Looking for company! I'm 1dpo now (I think) and already feeling nauseous.

We're TTC#2, DD1 is 10 months, still bf so some luteal phase issues .

We hit all the right days with dtd I think so fingers crossed.

Anyone else?

Thanks for all the congratulations.

Spoke to Dh tonight about 'when to test' and hewants to do a test this time next week when we are on holiday, he says it will make the holiday more special.

He also added that he knows I am pregnant anyway and has done since last week (I told him about the cramps, sore boobs etc) as I've had all the symptoms, sex was feeling strange and apparently I've been a snappy cow to him and ds at times. He also says I've been like a furnace for the past week (I've been taking my temp, it is higher than normal) and I look shattered (ds asked if I was ill today, so I must look like crap).

I am a lot more positive that this will be better than the last time for me and dh, our relationship is better than it was when I first fell pregnant in feb.

Ps have just eaten a solero and 3 walnut whips - feel sick now but just felt so greedy! Pretty solid pre-period symptom I reckon...

Doctorhappy · 22/07/2013 22:05

Oh x that's really tough. We took a while with Dc1, not as long as that but I know how it feels to have month after month of heart sinking unwelcome AFs. Really hope you don't have to wait much longer. And in the meantime at least you have some company in the rest of us... Smile

xwonderingx · 22/07/2013 21:57

Well my son took over 2 year , started trying almost straight away for number 2 my son is now 3 x

Wildwaterfalls · 22/07/2013 21:49

Just had a word with DH and he has imposed a no caving rule! In fact he said if AF due on Thur why not test on Fri Shock

He clearly has no idea what I'm going through here Grin

Hi, Not been around all weekend but really great to see Poopy's news this evening. Congratulations!

Not due til friday. Don't really want to test until thursday but I have one in the house so might cave before then...

Feeling very nauseous and quite crampy. and a bit dizzy. And waking up desperate to pee in the morning. Basically exactly how I did last month with the chemical... so feeling a bit uncertain.

Fingers crossed for everyone

Doctorhappy · 22/07/2013 21:38

Hope AF doesn't arrive x but if it does then try to keep positive, there's always the next month! Really crampy here too Hmm so feel you pain... Have you been trying for long?
Wild sounds like you might cave - keep us posted!!!

Cupcake11 · 22/07/2013 21:36

Congratulations Poopy! When is everyone else testing? Hope to see some more bfp soon Grin

xwonderingx · 22/07/2013 21:30

Still pretty bad cramps here just on and off tho I'm pretty sure its coming :'(

Wildwaterfalls · 22/07/2013 20:47

Goodness I'm not sure I can wait much longer. Shall I try a sneaky test tomorrow morning? Period due on Thur but I do ov quite late in the cycle (short lp)...

lj123 · 22/07/2013 20:31

Hoping for BFP 24/7/13, my period is due then, don't get paid until 26/7/13 so only Mother Nature can tell!
Last 2 days - lots of cm, back pain, cramping!

Doctorhappy · 22/07/2013 19:53

Argyle are you late yet?
xwondering fingers crossed AF doesn't appear - keep us posted.
Poopy hope you're doing ok and managing to feel positive and excited.
Much less crampy today than yesterday but still feel like AF is imminent. Due anywhere between tomorrow and thurs as cycle varies from 28-30 days...

xwonderingx · 22/07/2013 16:32

Bin getting cramps for few hour still some back pain I'm going to be soo gutted if at shows x

argylesocks · 22/07/2013 16:21

Congratulations poopy and stay positive. I hope everything works out for you. Enjoy your secret for a few days then test again?

I haven't tested yet but will tomorrow if no AF today. 5 days of on and off cramps but no sign of a period. Very unusual for me. We'll see tomorrow x

Anyone else test today or tomorrow?

lifesgreatquestions · 22/07/2013 15:16

Congratulations Poopy! I can imagine how you're feeling having been down that road. Good luck. I'll be curious to hear how things go for you with private care.

As for me I am very tired, I want to eat a lot but I think that's just what a body does to try to get energy, I don't feel pg. I nearly bought a test today but instead I bought some relaxation cds and will continue trying to hold out until Wednesday evening.

I am supposed to be working but might take a cool shower and have a little lie down!

InMyShreddies · 22/07/2013 12:41

Congrats poopy! Thanks

Enjoy having it as your own little secret, get really secure in how you feel before you tell DH, and (without tiptoeing round him) tell him when it's a good time. Hopefully it'll go better than last time, maybe he knows he was a dick last time? MCs are tough on both of you but much much harder for the mum. Xx

poopyisapig · 22/07/2013 10:34

Doctor - have decided to go private this time (been saving a loooong time). I have a private gp as well, so no real point yet, the last time she said to see her 8/9 weeks and that was just to refer me to the hospital. I am not looking into anything until ten-ish weeks though, just incase, aside from probably going to the EPU if I make it to six weeks. After my MC, they said to come in when I fell pregnant again for a scan to check all is ok.

Off on holiday for a week sat. We were going to travel round spain and france on the train, but thank god we decided to hire a car to do it at the last min!

Wildwaterfalls · 22/07/2013 10:29

Oh yay poopy that is wonderful news! Congratulations!! Grin

I understand you are feeling nervous about it and if course it is up to you when you feel ready to tell people. Please do keep talking to us though until you're ready to tell people in real life. Smile

OP posts:
Doctorhappy · 22/07/2013 10:19

That's true poopy, will give you a chance to let it sink in and for you to get used to the idea. Plus it can feel quite nice and exciting to have a secret like that, that only you know. I hope your DH is kind and supportive when you decide to tell him.
X keep us posted! Might be worth just booking a GP app for later in the week as well before they all get booked up.

poopyisapig · 22/07/2013 10:18

xwondering I know they are all supposed to be the same despite price etc, but honestly, for some reason, first response are the only ones to have been ok for me. Even last time, the first response showed a strong positive (the day after I was due) and some cheapies showed negative.

xwonderingx · 22/07/2013 10:15

I've used 2 different brands , cheapy £1 ones and asda brand ones abit more pricey , going food shopping later maybe I will pick some more up !

poopyisapig · 22/07/2013 10:11

No, I don't have anyone to tell - thank god for mumsnet! After what I went through in April/May this year, I actually feel like a few days of just knowing and keeping it to myself might be helpful to me.

Doctorhappy · 22/07/2013 10:09

Oh poopy sorry DH reacted that way last time - not the response you need at all. Do you feel ok about keeping it to yourself? Have you got a good friend or family member you could speak to over the phone? Of course you couldn't know how his day at work had been and more importantly that isn't an excuse for being unsupportive.
X - was the test you did reliable or a cheap one? Might be worth splashing out on a decent one today?

poopyisapig · 22/07/2013 10:07

Sorry, that all came out a bit wrong.

I want this to be different from the start. I am sure the stress I was under played a part in my mc.

Now that I know, I can talk to dh about when he wants to test. I know that some people may think it's deceitful and wrong, but honestly, I want this time to be different and I had to know because, well, it's my body.
