I know Af is only due on Tuesday but I didn't resist and tested this morning. I used a clear blue one but of course it was negative. Oh well...

Since I didn't get a positive Opk last cycle I'm planning on charting. On the positive side, DH is happy with the idea of dtd on a very very regular basis.

Thanks everyone, and crossing fingers for Arkady (I personally always ended up with a BFP from a possible evaporation line, so very excited for you!). Sorry for those whose BFP is arriving late this month (i.e. coming next month), and fingers crossed for everyone still in the 2ww.

I poas this morning and got a very, very faint line. Am not 100% certain it wasn't just an evap line though.

Had been trying to announce the arrival of the BFP (!) as I can't tell anyone else for ages. Crossing everything that this one's a keeper, and looking forward to reading everyone else's progress this 2ww.

Hi Ginger: I started with TCOYF by Toni Weschler (Taking Charge of Your Fertility). Get an old copy on Amazon for not much, and a digital thermometer (Amazon also). Digital are good, because shaking it down raises your temp if you forget to do it the night before. It needs to be accurate to .1 centigrade (I use c, so I don't know how accurate for farenheit). Mine does to .01, so that's grand, and costs about £3.
I love charting as it means I know exactly when I ovulate, so don't need to have so much sex (ha!). The pictures of cervical fluid are bot gross and totally wow all at the same time, and the pictures of cervixes helped me in the past to know when the ov ship had sailed, even without temping. It's fab!

TCOYF have a website too and a forum for questions (but feel free to ask here too).

Hi just joined the site and think I have found the thread that sums up my life! I have no patience at all and constantly symptom hunt. I think I have caused my own sore boobs by prodding them so much! Nice to know there are others in the same boat as me as everyone I know in real life seems to have gotten pg the minute they came off the pill!

I'm in the same boat as in I don't know if I ovulated this month - no positive OPKs for me either, I had a 2nd line once but it was lighter than the control line.

Nurse and I have an agreement not to POAS until Wednesday so you're welcome to join us ;) I'm really tempted to POAS this weekend but if it's a BFN I will still have hope until AF day, so decided it's best just to say plus I can spend the money elsewhere

also,I'm not sure if I've ovulated this month... all the opks were negative but I only started testing a bit late... perhaps I've missed it.

Af is due on Tuesday. I don't think I'll be strong enough to wait until Tuesday. I might poas on Sunday. i know, a bit crazy .

Tea andnatter am sorry been thru the emotions you are too I had mc 11th July so rely do understand and there always seem to be so many baby's pregnant women baby ads I was with my friend last week who even took me down the baby isle :( lol at cat snarling mine keeps jumping on surfaces (kitten) and snarling would be polite way of saying it hahaa

No witch yet so 1 day late now that's assuming usual 28 day cycle ...have you had a cycle since mc ? This is my first and sure I only ovulated last week x

Tea I've not done any temp charting yet. Might start next month if not successful this month... Do you have any useful links as to how to take the temp?? Can you just use a normal thermometer?

And teaandnatter I am expecting the worst as so moody if AF does come I know it will be a horrible one and I didn't bleed much when I lost my little angel so held a lot of hope date - was my grand ads bday so will never forget the date know what you mean about blurry I found out preg and may have miscarried all same time and no scan until the 15th so kept hope it would be ok. Thanks for pre-warning I'm dreading it and been about 3 months since last AF really feel I have forgotten what even a normal one is like ! Yeh I obv'd week late too 2 days over now bfn yday only got one test left now so going to leave until 6 weeks after as nurse said next AF could take 4-6 weeks so another 2ww great ....never mind a chair I need a bed lol

Hi Positive, Yes I'm on cycle 2 since mc. I lost ours on June 11th (ish - I think? Didn't note the date. It was all a bit blurry at that time). I ov'd a week late first cycle. First period was an utter bloodbath, so be aware. Other mumsnetters had warned me in the mc thread, and it was good to know so I had extra stuff at work. Other women didn't get that bloodbath-ness, but good to be prepared, as it was a lot.
Ov'd on day 15 (as is usual for me) this cycle, so due Monday.

Ginger: I'm due AF same day as you (POAS buddies). I noticed my temps dropped three days before AF last cycle, so they were due to drop this morning, but they didn't (crossing everything for high temps tomorrow and Sunday too). Likely to be hot weather, getting up for wee and thus staying in bed 30 mins later to get to the 3 hour temp point etc etc . 26 day cycle bonzer! That's a whole extra cycle a year on me, jammy woman!

I can't believe it's already Friday and I have managed not to test again! AF is really due on Monday, but as agreed I will wait until Wednesday to test (if AF doesn't show up on Monday of course :P).
I've been having light cramping for about 5 days now, but no other symptoms so I really have to put it down to symptom spotting....

I have to say I feel slightly lucky for having short cycles (26-27 days normally), as I've got less waiting to do!!!
