Natty1806 · 23/06/2006 19:15

coggy - go on eat something.x

Hopecat - are i correct in thinking it is you DH who has a low count? If so he could ahve it done as i have read somewhere it can increase mobility and count. HTH

coggy · 23/06/2006 19:04

I am feeling faint........could it be pg even with AF or could it be the strangely massive lack of food/diet/twiglet effort??!!

Does a numb tongue mean anything??!!

Actually I'm getting over my yesterday's stupidity and now back in the real world of a new month ttc!!!

Hopecat · 23/06/2006 18:58

Think I will try acupuncture if we don't have any joy this month. I've never minded having needles stuck in me.

Will do some online investigation...

Natty1806 · 23/06/2006 16:45

Hi Hopecat -LOL glad i am not the only one thinking this if my next period does not arrive it will be due 28/03/07 LOL LOL.

think we will end up going private probably at the end of July, acupunture is going well so fingers crossed that will work.

Decafe - they will just ask you what your periods are like , were they irregular before you went on the pill etc, how long have you been off the pill, explain the first step is to have blood tests, one about 5 days after your period, and one about 2 weeks before your next period (however this was harder for me as i had no idea when the next one would be) i also had an internal done, but all's that was, was a lady doctor having a look up there and checking for anything obvious.

When all this was going on i think it must have stressed me out as my period was 70 days and even though theyhave been far apart never that far.

Or they might just say give it another 6 months and see what happens - that is what i was expecting but didn't get.

Let me know how you get on. x

decafgirl · 23/06/2006 15:36

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys, AF still hasn't shown up (CD46 now) but I've booked a gp appointment for Monday. What might they do?

If I haven't come on by then I'll test on Monday morning; obviously I enjoy this heartache!

Hopecat · 23/06/2006 12:46

Hey Natty - going private is a good idea if you can afford it and it will de-stress you.

I always do the due-date thing. If I get PG this month it would be due approx. March 7th 2007.

I could start a March ante-natal thread!

See? Am getting carried away again.

Natty1806 · 23/06/2006 11:34

Hi Hopecat

Thanks for your words of wisdom. Think i just need to remind myself that it may take another year or so, so try not to worry about it every month and work out due dates in my head ( am i the only nutter that does this )

Well keeping my fingers crossed for you. x

Am still waiting to hear from nhs hospital for an appointment, think it should be here in the next 3 weeks, and then god know when the appointment will be. But have decided that when it arrives if the appoinment is more that 8 weeks away i am going to book into a private one.

Doesn't look like i will be staying away just need to refocus, am going to focus on becoming a twiglet before i get preggers. LOL

x

Hopecat · 23/06/2006 10:40

Hey Natty. Only symptoms I have are snappiness, teariness and extreme tiredness. (Fell asleep on the sofa for 20 minutes at 8pm last night).

It's only CD23 so too early to say at this stage. Could just be tired cause it's midsummer and I'm not sleeping so well.

Thanks for saying you've got a good feeling about it. It makes me feel more positive, which relaxes me, which can only be good.

Take a break if you need to. I did that one month (just for a week) and it did help.

How's everyone else today?

Natty1806 · 23/06/2006 08:10

Have you got any symptoms Hopecat? Or is it too early?

I have a feeling you are going to be lucky this month.

Have not managed to Bd yet as i have been sooo tired. Have told OH to be in bed waiting for me when i get home from work today.

I think i might have to stop using this website as it is making me obsessed about ttc and think i might need a break.

Will have a think about this over the weekend. x

Beccy1974 · 22/06/2006 20:59

hi hopecat. have been gyming since last august as got married april. is fairly regular but i see a trainer once a week who likes to blitz me. always upping the levels etc. i'd tell her as soon as i knew (if fingers crossed we succeed) - but was just concerned about the one month and doing something which might just cause mc.

hang on in there with your willpower. if you don't test early neither will i.

fingers crossed :-)

Hopecat · 22/06/2006 20:54

Hi Becky. Re exercise: if it's something you do regularly then you should be fine.

If you're generally totaly sedentary and you start hopping everywhere then that would be less than ideal.

MCs at this stage are very common (if you are PG) and are rarely anything to do with external factors.

Probably a good idea to do those lunges - you'll be nice and strong ready to carry that big bump.

Beccy1974 · 22/06/2006 20:51

had a weird moment today at work; got to my desk and BAM - v. odd smell, v pungent, .. had 30 seconds kidding myself spidey sense of smell had hit me all of a sudden. but think it was something through the air conditioning.

hang on in there girls and i'm not even going to star thinking about being preg despite AF. had 31 days last time and on day 21 too - am banned from buying tests so just left to my little own devices.

one small q - anyone know if it's okay to do exactly the same as normal at the gym when ttc? or if i do run/lunges etc etc, could i risk anything that might just be trying to implant??

Hopecat · 22/06/2006 20:45

Hope AF stays away wright!

Coggy did you read that thread a while back when that girl asked if it was still possible to be PG even if AF arrived? All these people posted to say that they'd had what seemed like an AF when they fell PG (including Wannabe actually).

That thread was really bad for me! Kept hoping way past AF time!

Have just decided now that if AF arrives will treat her as such and not test unless I pass out in public 2 weeks later like Wannabe did.

wright4845 · 22/06/2006 20:14

cycle still messed up and last month had 33 day cyle. this month niavely thought it'd be 28 days (back to the text book normal as in) and bd'd from cd 12-20 (was exhausted) tested on CD 28 an CD 31 and got BFN but now am thinking well if i have 33 day cycle I'm now on day 34 so day 31 could have been too son to tell. Know I'm just dreaming but until af arrives, keep thinking. Gonna test tomorrow if still bfn gonna get bladdered tomorrow night and resign myself to the fact.

coggy · 22/06/2006 19:51

LOL
Why is that??!!!

wright4845 · 22/06/2006 19:48

Cheer up Coggy. Know what you mean tho, no matter how many BFN you get, you still think there's been a terrible mistake and you are pg.

coggy · 22/06/2006 19:43

I'm just being stupid basically!!!

I think it's becauase AF came early and I didn't get the 'test or not to test' build-up.
I reckon I'm having withdrawals and trying to persuade myself that I could still be pg even though I had AF.

I know I'm not of course but....
....going to enjoy the disaster that is Colin and Justin 'wedding arrangers' at eight!!!

Hopecat · 22/06/2006 19:39

Coggy: you sound like a woman in need of a rant to me.

Or perhaps some chocolate.

Hope you feel better soon x

coggy · 22/06/2006 19:11

I feel really tired and tearful. I feel really hungry, have sore boobs and lots of CM.

What CD?
About 5 or 6.
Why do I need to get a grip and stop thinking about pg symptoms?
What's wrong with me???!!!!

Hopecat · 22/06/2006 19:02

Sorry to hear about AF bobblehead

Natty - I'm due next Wednesday, but have gone up to 31 days in the past year, so potentially Saturday week.

Probably won't be able to control myself until then though.

Feel really tired and moody today. Grrr.

ruthlouise · 22/06/2006 18:58

Thanks for that Coggy. Think I might have dramatically reduced our chances this month if I did OV as early as I think I did. Bother, never mind there's always next month...Plus with my short cycles I might get a second chance for a positive in July if I'm still lucky

Natty1806 · 22/06/2006 14:05

Sorry about that Bobblehead, it is so hard not thinking about it day in day out.

Onto the next month of trying.

Me CD8 - starting to BD tonight.

bobblehead · 22/06/2006 12:43

AF came last night!!!!This means I prob did ov when I thought I did (and dh refused to bd) so I really hope that does mean my cycles are back to normal. Now just need to try and chill out a bit about the whole ttc lark. Visited a very pregnant aquaintence yesterday (overdue by a few days) which so made me want a bump! Maybe some of her babydust rubbed off on me...

mummy2jake · 22/06/2006 12:09
