Oh no writer! I was all set to start poas ing from 10dpo in 4-6 days but now I could potentially start tomorrow...

lol - I got my cheapies from eBay. I think I got about 30 tests for £10 or something ridiculous!! Grin

I hid them away so my husband wouldn't find them as I knew he would call me crazy. He has no idea how often I was POAS. As far as he is concerned the first time I tested was the time I actually got the BFP. I'm happy to let him believe that... Grin

Well, if you aren't pregnant, you aren't - irregardless of when you start POAS Grin

My attitude was:

I'm either pregnant or I'm not. Absolutely nothing I do is going to change that so I can either desperately hang around, making myself depressed about the thought of AF arriving OR I can think extremely positive and make the whole thing more enjoyable by POAS with the mind set of, "If I am pregnant, the sooner I find out the better" Grin

I went with the latter and every day I had something to look forward to Grin

Vjones - just do what I did which was obsessively POAS (2/3 times a day) from as early as 7dpo Grin.

That made it pretty exciting Grin

Hi everyone, I'm finally into my 2ww I'm 5DPO, I had twinges and increased discharge but no EWCM this month, but by chance DTD the day before and day after! So fingers crossed. I started with heartburn 2DPO which has been on and off for the past 3 days and then some very light spotting today! Going crazy with the symptom spotting AF due 2nd Sept I purchased a First Response test this month as I heard they're quite accurate if I can't hold out till the 2nd!

What will be will be now VJones - there is no point second guessing when you did or didn't ovulate and getting yourself wound up over it. Just stay calm and be excited about being in the 2ww Grin

Bush - thank you so much for your thorough response. We dtd every day from cd14-20 and my positive opk was cd17-19 inclusive. I guess I should have stopped testing but no one had told me that before. So I'm guessing that I ov on cd18 or 19.

Erm, feeling a bit dumb but I just entered my lmp into a fertility app and I think (if my period is due between the 30th august and 2nd sept) I'm actually 4-6dpo not 2dpo ish as ff said.

I've no patience so I'm totally aiming for initial poas date being the 26th. I have 25 cheapies so going to pee to my hearts content Grin

Yeah, guess that's a bit early, wispa! I'm hoping to test next weekend. Hot positive opks three days in a row - does anyone know whether I could have ov on any of those days or whether it was likely to be the last one only?
