It's time for some more grads!!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months NO instadiffers, must have a special pot)

well that's one big tick in the box for you gil, congrats.
I'm curious, does the polyp cause ant other problems other than benign stopping you TTC? sorry, I'm being nosey here, throw a sausage at me if you like.

Gillster · 21/05/2013 16:07

Well just had my HSG test which came back clear Smile
Just have to wait for appointment for removal of endometrial polyp. They also said that as they had disturbed the lining of my uterus I should probably wait until next month to TTC. Looks like I'll be lurking around for a while yet!

Frogcatcher · 21/05/2013 14:07

Oh Sid I feel your pain. I know I'm diffed but I still keep panicking in case it doesn't stick & we don't manage it again so I'm only ever a SM. DP has already made a couple of comments about when his ex was pg re doctors etc at which I totally freaked out. He thinks he's being helpful but I think he now knows to make no comparisons or even references to the last time. He's actually keen that we travel further to another hospital so our child isn't born in the same one as SS which I'm glad about.

For all short LP people there is a girl on the Jan 14 thread who went for a dating scan & found out she had conceived later than she thought on CD18 of a 27 day cycle so it is possible! She was literally about to go to the FC this month after trying for 2 years when she found out she was pg - there is hope berries!!

Tallyra · 21/05/2013 11:29

thank you everyone, I was pretty crap last night, then the internet went down so I went to bed, but you gave me a nice boost to try and be a bit happier today xxxxxx

SidneyBristow · 21/05/2013 10:43

CBFM shows another high today Confused to top it off I have weird crampy feelings going on which I'd otherwise attribute to ovulating, but I don't see how that's possible, if I haven't gotten a Peak reading yet this month? CD18 so much too early for AF.

All my bloodwork was normal; dildocam showed loads of follicles waiting to mature and that was only back in Feb so I don't understand what's happening. Cycle 11 here and want to crawl under a rock. The other day DH told SD how she'd nearly been given a different name bc he & his exW changed their minds 'at the very last minute'...really hard to get the image of DH in the delivery room with someone else out of my mind when I can't be sure it'll happen for us Sad

I think this is where I ask if there's enough room on the pity sofa for me. Might be more comfy than under the rock.

barkingtreefrog · 21/05/2013 08:04

It does, kitty, it does!! The IUI will sort you out. You'll be diffed by July Grin .

sconeoclock · 21/05/2013 07:22

puppy you could leave off the flaked almonds and drizzle with icing when cooled

My temp has gone back up above cover line this morning so am keeping my fx it stays up now!

PuppyMummy · 21/05/2013 07:11

scone could u ice that and make it like a bakewell?

BlindKitty · 21/05/2013 06:31

barking well I see your 18 months and raise you another 6!!! Must mean I'm even closer then!!!!

Well opks still -ve but temp gone up so think I might have ov'd on day after all. Wasn't quite sure whether opk on Friday was -ve or +-ve if I'm honest. Hence why now use digital unless I'm stupid enough to forget the reader on holiday

Hospital meant to be calling in June re starting iui. 1st day of af due 2nd June so guessing it will be July now grr. Other thing is dh is going to Glastonbury and guessing he won't do it sober so swimmers will prob be even more rubbish than normal!!'

MrsB00Mbastic · 21/05/2013 00:02

Ooooh... that sounds dangerous. And yet I think we'd be doing the other berries a disservice if I didn't beg ask you to post it..

sconeoclock · 20/05/2013 23:58

Should be fine just use plain flour you could even use ground almonds in the base too instead of flour.

I have a really really easy gluten free chocolate brownie recipe too...

MrsB00Mbastic · 20/05/2013 23:56

Woot! Thanks scone, that looks like something even idiot bakers like me could manage! I bet that would be fine with gluten-free flour too? (she says hopefully)

sconeoclock · 20/05/2013 23:53

boom
Grease & line baking tin, square or rectangular.

I use food mixer.

Base - 1 pack butter, 225g pain flour, 60g sugar.
Blend and spread into tin.
Cook in med oven until slightly golden.

Cover in raspberry jam and raspberries.

In mixer blend 4 eggs, 150g butter, 150g sugar, 150g ground almonds. Plus whatever booze you like.

Plop in blobs on top of raspberries and spread out, cover in flaked almonds and cook until springy!!

sconeoclock · 20/05/2013 23:48

boom I make a mean almond and raspberry bake well that would be great with some booze in!

MrsB00Mbastic · 20/05/2013 23:25

Oooh scone please will you find a recipe for something involving almonds and booze. Almondy cakey goodness will take my mind off essays and wonky uteruses and where the f**k on earth AF has gone...

MrsB00Mbastic · 20/05/2013 23:24

Oh gawd, I have to stop spending half an hour to write a message, now I've missed a zillion messages..and Lo, most of them are from Thunder

MrsB00Mbastic · 20/05/2013 23:20

Aaaah thunder it all makes sense now. Thought it sounded spectacularly unlikely!

Your yellow-brick-road-bratwurst-wanging image has just made me snort in an unladylike fashion.

SidneyBristow · 20/05/2013 23:08

And lo, Sid cannot get comfy in bed next to her DH bc she's annoyed from tidying up after him, but still knows she must DTD in 8 hours lest she continue losing her mind for want of a baby.

Pretty much sums it up! Wink hey this could be fun, you might be on to something thunder!

sconeoclock · 20/05/2013 22:58

Evening all, what a jolly atmosphere here this evening!

I've stopped googling low temps and switched to searching for new cake recipes and icing nozzles instead, much more pleasing!

Thundercatsarego · 20/05/2013 22:55

and Lo, thunder realised she talks an awful lot of nonsense so decides its time to go to bed too. But not before flashing her left breast at the shuttle in an act of crude defiance

Thundercatsarego · 20/05/2013 22:51

I think Lo is an underused but excellent expression actually sid - I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. How about we adopt it when announcing here in berrysville?

And Lo sid did do a typo and stomped off to bed.
And Lo barking did befanjo herself with said mooncup.

SidneyBristow · 20/05/2013 22:48

Argh meant LOL. Time for bed.

SidneyBristow · 20/05/2013 22:47

Yes, sorry, MC was referring to mooncup, not miscarriage! Should've realized that would be confusing but let my laziness get the better of me!

Prevusly I'd always used a combination of pads & tampons but other the mooncup. Was able to get away with just a pantilinerand the mooncup itself. No leaking - none - I was amazed.

LO I had the same thought about buying it and then needing to change sizes; c'mon Sod!!

barkingtreefrog · 20/05/2013 22:43

Oo, thunder YES!! Like when you run along railings holding out a stick so it goes ping ping ping ping ping ping....

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 20/05/2013 22:41

Oh thank you Boom

I'm quite tempted to try this mooncup lark. I have a problem with tampons now as some days are so light I need minis (which you have to hunt to buy) but some days I need regulars, but if I guess wrong which one I need and go too big I end up feeling like I've had my insides sucked up and all the moisture has gone forever . The problem with guessing too light is obvious... A mooncup would probably solve the issue. And I would save money on tampons and towels and not have to remember to have spares with me etc.

Hmm. I've only ever heard good things about them (apart from the friend who apparently had to ask her then boyfriend to retrieve hers when she got it stuck Blush , I think I mentioned that the last time we had a mooncup conversation).
