Does anyone know what is the first CD day you can do a pregnancy test and it will read ok? I'm normally a 28 day cycle.

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 23:32

Hi Nicki I burped alot at the start of my pregnancy with dd! However I'm burping a lot just now as well but way too early to be a symptom (not even sure I'm ovulating) so in my case it must just be wind

Also found I spat on people when I talked to them last time so there's another symptom to look out for!

I am in Winnipeg SOL, great summers (mosquitoes iside) but terrible winters!

Nicki10 · 16/07/2006 21:02

Congratulations Wannabump.

Does anyone know is burping a sign of pregnancy? Just looking for signs really but I'm never windy and recently I haven't been able to stop burping! Also need the loo all the time and have a sore throat and cold which I have heard is often a sign!

Sexonlegs · 16/07/2006 20:58

Bobblehead, lol re comment about sex. Where in Canada are you?
Hi Pinkranger, how is it all going?

pinkranger · 16/07/2006 20:39

Congratulations wannabump - you'll have to be gottabump now!

I'm so pleased for you, well done!

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 18:08

I wouldn't give up hope yet SOL sounds fairly promising to me, unless this is your usual af pattern that is...

Canada is very hot right now, we're 30+ most days, but have great aircon so not a prob. I've also discovered these great "wading" pools for the kids run by the city, so they are free but have a lifeguard on duty at all times. The water is only knee deep so great for dd and great for me to cool off!

Funny how when you're young the only thing that puts you off sex is getting pregnant, then as you get older its the only reason you want to have it!

Beccy1974 · 16/07/2006 18:07

Congratulation Wannabump, isn't it such a magical moment when you get that line!

I still have almost 2weeks to go before can test. Am not expecting much because I haven't noticed any signs of ov this month- but fingers crossed!

Sexonlegs · 16/07/2006 17:27

Oh Wannabump, that is wonderful news - I amreally pleased for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Hi Bobblehead, how is Canada? I think it is af. TMI alert.....
had some blood this am - proper red, but nothing since. Don't have any cramps or anything, but tbh not actually due until Wednesday or Thursday.
Pretty sure though there will be no bfp for me this month. So frustrating after hours of bdíng!!
I think what makes it worse though is the fact that dd was conceived in month 1, and assumed it would happen second time around sooo easily.
Hey ho.
Fingers crossed for everyone else. xx

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 17:26

Congrats Wannabump! (you'll need a name change soon).

You obviously didn't see my attempt at babydust further down- now that was crap!

Natty1806 · 16/07/2006 17:15

Excellent news

Big congrats and hope all goes well.

Best wishes x

wannabump2006 · 16/07/2006 16:56

Well ladies,am surprisingly calm but.....got my BFP this morning!!!!!!!....can not believe it,but it seems that DH knows my body better than i do!,and the dischargy stuff i had is completely normal apparently(and dh swore i have had it b4 when preg).x
I know i haven't been here long, but i really do wish everyone lots of luck for either the rest of this month or for august!!!(i truely mean that),i know that for many of you it is a long and frustrating road to getting pregnant, but i know that you will all get there in the end......
I hoping that this will be a healthy and successful pregnancy and that i wil finally get to have the baby i've longed for after my loses.x

So to all you lovely girlies i send you all my love and luck for the months to come(i will keep checking to see if anyone else gets their bfp!).......(soz!am really crap at babydust!!)...
take care,.x.x.x.x.x

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 14:52

So how many of us left on here now? I have to wait for another 2 weeks until I can test (thats if I hold out until af is late)

SOL definately af? I was sure it'd happen to you this month....

Wrighty that is so frustrating, I really hope af comes for you soon, or you get pg of course!!!

wright4845 · 16/07/2006 11:06

Morning!
lol at hen night story. Couldn't agree more was in trendy bar last night breathing in trying to look marginally good next to waif like 17 year olds and just wanted to go home and put my pj's and big knickers on.
Thanks for advice natty. That's exactly what I'm gonna do. Never expected ttc to be so hard. Going to a wedding next week and fully expected to be pregnant at it. How Niave. have a good sunday everyone. xx

Sexonlegs · 16/07/2006 09:57

Morning all and hope everyone is well.
The hen night was a laugh, but I am way too old for clubbing - it was soooo noisy, soooo hot and full of ugly men!
Anyway, it's time to say goodbye to the positive July thread, as af arrived this morning- what a b*tch, so I will be hopping to August and keeping my fingers crossed for all of you here.
Hopefuly won't see any of you on the August thread (in the nicest possible way!).
Have a good Sunday. xx

coggy · 15/07/2006 23:00

Decaf...that is so true....it is such an addiction that you don't believe a neg test until you've used them all up!!! So, so true!!!!

Natty...I quite like being checked up on!! It really made me laugh about the third test lurking in my drawer!!! I will not use that one 'til Tuesday...promise!!!

SOL....hope you are having a fab time at the moment wherever your hen night may be!!
DH and I have just come back form the cinema and felt old coming home from town as all the 'youngsetrs!!' where coming out - including a few hen-nighters!!!
Slippers and pipe here we come!!!

BooBoo....hanging in.......I am!!
CD30 today which wouldn't be so bad on a fairly regular 28 cycle EXCEPT that last month was on 25 days...so this is even more painful waiting!!!

bobblehead · 15/07/2006 21:34

Sorry for that Decaf girl.

I'm fed up with people asking when we are having another. I started handing out way tmi for anyone aking- telling them how my periods hadn't restarted after btreastfeeding, etc and how I don't have enough cm to be ovulating. That really shuts them up and I'm sure they're too horrified to even think of your reproductive cycle again!

decafgirl · 15/07/2006 19:54

Hi guys, I got a BFN this morning

It's my own stupid fault for getting my hopes up but things really felt different this time. Never mind, I think I'll book a holiday to cheer myself up! That was the deal with DH so we've got something else to look forward to.

I know it's silly but there's still a part of me that thinks if af doesn't arrive by wednesday I'll do another test then - I can't let myself believe it's neg until all the tests in the house are gone!

All our family keep asking if we're thinking of having kids yet and we keep saying 'no, not yet' blah blah blah but it's a killer!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend xxxx

Booboobedoo · 15/07/2006 19:43

's not over yet coggy - hang on in there (not that you've got any choice, I know).

Natty - fingers crossed...

Sexonlegs · 15/07/2006 17:04

Natty, you are so restrained not to be testing - how do you manage it!!
Good luck when you do, and let us all know!
Wannabump, fingers crossed for you. Dh has had the cricket on all afternoon - I feel like throwing the TV out of the patio doors. He has become ike a zombie - I ask him something and he doesn't answer. As boring as the criket!!!!
Really must go and shave my pits and legs!! Might even pull tonight... only kidding!

wannabump2006 · 15/07/2006 16:38

SOL:hope you have a fab night 2nite!!(and that you'll be able to relax and perhaps have alittle tipple!!?).....Coggy:Aaah hun!,its sooo hard not to test!I'm finding it mega hard not to give in!Especially as now that patchy stuff has completely gone!!??Dh rekons that i had it before when preg(not that i can remember cos i didn't test till about 6 weeks in that preg!).....and he thinks i am but keeps telling me to be patient atleast for another day(men huh!?)...and like yours SOL hes watching that bloody cricket!!(snore, snore!).x
