IWantOneNow · 04/07/2013 09:19

linda thanks for your reply, that would be fab if that happened to me! I'm really hoping that I get a bfp!! Fingers crossed everyone Smile

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 09:11

I don't blame him, must have been awful, think we sometimes forget how much these things affect them. My pal has had a few chem pregnancies and a few mc with her new partner but I saw her the other day and she's pregnant again, thinks she's about 14 wks, 1st time she's made it past 7 wks, she's got a scan today so I can't wait to hear how it goes. She has older kids but i think shes older than me so higher risk of mc. She is such a lovely woman Smile

FoxMulder · 04/07/2013 08:55

I think you're right, it doesn't sound like he really wants to stop ttc! Certainly sounds very excited about it.

Every time I mention a twinge or something DH say's its probably gas. Thanks DH...

I think last month he was really upset when after getting the BFP I started spotting a few days later. It really came as a shock to him, and he doesn't want to feel that again.

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 08:44

Fox your DH sounds very sensible, my OH is all like do a test, do a test, lol. Text him the other day saying I had a sore tummy, think its the new tablets I'm on but he text back saying no its not, your pregnant I can tell, lol. Thinks he's psychic Smile I'm not convinced he really wants to stop ttc

FoxMulder · 04/07/2013 08:39

So, if people on the list never come back to say whether they got a BFP or AF, do they stay on the list forever, or do they get kicked off?

FoxMulder · 04/07/2013 08:38

DH doesn't want me to POAS until AF is late incase of a chem preg. He (sensibly) thinks it would be better to never have known than to get all excited just to be disappointed. He has a point...but...but...

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 08:32

Sorry af got you Red Hmm

Fairy when are you going to test? I think I'll do one tomorrow, no way i can wait until Tuesday. Not expecting a bfp but gona poas just coz I can, lol Smile

armywag21 · 04/07/2013 08:30

Congrats to all of the bfps!
I am debating whether to try this month as I'm having a ultrasound on whole pelvic area next Wednesday so a bit nervous and worried there will be a issue :(
I am a major worrier at the moment tho lol what do you ladies think?

FoxMulder · 04/07/2013 08:24

Hi jelly lovely to see you again. Sorry to hear you've not been feeling so good.

Sorry AF got you Bart Has she properly gone again now, do you think? That does seem really quick, can't hurt talking to a GP but they are often pretty useless. Sorry, that's not helpful!

I am properly shattered. I'm taking the day off work tomorrow just to sleep (and watch the tennis) uuuuurgh. [knackered face]

Redbug · 04/07/2013 08:24

Sigh. AF appeared last night. Grr. I knew from a few days ago that I'd been unlucky, but hard to let go of the last vestige of hope! And August is basically a non-starter as I am away for almost my entire fertile window. Boo.

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 08:12

Bart I would defo go see your gp, tell them you want some kind of help. Any other time in your life you'd be glad of a short af but not when ttc, even ask a pharmacist if there's anything you can do or take to help

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 08:06

Oh Lel, sounds to me like your already late, like Fairy I'd be all over the poas by now. No self control here Smile

Fairypants · 04/07/2013 07:59

Morning ladies!
Lel, you are already really late. There is no way I could resist poas in you position. Although it could well be a wobbly cycle, most tests say 99% (or whatever their maximum) accuracy by 4 days after af is due. I'd go for it (but I'm debating poas and af not due til tues so clearly poas crazy!)

OrangeMochaFrappucino · 04/07/2013 07:52

I'm surfacing on this thread again...after my vanishing BFP, I went on to miscarry and although my immediate reaction was to ttc straight away I then wavered a little as I felt very depressed and my emotions went a bit haywire. I feel very nervous about getting pregnant again as I'm so afraid of another mc. So I decided to not actively try or not try! If I happen to get a BFP again this month I'll be pleased. If I don't, I'll enjoy my holiday to France at the end of July drinking red wine and eating stinky cheese!

Congrats to all the BFPs so far and good luck to everyone else!

Vikkijayne2507 · 04/07/2013 07:46

Hi Bartbaby i thought my AF was the same as is still really light and I almost thought it had gone after a day but it did appear bit by bit i think the cycle needs time to regulate itself. I dont think it would hurt having a discussion with GP and be clear your want advice and not want to be fobbed off, actually use the words fobbed off Ive found being straightforward helpful with GP

DisneyDiva87 · 04/07/2013 07:36

My temp has only gone up in the last 3-4 days. I hope I haven't ovulated late. Not that it really matters cause we only DTD twice this month. Don't even know if my temping is accurate.

Grrrr... This is annoying.

BartBaby · 04/07/2013 00:09

Sorry about the double post it said it hadnt sent?! And i dont know how to delete one?? Blush

BartBaby · 04/07/2013 00:04

Congratulations to all the bfp's!!! Cant say im not the teeniest bit jealous Envy but im so happy for you all. What a good start to the month Grin hopefully we will be just as lucky at the back end of the month.

Welcome lel i also had the mirena coil removed in april, and although my cycles have been pretty regular (27,29,27) the af's have all been really short. Do you know when you have ovulated? Or how many dpo you are? I would try and wait until at least 10dpo really to poas. Although for a lot of us that is easier said than done! Well done on holding off so far

I hope everyone else is doing ok. Af arrived for me yesterday. And she has already pretty much vacated Hmm im sure some of you remember me rambling on mid month about the short af's and how im starting to get concerned that there isnt enough blood lining my uterus to accommodate a healthy bean, hense the short af's because there isnt much blood in there. Do you think its worth going to see the gp? I know its only been 3 months and i think i will probably just get fobbed off, but if its something that can be easily fixed with vitamins or something then id rather start doing that now rather than having to wait ages and then do something about it iyswim.

Hi this is my first time posting, although I've been sneaking round for a month or so looking at the boards. This is our 2nd month TTC. I had a mirena coil removed in April and since then have had AF every 21 days. I was due at the weekend but up to now no sign of AF. I'm just wondering if you can give me some advice as to when the best time to POAS will be, I was thinking maybe if AF hasn't turned up by Sunday? Or do you think that will be too early. I'm not sure if my cycle is just sorting itself out after having the coil removed as I don't have any symptoms.

Thanks for any advice and congrats to all the BFP's!!

Vikkijayne2507 · 03/07/2013 22:38

Aww gilly I did chuckle at that. this bus is amazing congrats all. Af definitely here so i know where I stand

LittleMachine · 03/07/2013 22:22

I think you should have make up sex!

LittleMachine · 03/07/2013 22:22

Gilly that made me laugh too. My toddler was a high needs baby. But he had nothing on my cat. She's something else!
