Im 19, don't know if you'd class that as 'adult' but I'm a engaged lady i had a MC and since been TTC i have been doing childcare since age 15 and have worked in a nursery 3 years and currently nannying for a 2 and 10 year old x

ImaginaryHat · 20/06/2013 08:57

Someday I'm just being cautious, I'm sure its fine to carry on ttc but I'd hate to fall pg then find out there was something wrong (I've had 'abnormal' results in the past, but nothing that turned into anything to worry about). I just decided to skip this month til I know everything's fine. Sorry didn't mean to worry anyone!

SomeDaySoon74 · 20/06/2013 08:41

I was in my final year of uni in 1994!!

FoxMulder · 20/06/2013 08:18

You weren't, like, born in 1994 were you Emily? Surely this isn't possible. I mean, I started secondary school in 1994. It wasn't that long ago...people born in 1994 can't possibly be adults yet, right?!

LittleMachine · 20/06/2013 08:13

Going by my last couple of lennnnngthy cycles, ov due today. No smiley face yet. I'm exhausted from all the sex!

Emilyjamie94 · 20/06/2013 07:21

Haha thanks! And oh dont x x

SomeDaySoon74 · 20/06/2013 07:16

P.S. welcome Emily!
P.P.S. you make me feel verrrrrry old!!

SomeDaySoon74 · 20/06/2013 07:15

Hello everyone! Can't keep up with you all Grin
apprentice - I went to see Stone Roses a couple of weeks ago in finsbury park (ace) but there was definitely no toilet shenanigans for me and DH!! Shock
hat - I was a bit confused by your post. Confused I've got my annual smear test this morning but we've been doing SMEP this month and I wasn't thinking it would be like any other month. You don't mean to say folks shouldn't be TTC the same month they have a smear test do you? I really hope that isn't the case...?

Emilyjamie94 · 20/06/2013 06:20

Hii can i jump on aswell?
Really really rhought june was the month for me i have every stmptoms apart from the BFP its also cycle day 32!

Ttc#1

londonchick · 19/06/2013 22:54

2ww for me then! DH has buckled under the pressure tonight. Reckon I ovulated today. Plenty of dtd up to this point though so fingers crossed!

Not feeling as hopeful as I was though!!

apprenticemamma · 19/06/2013 22:19

gillywillywoo after no opk on day 16 and no more digital sticks I thought sod it I do use fertility friend but I am not obsessive symptom spotting or anything this month. And I defo think it helps bc last month was also totes obsessed and generally not good. Here's hoping our chilled out july bus will work instead of pedal to the metal speeding stressbus (like my euphemism)

apprenticemamma · 19/06/2013 22:13

welcome roses and some well deserved lucky dust your way

apprenticemamma · 19/06/2013 22:12

beccadugs try to not think too much about logistics suffice to say disabled toilets come in handy and an immediate seat sought in pub afterwards! fairypants it was defo a nod to the glory days but hey we still manage spontaneity with the aid of an army of babysitters , stepkids and military operation to escape! But also the sort of foray that reminds me that if mission successful there will be less of these crazy timesWink

ImaginaryHat · 19/06/2013 21:34

And welcome Roses, have some of my baby dust. Fingers crossed for a sticky one for you on lucky bus 7 Smile

ImaginaryHat · 19/06/2013 21:32

Hi ladies, also just popping in to catch up, you lot are terrifying me with your talk of triplets and disapproving families!

I'm already declaring myself out this month. Got my smear reminder letter while af was visting, which completely baffled me as I was sure I'd had one around 18months ago. However the letter says 3 years and includes the date of last test so I suppose I have to believe it, I'm still not sure I do though! So I can't get an appt til 3rd July which rules me out for this month. Really annoyed as after a poor effort last month we were totally geared up for lots of dtd on SMEP, was really rather looking forward to it! Anyway, my baby dust for this month is going spare so I'm passing it on to all of you!

Bartbaby I also use the green Amazon ic's and they work fine for me, I get a couple of days with v pale lines then 1 or 2 days where it is v obviously as dark as the control line. I'm not sure they work as well for everyone though, but if it matches your digital ones you may as well save yourself some money!

RosesInTheRain · 19/06/2013 20:57

hi, can I come on the bus please? I'm on CD4, just had a chemical pregnancy. Had a TFMR before Christmas as DS2 had a fatal abnormality, have had several previous mc too. I have DS1 (who's 2.6) though Grin

Hoping this month will work- next BFP will be pregnancy no.7 so 7th month maybe....?

I'm in the boring bit, too early to start trying and can't obsess about whether I'm pregnant or not!

Springbells · 19/06/2013 20:36

Hello ladies, just popping in to catch up and see how everyone's doing. Technically I should be on this bus, as just started the 2ww, but with a luteal phase of 7 days Shock I will probably see all you lovely ladies at the back of the bus sooner than I would like! Not hopeful this month as oh away on business for a while as of Sunday and ovulated yesterday. Still, you never know I guess! Passing the Biscuit round.

BartBaby · 19/06/2013 20:36

Oohh welcome to the 2ww blueamber Grin

This is my 3rd 2ww now (so quite new to it all compared to some of the lovely ladies on here) but i think its the worst part for me. The not knowing. Am i or arent i? Some people find it easier than the first 2 weeks though so i hope it isnt too bad for you Smile i do feel slightly better this month tho so far as i think i sort of know what to expect now. I know i will feel sick next week, and i will soon get sore boobs and i will have some cramps etc and thats just my af symptoms!

blueamber · 19/06/2013 20:15

I've been in the 2ww since Tuesday, Bartbaby. First one! Oh I just realised it's only been a day! This is going to be a long fortnight Smile

lindamagoo · 19/06/2013 18:07

Bart I think that's the ones I've just got, will find out next week if they work ok

BartBaby · 19/06/2013 17:56

Which internet cheapy's have you all been using? I had some one step ones off amazon, with green bits at the end where you hold. This month i used the them along side the digital ones and the results were exactly the same (the lines were definately dark enough so no doubt about it being positive) so i will use up the digi ones i have left and then probably just use the ic ones for future months. I know everyone is probably different but always worth using them along side the digi ones for comparison as it may save some money Smile

lindamagoo · 19/06/2013 17:37

I'll be using ic opk's next week but if need be I'm defo going digital next month. I'll start testing on Mon (cd 12) don't think I really need them though as I get ov spotting anyway but I think it sometimes comes just after ov so I'll do the tests anyway

DisneyDiva87 · 19/06/2013 17:19

I think I'm only going to temp for a month or 2 and I'm got going to order more opks (I have 50!) I just want to get a better idea of my cycle so I have a bit of a clue but I don't want to get too stressed out about it.

Fairypants · 19/06/2013 17:03

Our families will be delighted, it's more friends who will be funny as it is just assumed that 'we're all done with all that stuff'!
No mums or mil's in our family Hmm but dm would have to approve as I'm one of 3 Grin
Am hoping to be more relaxed this month as my main aim is to lengthen lp after finding its only 10 days. I'm taking B6 but only 1 a day (25ug tablet). Does anyone have experience of taking them and how much was enough?

ThoraNomiki · 19/06/2013 16:47

oh s tadpoles were lazily floating round on a lilo cocktail in hand...
haha that made me chuckle and I'm impressed. Concert-toilet-cubicle-DTD I hope this is your month - that would make a great story to tell the in-laws Grin

I love the idea of families with lots of children. My ideal number would be 3 but I doubt I'd be able to convince DH. There's already a fair gap between DD and a potential sibling.

Fingers Crossed for you BartBaby and anyone else entering the 2ww. Update us with every tingle

Internet cheapie Ov tests turned up today. I don't know what my cycle is going to be like so going to start testing on CD11 next week and DTD every other day just in case. I'm also going to keep an eye out for EWCM and ov pains. I got those exactly 2 weeks before AF turned up. I just hope that either way I don't have to wait as long as last time (155 days after ending hormonal BC)
