Well, today I could actually see a line, whereas before it was like a shadow that was hinting at a line. Definitely keeping fingers crossed. It had mixed votes on canyouseealine, but had several people confirm it was a line..

Hi Karma, I'm not entirely out yet, had a BFN yesterday but have had mild cramps since Thursday, no spotting no AF and no crazy mood swings just really tired. Odd, oh well gonna run myself a bath and have a hot chocolate, that should help ease my cramps a bit. Good luck with the wait!

just checking in, fertility friend is back to saying i ov'd on cd16 (not 18) which means i'm 9dpo, feeling queasy today but know i'm over analysing. how's everyone else doing?

Well I caved and POAS this morning - BFN. I'm 12 DPO, so not out yet, but already feeling less symptoms so they were probably all in my head!

Didn't stop me checking it every 10 mins for about an hour in case it magically changed though!

wispa you were right, POAS early wasn't as bad as I thought and just put my mind at rest. I actually feel better seeing a BFN than obsessing over it all day, so now I'll just relax and see if AF shows up in the next few days.

Sorry Noblooming, good luck today Wispa! I just POAS and a BFN. So just waiting for AF to arrive now, going shopping now in an attempt to cheer myself up!

Well I'm out, finally AF made an appearance today and immediately I feel better, all symptoms have subsided, without tmi it does look different so I guess it may have been a chemical pregnacy hence the severe symptoms. I did appear to pass a suspicious looking thing first..oh well!

still not sure if I'm 5dpo or 7dpo but what I do know is that I feel terrible today! To go with my sore bbs (since ov) I woke up with a horrid sore throat and bunged up nose, feeling so sleepy and lightheaded too! I know its because, after a hard week at work, I'm ready for the weekend but the 2WW has me obsessing. Maybe if I'm wiped out with a cold for a few days the wait will go quicker?

Well I had a couple of stomach cramps overnight. Could be the prelude to AF but also I had some very bad news yesterday. My mum has breast cancer again, she only got the all clear in May. So din't know if it a stress reaction to that. Stress isn't good for TTC could do with some good news right now! Confused

Welcome Karma an Glad, my AF is due tmw on a 28 day cycle but mine have been a bit all over the place DH thinks I should wait a few more days and see if AF actually arrives late first. Can see his logic but he isn't the one with all the hormones! Anyway good luck to those testing tmw!

I'm planning to test every day from tomorrow. The Internet cheapie tests mean it's so not expensive.

I've never POAS before, so I suppose that in doing so I'd be getting my hopes up for the first time.

The longer I TTC I suppose it just becomes the norm and I'd be fine about POAS and getting a BFN.

I agree that it would be better to know early if BFP, but surely if I POAS at 10DPO and get a BFN I'll just not believe it and want to test again the next day, and the next.... so I'll just waste money and build my hopes up!
