days 5-9). I'm currently on CD13 and gearing up for my baby dancing week! I go for an US on CD15...hopefully I'll have a big fat follie.

cazweiner - I know it's hard but please don't give up! We all shouldn't give up...we have to believe we will be parents soon, god willing.

Everyone around me seems to be pregnant and no one can relate. It feels good to talk to someone. Good luck to you all.

How's everyone getting?
I started to have pains yesterday but know show yet but i just know it will be here any day!
I don't think i will try anymore after this cycle it's just all too much i can't cope with the pain of it anymore.

goodluck wantababy hopefully it will work for you because a lot of my friends have been through ivf and have said it is a very tough process!

Don't panic too much about twins it's not a definate but is hieghtened if there is a history of twins in your family.

With the clomid i only got bad hot flushes but no mood swings!!!

I didn't get mood swings just really bad hot flushes!!

A friend of mine took clomid years ago and only had a sigle pregnancy so the twins thing is not a definate but if you have any twins in your family like i do your chances go up!!

Hello there. I'm just about to start my first round of Clomid - 50mg, Days 2-6. Has anyone used any complimentary therapies successfully to relieve the mood swings?

Also, OH is a bit concerned about twins. Clearly no point in counting chickens before they're even conceived, but there don't seem to be any mentioned on this very long thread. Are the risks overstated?

Good luck Sweetx and Cazweiner - looks like it may just be us 3 this month. Is that a sign that people have being successful over Christmas? :)

Me and my partner have been TTC for nearly 4 years now!
I've got endometriosis which was only diagnosed in july this year i then went on to get pregnant that month but lost it the day after i found out!

I'm now on my 3rd cycle of clomid and had a scan tuesday this week and had 2 large follicles and a thick lining on my womb!

The painter and decorators are due on the 27th of this month let's just hope it works this month!!

hey ladies....

i had endometriosis 9 years ago when I was 16 and had to op's to have it lasered, my partner has had seaman analyisi test and all is normal... I am on my 1st cycle of clomid where I am now on day 11, had an internal scan this morning, the nurse said I have a large folicle there and gotta go back a week monday to see if i have ovulated...fingers crossed.xx

p.s. my mate is pregnant on her 3rd cycle of clomid so there is hope for us all xxx

I've never been on stuff like this before, but i have just been diagnosed with PCOS but ttc too, I came off the pill 3months ago and havent had a period since, doctor has said he will put me on chlomid, could someone please tell me do i need to have a period for it to work?

Not posted on here for ages...house extension going on and everything is upside down!!

Not been able to do any naugty business for the last 5 weeks after my colposcopy but back on the case now, just waiting for my next period which is due in the next week to start next round of clomid. Kind of think I will "try" and forget it this time and just see how we go!

Anyway keep you posted and fingers crossed for all.

PS. Weddingbell, not gained weight but YES to the mega hot flushes and "slightly" moody!

I am now on round 3 of clomid. I'm really hoping that this month is the month!!

The hot flushes I get at work are just horrific. I 'm on 100mg and have been for the last 2 rounds.

Well ladies! hope your all ok! Aunt Flo is due on Saturday and i am expecting it this month! After all it is only my 2nd round of clomid and i definately do not expect to be pregnant! Thats positive thinking for you! i just know if i convince myself i am and i'm not i will be depressed again! Plus because this month i was not checked at the begining ffor any grwoth i do not know if i have even oovulated this month! I didnt feel like anyway like i did the first month!.

Yet again everywhere i look i see babies and hear about being pregnant! some of my friends are due soon or have had them aswell so i bet you can imagine how i feel about that!

I go back to the infertility clinic on Tuesday as i will have used my 3rd course of clomid of 50mg. So expecting that they will increase the dosage! Going to ask them if they will give me an internal though as i have had a lot of pain down my right side when doing the Baby Dancing and when we are not, so i am thinking this may be something to do with the cycst i have on my tube! .

Well thought i would post as not been on here for a couple of weeks because it stops me stressing about it as much!
