Hi SOL. I know what you mean, before we started 'trying', we were lucky to bd once a month but its picked up now. Call me weird, but it can be a bit of a turn on ttc, especially when you're not worring about dates etc.

Hi ccl, this is the way me and dh are going to go this month, as there is too much stress on getting it on the right days etc. It is becoming too mechanical for my liking. Dh is happy to be getting it full stop!!

This will probably sound silly to all of you, and probably v. naive on my part, but I am just taking each day as it comes and not stressing over dates and things. This means I now enjoy bding as I am more relaxed and spontaneous than when we were 'trying' ttc.

I'm actually hoping to get af now as on cd35 and really don't want to be having cycles any longer than that! I really really don't think I'm pg so not going to test for another week at least if no sign (who am I kidding- I have a drawer full of cheapo tests). I just hate that build up from the moment you decide to pee on a stick until the 3 mins after when if its neg you're whole mood for the day is ruined (even if you knew it would be neg!).
I also think I ov around cd21 if I ov at all this cycle, so its nice to know a few of us do and as Pinkranger says, doesn't mean its too late!

i'm not weeing on the sticks anymore as i just dont' u'stand them. i've had four sets of the 2 identical darkness lines in my first month of using them. so i'm none the wiser.

I have to say I kind of agree with you HC re the ov sticks. I have decided not to use them any more and just bd every other day from when af stops! Otherwise you spend so much time and energy obsessing about dates and making sure you bd at exactly the right time/date that it takes the pleasure away from it somewhat.
So, let's just keep at it ladies!

Afternoon all. Was on ebay last night, and there is a shop on there called tk diagnostics. They sell really cheap pg tests and ovulation testing kits. They post them to you first class when they receive your payment. Just hope they are not rubbish ones!!

My cycles since coming off the pill were, 48, 47, 46, 70, 56 and last one todate has been 35 (yipee)

I went to the doctors in march for this and he said anything over 42 days ment i was not ovulating. Since then i have had a few blood tests which confirmed this and DP had his test, he was fine and i am now on the waiting list for the fertility clinic. Hoping they will give me clomid.

Am not saying this is the same for you, but maybe you should get it checked out.

Hello, I'm joining over here now from the June thread. AF hasn't arrived yet but I'm having pains so she must be on her way. CD43 today so if AF arrives on thurs as planned (well, expected) I should be due to ov around the 20th of July, sigh, that's ages away! DH is desperate for me to see the gp about my long cycles but I don't think there's anything they can do, is there?

No symptoms yet to speak of except chronic constipation (sorry) and huge mood swings over the weekend PMT styley. Poor DH.

I really think you lot should stop using those wee sticks - they're a total waste of time IMO. I never got a really strong line on one of them, and yet I know I'm OVing as I have regular tests at the hospital due to D's treatment.

Up to you, obviously, but I really feel you're causing yourselves alot of unnecessary stress.

i think you need more than 10 days for implation to happen.

Hi again. Pinkranger, according to the wee sticks, I ov'd late - CD19 maybe 20. Quite late isn't it. So they say there is still time for implantation to occur do they? I was worried about that too.
