Spillage has also become one of my favourite words and topics, we have also talked about making millions by inventing a fanny plug to stop spillage! What do you reckon girls a money earner!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 21:21

LOL Nicki, good job it was love

coggy · 17/07/2006 21:20

This thread is so funny.......I should have left.....think I may hang around for a while tho!!

Beccy1974 · 17/07/2006 21:19

omg a leg prop device... imagine telling people what you do for a job if you work somewhere making those

that sofa will have a blue plaque before too long

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 21:18

Bobblehead PMSL because I had a similar but worse experience with my DP when we first got together.

We were in Truro in a B&B and we got a bit over excited and all of a sudden all this air started coming and MY GOD did it come out it didn't stop DP kept laughing and saying he thought I was going to take off. We had only been going out 6 months but were still together!

coggy · 17/07/2006 21:15

Bobblehead!!!!!!!!

coggy · 17/07/2006 21:14

SOH - CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!!
I LOL at your photo of the pg test!!!!

I also PMSL at the request of tips on how to successfully get out of doggy without serious leakage!!!
I am so glad I am not the only one who thinks about these things!!!!!!
The kicking the dh, yes, that is also a problem for me!! Never mind trying to get over without doing a serious beached whale impression and trying not to laugh because that just shoots out the little necessaries even quicker!!!!

What happened to the chalk man road trip?
Are we getting the coach to the couch instead now??!!!!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 21:13

This is way way tmi but first time I tried the legs in the air (hauled into place by dh) I must have has a fair bit of trapped air up my bits. As I shifted position slightly I let rip a huge fanny fart and my prescious semen exploded out. Please tell me I'm not the only one?!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 21:10

Could have written that post myself Nicki! Thats why I'm so sure I'm not pg this month as any cm I did have seemed alot stickier than usual.
I have heard that some people just have less than others and it still counts as ewcm. Also sometimes you just don't see it. I think there was a little bit of info on the peeonastick website.

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 21:06

maybe a side ways roll like a dog

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 21:05

Also does anyone know whether it is possible to get pregnant if you've OV'd but did not have any CM. I normally do every month but this month there was nothing although I had all the OV pains which have now stopped after day 13.

I just invested in the Teri Weschler book and she says it's impossible to concieve without egg white CM! Just wanted to check with you all. Sorry Prob TMI

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 21:04

Any tips for getting from doggy to legs up without losing any sperm/kicky dh in the face?

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 21:03

It seems that this months lucky positions have been doggy with legs in the air after, thats what I'll be trying next month if I don't get a BFP!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 21:02

Beccy there is a device! There was a link to it on one of the past positive threads ( I did a lot of lurking while waiting for af to show up..). A sort of giant wedge of faom I think...

SOL maybe we should all take a turn on SOH's parent's sofa, it could be like that giant chalk man on the hillside that couples try to have sex on to conceive

Sexonlegs · 17/07/2006 20:55

Bobblehead, v witty. Can you imagine the shame of it!! Good on you SOH. I am just going to call my parents and see if we can come over for the night!!

Beccy1974 · 17/07/2006 20:53

lol @ telling parents. this legs in the air thing is getting to be a real trend isn't it. my DH has his funny ways (not into morning sex being one of the more annoying) but he's v accepting of it. goes off after we've been at it in this heat, gets dinner ready after passing me the remote so i can watch eastenders through my knees

before you know it someone will invent a special device, or something ornamental for us to rest legs on

what on earth would it be called tho!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 20:46

SOH I take it you meant dh told them about the pregnancy, not doing it on their sofa?

ShowOfHands · 17/07/2006 20:41

Hi all! DH is phoning his Grandma!

SOL, I think we've all done the self pity thing, or at least desperate longing, but believe me it's all worth it in the end.

Piffle- I'll see you in about 8 months on a 'does pineapple/curry/castor oil kickstart labour thread'. I'll head over to the Due in March thread when it has sunk in.

Bobblehead- I ovulate on the same day each cycle, have EWCM and a sharp pain on alternate sides each month for about 12hrs. I actually find ovulation more painful than AF. And I managed legs in the air for about 20 minutes before I felt like an utter tit and sloped off to get dressed.

Natty- I don't think my parents could handle coming in to see me doing that on their sofa. DH has phoned my parents and told them (I won't talk about it in RL until 12 weeks) and my Dad said 'you mean she isn't a virgin?'

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. I honestly wish you all the very best for this month, next month, whenever your time is. I'm as happy as larry whoever he is and if I could do baby dust I would send it now.

wannabump2006 · 17/07/2006 20:12

soz!! !!!!.x

wannabump2006 · 17/07/2006 20:11

Sexonlegs · 17/07/2006 20:06

SOH, many many congratulations. Chuffed to bits for you and have come over all of a quiver! Wishing you a really happy and healthy pregnancy.
Lol at the story of conception by the way - bloody hilarious!
Sooo jealous I really am. Bd's so much this month and all at the right times, had legs up in the air and everything and still no joy. Hey ho.
Sorry fell in to a pit of self pity there.
Lots of love to you hun. xx

Piffle · 17/07/2006 20:05

SOH FAB NEWS!!!!
Well done girlie!
Another legs akimbo BFP here too!
My ov date gives me the same edd as you btw
But from lmp my date edd is 23/3
You must cme to the march ante natal threadI did many bizarre things ttc this last month, thank God they worked!

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 19:59

Just out of curiosty, how did you know you were ovulating?
And how long did you keep your legs in the air for?

Natty1806 · 17/07/2006 19:55

LOL

i can just imagine your mum and dad's faces if they happen to pop back in with you on the floor with your legs in there.

Nice story to tell in years to come.

ShowOfHands · 17/07/2006 19:54

Aww thanks for the congrats. I am so happy and I couldn't possibly predict who's next, but I can say that I never bothered with ttc threads before, I just had a weird hunch that this one would be a lucky one. And it has been and I think it will continue to be so!

Did I give you enough info or do you need to know what DH was wearing and the colour of my parents' (my parents! the shame!) sofa too?

PS the answers are bugger all and blue in that order!
