Looking for company! I'm 1dpo now (I think) and already feeling nauseous.

We're TTC#2, DD1 is 10 months, still bf so some luteal phase issues .

We hit all the right days with dtd I think so fingers crossed.

Anyone else?

I do on the other hand feel really really sick! Have done for about 2 days. And re peeing, I'm definitely not going that often but I am finding it really hard to keep in when I need to go! Not sure if that says anything...

pxmx · 19/07/2013 13:55

Hi Sleep not constipated (thankfully) just bloated. I dont have sore boobs either and i normally do (i think) around this time before af, so i'm hoping this is a good sign! Its so hard trying to remain sane but your all helping, just knowing its not just me is comforting :)

poopyisapig · 19/07/2013 13:44

Sleep - don't worry not everyone will get all symptoms. I know how hard it is. I am driving myself crazy!

FWIW, I am pissing like a racehorse too - but then I drink 4ltrs of water a day so I always do Grin

Not long until we all find out I guess.

sleepcrisis · 19/07/2013 13:42

Yes peeing lots defo a symptom. That's another symptom that I'm missing :(

pxmx · 19/07/2013 13:06

Also how could i forget the last few days ive been needing to pee constantly (just been reminded by needing to go AGAIN), i have a bladder the size of a peanut at the best of times but this is something else! Ive been getting up twice a night and peeing like a racehorse! Could this be a symptom this early? If it is i'm slightly afraid that i will be spending my whole pregnancy in or near a bathroom!!;)

sleepcrisis · 19/07/2013 13:01

Lots and lots of symptoms all round! I don't have sore boobs though and I did with 1st pg. but I only really remember them startin to hurt the day edited period was due so there's still time!

Pxmx - are you constipated? I was with 1st pg and remember feeling really bloated too - I think constipation is an early pg sign.

Not sure I can wait a whole week to text !

pxmx · 19/07/2013 11:29

Hi all re joining after a few days away have just caught up with all your posts and am so happy its not just me going through all this!! Doctor i wouldn't worry about 1 glass of wine i'm still drinking during the tww but only the odd glass when out to dinner etc, i think its hard enough the odd glass of wine wont hurt and will probably help you relax.I'm also due on thurs but not testing until sat (hopefully) although i do have tests and its taking all of my self control not to start peeing on them now!! I'm swinging from being full sure im preggers one miniute to, convinced i'm not the next this is by far the worst tww ive had:( My main symptom is bloating my stomach has literally blown up i'm convinced i even look preg! This is def new as i dont normally suffer this & i have not changed my diet at all, i'm just wondering has anyone that's been preg before had this as a symptom early on??

Doctorhappy · 19/07/2013 09:02

Sore boobs all round! Was definitely one of my earliest symptoms last time, before I even knew I was pregnant. I remember one of the main things I noticed last time days before I tested was the complete absence of cramps - normally I get bad period pains in the pays leading up to my period. I'm convinced I feel cramps today but period isn't due until wed so think I must be imagining it!
I really need to get my caffeine intake knocked on the head having read your posts - I'm still drinking two coffees a day and keep thinking I will give them up when I know I'm pregnant. I did this last time though and ended up with a terrible caffeine withdrawal headache for the first few days of knowing I was pregnant which spoilt it a bit! Today I'm just going to have one coffee...
Vikki fingers crossed you've already ovulated, might be an idea just to keep trying for a day or two more just to be safe?!

Vikkijayne2507 · 19/07/2013 08:52

Well I still haven't had a temperature rise hoping I will ov today dtd last night and 2 days in a row before that so I really hope im Oving today or my cycle is getting all over the place. I have really tight feeling sorta like cramps but not im hoping it's a sign of ov alongside sore boobs

Wildwaterfalls · 18/07/2013 21:11

Hurray for sore boobs Smile!

Abstaining from alcohol and caffeine here too, just being super cautious. I have actually been stressing about whether the heat, and all of the running after DD/pushing buggy in the sun can do any harm Confused! Promised myself I'd be more relaxed this time...

Oh, and my boobs are sore. Yey! (Ignoring the fact that they are this time every month)

Cupcake11 · 18/07/2013 20:03

Doctor - I'm not drinking during my two week waits but it's only because I'm such a worrier. I'm sure a glass of wine is absolutely fine - according to the NHS it is anyway. Ooo, I could just go for a cold glass of prossecco now!

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 19:58

SOrry Vikki, I didn't realise! I thought I read somewhere about people using ovulation testers as pregnancy testers.

Doctor - I am abstaining totally, but only because I am so paranoid after the MC. I haven't even had any tea for three months so I can avoid caffeine! A glass of wine won't hurt at all.

Vikkijayne2507 · 18/07/2013 19:30

Hi Poopy no it isnt it stands for Ovulation predictor kit, it means I am going to ovulate in the next day or so so I have to keep dtd I did it th elast two days as well. It monitors the surge of hormones before a egg is released, I wont know if ive been successful for another 12 days or so so mydates got a bit mixed up

Doctorhappy · 18/07/2013 19:23

Am really going to try and wait until I'm late - I'm due on thurs so have decided that I will test on Saturday if still no AF... I haven't got any tests at home so at least I don't have that temptation! This week before I'm due is always the hardest, so difficult not to obsess over every tiny sensation...
Have you guys all stopped drinking completely? We are going out for dinner on Saturday an would love a glass of prosecco or wine, is that bad?!

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 17:55

Cake I am going to try and wait until as close to next thur (when I'm due) as I can. I spent £60 on tests last time, we are going on holiday on the 27th, I'd rather have a couple of nice meals out!

Will poss test mon/tue though. I'll see how long before I crack.

Cupcake11 · 18/07/2013 17:07

AF is due on Monday but I don't know whether to wait until I'm actually late to test - are you ladies testing on the day AF is due or waiting until your late?

Poopy that sounds promising! I wish I was feeling something like that!

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 16:32

I've been having sharp pains on my left hand side today quite low down near my pelvic bone. They have been going on all day. Had these pains with the last pregnancy too, apparently they are implantation pains? The timing for them would be bang on.

Gah, all this symptom sotting is getting daft. I need to relax and forget for a bit! We have been invited to one of ds friends parents house for an end of term BBQ tomorrow night which will be lovely as we've not lived here long so I don't really know any of the parents yet, but I know there will be lots of drink to avoid as the dad is a wine merchant Grin. Will have to let dh have my quota just incase.

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 12:32

Viiki - is a pos on one of those an indication of pregnancy then??

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 12:32

Doctor - I keep thinking like that too.

The frustrating thing is, this is the perfect time for me to fall pregnant. Ds goes to his fathers house for 3 weeks august 12, so if something terrible were to happen at the same time as it did last time it would be then so I wouldn't have to worry about taking care of him. Also, by the time I have to do the school run again, I would be 10 weeks, so hopefully over the worst of the tiredness and I wouldn't be doing the 2 mile round trip everyday. I would also be 20 weeks just before his birthday, I'd never tell him before then as he is very sensitive and desperate for us to have a baby so I'd want to make sure all was fine first, so that would be perfect too.

And the baby would be due around dhs birthday.

Should really try and distract myself with work, this is getting out of hand now!

Vikkijayne2507 · 18/07/2013 12:06

Yay positive opk immediately

Doctorhappy · 18/07/2013 11:17

Cupcake - yes! Part of me feels certain I'm not, no idea why, but then I also keep letting myself think about certain events in the coming months and figure out "I'd be 12 weeks by then" etc. Trying really hard not to speculate too much though as I was really disappointed last month and it took me a good few days to pick myself up again! It's hard though, I really want dc1 and 2 to be close in age and with every month you see that gap growing... Anyway, glad I joined this thread, looking forward to all then testing next week and hoping for a few bfps!

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 10:36

The only thing I learned from all the testing last time is that the only tests that seem to work for me are first response. I won't be buying a clearblue conception indicator again - I bought two and they were both duffs! Nothing at all on my display. Clearblue sent me replacements but I had to wait a week and by then I knew for sure anyway.

poopyisapig · 18/07/2013 10:26

Wild - I kept going to the lol yesterday and thinking 'yay, another sign'. But then I remembered I drank 4 litres of water because I was so hot.

I am currently googling 'pregnancy tests 7 days before period is due'.

Fighting the urge to go to the chemist. Last time I spent a small fortune on tests, got a v v faint line 3 days before, only got a strong +v the day before I was due.

I was a wreck all week peeing on any test I could find. I will not do that again! (You all know I probably will)

Cupcake11 · 18/07/2013 09:57

Does anyone else keep flitting between thinking they're pregnant and then being sure they're not? It's soooooo frustrating not knowing!

I'm quite convinced I'm not at the moment. I normally get really sore boobs in the lead up to AF and I haven't even had that this time, let alone increased soreness :(
