alice. Sorry you are back. I too am TTC after 2mcs. It's horrible but fingers crossed 3rd time lucky for us.

I did ovulate 1st cycle by opk but I hear most people don't and a poss opk dosen't actually mean an egg popped out.

KS78 - also sorry you find yourself here. I ovulated two weeks later than expected but otherwise body seemed to get back on track fairly quickly.

I am here pleading for permission to break the rules. I am five days 'late'. Last Fri had BFN at what I thought was 14 dpo but now am confused. Could've ovulated later than usual as wasn't monitoring as was on honeymoon and didn't want us to feel like the "little box of doom" aka CBFM was demanding we shag! As also mentioned I didn't get any ewcm this month so I am either 5 days late, or, I ovulated late and am getting my hopes up. Please please may I POAS? I've bought a first response on the way home and haven't been to the loo since 1!

Sal, I went to my GP Monday & basically said I wanted to be referred for fertility treatment. I said it took 13 months to conceive our pg that resulted in MC & since the MC in Feb my periods have been extremely erratic. It helped I was in hospital over the weekend with abnormal bleeding, consultant thinks the MC has triggered my PCOS to act up & I've developed ovarian cysts. She referred me immediately!

Temping is great but doesn't tell you when you are GOING to ovulate, just tells you when you ACTUALLY ovulated after the event. Soooo....for top results, do both.

I'm off to the docs tonight to demand he gets me knocked up . We're a year down the line from initially TTC and in month 4 post MMC and I'm worried that time is ticking on (I'm 36 in September), so we need to get a shimmy on, especially as we want more than one DC.

Any tips on how to get the doc on board?

I'm having to vary where i buy them as i think i must look like a nutter (which i prob am a bit!) with all the OPKs and HPTs i've bought over last few months. Bloody small town life.

Temp charting sounds tempting but would be hard to give up POAS! About to head out to buy some now. Maybe a thermometer could be just as addictive.

flohs we also only managed every second day during the critical window and i'm also hoping it will be enough. Isn't every second day meant to be optimal for sperm quality???

I wasn't doing any kind of testing for the first couple of months, but my cycle length was fairly normal for me and my ewcm seemed to come at the right time so i think my body got right back on track. Certainly this month (4 months later) I seem to have ovulated at the right time

Hi - reading through this thread has really made me smile, was hoping I could join? Am currently sitting on the sofa - it's 5 days after my erpc and am now going to stop reading about miscarriage and concentrate on ttc - bring on the grapefruit/pineapple/evening promise oil/howling at the moon and whatever else will help/make me feel in control. Not had much bleeding - wondering how many of you ovulated in the first month after miscarriage or if it took a while to get back into the swing - I have thermometer, and three different types of ov sticks standing by.....bring it on. Let's be positive!

I've only been gone a few wks but hoping you'll have me back. Just had a second mc at 7 wks. Nowhere near as bad as my 12 wk mmc in April thank goodness but still rubbish & sad. Less of a shock too as I guess after a mc you always fear another.

Debating whether to have a break or cracking on with ttc. Think will have a brief rest until 1st AF & then give it another shot. Hoping for third time lucky.

I get such a bizarre satisfaction from plotting my temps, Aly. Must be my inner nerd. I love to see the chart develop and then pore over it endlessly during the 2ww

flohs, if you've DTD every two days, you won't miss ovulation at all. If you ovulated on a non-sex day, then the swimmers will already be ready and waiting from the day before, IYSWIM.

Hello! How is everyone....? Mid cycle at the mo. been trying to have a month of being more relaxed about it. So no opk's, we've just been dtd every two days for two weeks on recommendation of the doctor. Makes me feel nervous because surely we could so easily miss ovulation but I am much more relaxed about it and so is DH.

Aly I think we must be at exactly the same stage in cycle. Hope everyone is doing ok.

I loved temping too Aly - only did it for one month, but going to try again next month. It was fun watching the temp peak, I agree - and my ov sticks have been hit or miss.

Am cutting out the symptom spotting again and just looking forward to a glass of wine this weekend once if AF arrives on Thu/Fri. Am going to in-laws who always have excellent wine in !

trinpy sounds like you ovulated to me.
I think that I ov'd pretty much exactly 2 weeks after my erpc.

My very faint line on the cheapie ov sticks has now disappeared and my temp is sky high. Fertility friend app says that I ovulated on sunday for sure.
I love temping! I'm a complete convert. never touching an ov stick again.

I know I know I'll try again Friday just so I'm no rule breaker and to make absolutely sure. Consider myself fish slapped.

Speaking of opks, has anyone used the clearblue ones? Old fashioned line ones not the digis. Never used before but they were the only kind the supermarket had. The test line was slowly getting darker and I thought they were the same colour yesterday afternoon, tested again in the evening and the test line had got a lot lighter again. Does this sound like I might have ovulated? Am I crazy to think I could have ovulated 2 weeks after a mc? Definitely going back to digis next month. lines are so confusing!
