Psst imps!! here's an explosives expert for you (and you REALLY don't want to know what is in our attic!)

maybe I never tried it sitting down, I'll have to try that next time.

ps has anyone noticed what a wonderful menagerie we are getting here? We have a penguin and a fox, a kitty and even our very own dino!

Imps8 · 22/07/2013 20:01

Honestly, there are NO decent pyrotechnicians out there these day. This O2 show is going to be rubbish.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 19:56

Kitty I'm going nowhere Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 19:55

Cups I agree with Geek pinch hard and it helps. Also, are you standing up to do them? I found they hurt less sitting down. I found I was uncomfortable at around day 9. That was the last time I could run as after that it was too uncomfy.

BlindKitty · 22/07/2013 19:55

Solars oh how exciting! Did you get a picture? I don't think maybe can bare to leave us just yet hangs onto her ankles with dear life-

imps I don't believe I've had the pleasure?!

penguin have you tried 'my fitness pal'? It's an ap where you input what you've had to eat inc your exercise. We could be buddies on there if you like?

cups I found it hurt a lot less if I pressed gently at first - if it felt sharp or painful just on the skin's surface, I'd find another spot. Also, 'pinching the inch' and going in at a 45 degree angle rather than head on hurt less and bled less. I wish I'd known earlier, I only found out when I read the instructions on my trigger shot.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 22/07/2013 19:23

OMFG! Imps I can't believe your back. I have thought about you a lot since you left. It's great to hear your happy since stopping ttc, how's work? How's OH? We haven't half missed you Grin

I'm having IVF at the moment, so keep brooking for me please Smile

IVF ladies I'm on day 4 stimms, my injections are hurting a lot more. I guess as I'm probably going back in some of the same areas. My abdomen is starting to feel tight, did anyone else find that? My first bloods are on Wednesday.

Keep hope you have a safe flight x

GenericDietCola · 22/07/2013 18:52

OMG IMPSSSS! You're here! Bloody fantastic to see you

I did it in the end and got my brooking boy nearly 7 months ago Smile

So glad you're happy and brill that you have made the decision that's right for you.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 18:01

Yes Imps I have been lucky enough to be given Crinone gel. A progesterone supplement in IVF. They call it a gel, but I like to affectionately refer tomitmas fanny gunk. All the cool kids are doing it......

Imps8 · 22/07/2013 17:43

Solars - "fanny gunk"???

Grin Solars. That's just it, I'm definitely not convinced!! I wonder if there's a magical day when it sets in

Solars · 22/07/2013 16:35

You mean to say the fanny gunk isn't convincing you enough?! But I know exactly what you mean, 'tis very strange, you almost feel like a fraud as you're still trying to convince yourself, let alone others!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 16:28

Doesn't feel real though. Or even 'safe' to book my appointments iykwim?

Solars · 22/07/2013 16:25

Wow Maybe it's all go now!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 16:24

Aha Imps. Tis as Trix says!

Solars they did. Scan is on the 13th. Have GP appointment on the 7th and my booking in on the 20th Shock. Have to go and get more fanny gunk supplies tomorrow Grin

Imps8 · 22/07/2013 16:21

No, no, you were a PUOP or something...

cartoontrickster · 22/07/2013 16:19

was it pupo?
pregnant until proven otherwise!

Solars · 22/07/2013 16:18

Yes Imps please stay, I for one have missed your dinner party menus, my menus have been quite uninspired since you left!! Ivf is tough going, more mentally than physically but we managed it on our 2nd attempt so there is something in the science to it I guess Grin There are a few of us with ivf wins now By the way I'm not as well established as you, Maybe & Cups I joined the brookers back in August 2011 but that still does sound a long time ago

Kitty & Musical I'm good thanks and little sunbeam is doing well, I had a scan this morning and all seems to be progressing in the right direction.

Musical weight gain may well help with the return of AF.

Maybe will you be joining us on the t'other thread? When you're ready of course. Did your clinic call you back?

Imps8 · 22/07/2013 16:15

DD2 has arrived!!! Was it a sneeze birth??

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/07/2013 16:15

PIAECP Imps? I peed in an empty cheesecake pot for my tests. One classy bird me Grin

I'm so pleased you're staying!

Imps8 · 22/07/2013 16:11

I may hang around, if you're lucky . I will gladly use all my rat smacking power for the benefit of all soon-to-be PSEPPs! Oh, speaking of which, Maybe you used an acronym when you were having your IVF - begins with P?? Couldn't figure that one out.

Aaah Bartlett so wonderful that
