Don't think I've even ov yet, so I'm way behind most of you. Have a 35 day cycle (the last one was anyway) so won't even be thinking about testing for ages! Hope someone gets a bfp soon

Piffle · 10/07/2006 13:19

I do not do symptoms either anymore
I know with all 3 pregnancies incl the ectopic (which was only 2 days after af was due)
I had very sharp burning sensations in my
(.)(.) but I notice I get quite noticeable niggles during 2ww so who knows!

Sexonlegs · 10/07/2006 12:29

Hi all, went to the GP today and asked about bleeding after ovulation, and he didn't seem concerned about it at all which was quite re-assuring. I think though if we still haven't conceived in the next few months will need to go back - I turn 36 on Wednesday, and I think they say give it 6 months don't they for us old bags!

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 12:08

Or should I say 'hand, foot and mouth' before somebody thinks I'm worried about contracting a bovine disease!

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 12:05

Hi Nicki10 and Nnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooo! I do not want foot and mouth. It is a cold. It is a cold. Repeated over and over ad nauseum. It was bad enough that at this party I went to yesterday, a little 4yr old had a nasty case of weeping impetigo. Somebody subtley suggested she shouldn't be there, and her mother said 'oh I've taken her to toddlers this week and really everybody gets it anyway.' Nice! Thought that might be the worst thing I could catch!

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 11:37

I don't do simptoms any mnore, because I've been through 13 months of having simptoms every month and them turning out to be the arrival of af. pg/af simptoms are actually so similar that imo it's not a good idea to look for them. having said that I opened a bottle of orange squash today and the smell of it made me feel sick, but not reading anything into it.

tryingtohard · 10/07/2006 11:24

anyone got any symtoms this month??

Nicki10 · 10/07/2006 10:12

Hi Showofhands

Really hoping this isn't what you have got but I had all those symptons with really sore ulcers all over my tongue and it turned out to be foot and mouth that I had picked up from one of my friends children. Here's hoping it's just a cold!.

I know and some one on the August thread has already had their BFP so maybe thats the secret if we should join both

Piffle · 10/07/2006 10:09

i'm checking in and saying hello, hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I'm 6dpo... loving the wait as usual [deeply sarcastic emoticon]
Nothing at all to report! Am temping have had temp jump today but we'll see...
How is everyone, any cycle buddies on today?

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 09:30

Morning all.

I'm on CD19 today (of a 27 day cycle). I've had a rotten weekend. I had food poisoning Friday and Saturday (at least I presume it was, I won't go into it, TMI and all that) and now I have an incredibly sore throat, swollen glands and ulcers ON MY TONGUE. What the heck has happened to me? I never get ill. I haven't had a cold for about four years. Although, I did spend yesterday with lots of children aged 11 weeks-7years. Cute and lovely, but I think one of the little so-and-sos has infected me with something.

Anyway, I hope everybody is well. I was fairly despondent to see the positive August thread already. Please make it so that at least a couple of us don't have to join it!!

Hope everybody is well out there...

desperate2bmum · 10/07/2006 09:24

lol i meant july...dont know why i put april (probably lager gone to my head)

Natty1806 · 10/07/2006 08:26

SOL - that does seem strange, no advice to give sorry, hopefully someone else on here can help.

Coggy - e-mail on [email protected] and i can give you my address and we can arrange for me to send you the CBFM.

Am on CD26 feel sticky this morning and have a few cramps which is a sign AF is due to arrive which will be early than expected (don't know why i use the word expected, i don't have regular cycles) CBFM has gone back to low fertility so no chance i did it this month - not effort + no ov = no baby

Good luck to everyone else - looks like there might be a few testing in a day or so.

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 08:16

sol def worth a trip to the gp. try not to worry, bleeding can happen for a number of reasons, and not all of them are serious, but go and see your gp to put your mind at rest

Sexonlegs · 10/07/2006 08:11

Morning all.
Sory going to rant again - turning in to the female equivalent of Victor Meldrew!
Fort he past few months, in fact since ttc, I have ov'd (according to the sticks and the pain), and then about 1 to 2 days later I start bleeding. It has happened again this morning and I am so peed off and quite concerned there is something wrong. TMI WARNING...
It isn't even brown discharge, it looks like proper af.
Do you think a trip to the GP??
Rant over, fingers crossed for everyone out there and have a lovely Monday. xx

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 07:44

morning all

cd23 here - going away for a week on Saturday so will have af while I'm away - grr.

Coggie do they only allow a certain amount of cycles of chlomid for medical reasons? or financial reasons?

coggy · 10/07/2006 07:25

Yes, CD25 for me but I am NOT getting excited as DH was away over the 'best' times and we haven't really bothered this month at all.
But fingers seriously crossed for everyone else here.
X

muminamini · 10/07/2006 06:47

Morning all!

I am up very early as I just could not sleep - woke at 5 am just thinking...I wonder if...
It's driving me demented, I wish I coudl just stop blinkin thinking about it!

DH and DS are snoring away upstairs bless them.

SOL - sorry to hear you are full of a cold still - major bummer, I found steam inhalations helped for me when trying to avoid using paracetamol etc. Why do you always seem to get these things when your not wanting to take anything.

I have allergic rhinitis and not taking my antihystamenes etc has been horrendous.

Coggy - you and I are very similar in cycle times...CD26 for me today (officially in the up to 4 days before your period is due First Response window!!!but I WILL RESIST!!!!)

Hope you all have a good day, looks like it's going to be a nice one (if only didn't have to work)

Much love and babydust and welcome to anyone new

x

coggy · 09/07/2006 23:24

Desperate2bmum - I pressume you mean 7th July??!!
If so, yes, CD3 for you...if, however you did mean 7th April....then I would need a CD calculator!!!

Yes, Natty, that sounds fine - are you going to give it another try next month tho'? I am quite happy to wait a month for it.
I thought they worked okay with clomid - the regular CB opk's say they're okay.....but, anyway, I've only got one more course of clomid allowed ......hope it works eh?!

CD24 for me so LOADS of us up at the same time this month - woohooo!!!

wannaBe1974 · 09/07/2006 22:03

hiya all

wg you may just be experiencing a strange cycle. apparently it's not uncommon just to skip a period sometimes, and imo there's nothing like deciding to ttc to bring on an iregular cycle, lol.
sol sorry to hear you're feeling down, although think of the cheap foreign holidays to come, .

Am on cd22 today. I was sure af was going to arrive yesterday as had crampy feelings down below bit like af cramps, but it didn't so I'm still here. I actually drempt last night that I'd got a bfp, was very realistic, I even woke up thinking ... OMG am I pregnant? then the realization dawned.

We've got quite a few nearing ends of cycles so hopefully there'll be some bfp's when I get back and join the august thread.

desperate2bmum · 09/07/2006 21:35

hiya girls, i am tolerating the football purely for my dps sake. i came on on the 7th april so i think i am on cd 3? is that correct? my cycles are usually 28 days however this is my first since m/c so things could be all over the place. what day is my most fertile any ideas as i am not clued up on this i just go with the flow and bd as much as possible.

Sexonlegs · 09/07/2006 21:22

Blimey, where is everyone? Watching the footie?
Well, CD20 today of a 30 day cycle, so in limbo. Only ov'd yesterday, and bd'd, so v early days. Still feel like pants with heavy cold etc. The joys.
Really emotional today, as had a party at my parents house for my brother, sister-in-law and their 4 children, as they are going to live abroad for 2/3 years. V sad, as I will miss them dreadfully.
Hey ho - at least with email, the World seems smaller.
Hope everyone is well. We need some bfp's on here don't we - limited so far this month!
Bring 'em on!
xx

muminamini · 09/07/2006 19:37

Hi all

After reading everyones messages about ov pains I think that must have been why I had the sore boobs as I remember at the same time getting a pain on my left side - it sounds like you were describing when the egg breaks through.

I am on CD 25 of 30 day cycle (and going sooooooooo slow)

Had a fab day atmy friends wedding yesterday, caught up with one friend who married for the second time last year (she already has a dd) and her and DH have been ttc since last April. She is 43 and he 42 but he had testicular cancer a couple of years back and they have had no luck. They have decided not to go for investigations and have decided what will be will be which I think is very brave.

decaf girl - hang on in there.

Who else is coming to the end of their cycle this week?

tryingtohard · 09/07/2006 19:08
