It's time for some more grads!!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months NO instadiffers, must have a special pot)

Oh I am getting my smiley faces every month with the CB ones it was more a point of the instadiffers writing all the positive reviews! Grrrrr.

GooseyD · 24/05/2013 07:56

Morning all

So glad you got seen last night Barking, I hope you're well on the way to feeling better now. How are you?

Bunny glad that OH is doing his bit!

Scone I don't know why this should be the case, but my first two or three cycles charting my temps were all over the place. Partly changing thermometer, partly having a sip of water or going to loo an hour before waking again and taking temp and such like (for me has an effect, especially the water - now I always take temp when I first wake and adjust for time if way different), but partly it just seemed to settle down. I also got used to the effect that restless nights or alcohol and other things have on my temps and some mornings I just have to discount the reading.
Having three such weird and apparently annovulatory charts and then all going regular suddenly actually made me wonder whether I was mentally controlling my temps through sheer force of wanting to see ovulation!! - until all blood tests and switching to CBFM instead of OPKS confirmed same pattern. The book I read re charting and fertility also said it normally takes a few months to get decent charts - don't really understand why it should, and it sounds like others here got the hang quicker, but what I'm saying is I really wouldn't worry too much about the random temps until you've done a few cycles. Wow, that explanations was longer than intended!

So, things were calmer in the Goose household yesterday. We decided to wait til next month to take the Clomid as I have been in just such a state physically and emotionally and don't want to start taking drugs that are prone to giving you 'mood swings and depression'! As DP says, if my mood doesn't improve, no amount of pills is going to help us! Smile Also, as GP is adamant we need monitoring at least for first cycle I want to see if she can work her magic and get it funded, otherwise we'll go private if can afford it. For my part too, I just want to see that we make up properly and anyway, not "just" because of meds and ttc. Rubbish timing for worst argument we've had, but on the bright side my LP is so short AF will be round again in a flash Grin.

Morning all. I struggled with Internet opks too. I did get some positives but I found them such a faff to do and then interpret. Love the cb digi ones- fmu and no mistaking a smiley face or not.

Am I being daft going cold turkey this cycle?

barking how are you doing lady? It's good you are in good hands now but what a palava you poor thing.

happylass · 24/05/2013 07:38

Morning Berries. Last day in work for me and all you other teacher berries before a week off Grin
Scone your temp dip is the right time for implantation so FX for you.
My temp went up by a massive 0.5 this morning. Be interesting to see if it stays up now and if AF arrives any later.
Out in town with work tonight though and staying in a hotel room with a colleague. Going to have to be very subtle about taking my temp in the morning!
Have a good day all!

sconeoclock · 24/05/2013 07:32

gillster I bought internet opks that didn't work for me. 2 days of positives with clear blue opk and nothing but negatives with internet ones on the same days

Gillster · 24/05/2013 07:31

Hope you're feeling much better today barking and that you don 't have to stay in hospital too long.

I made the mistake of looking at the Amazon reviews of OPKs last night. Pretty much every review was "these sticks are amazing, used them once, got smiley face and now I'm pregnant". Massive hurumph!

BlindKitty · 24/05/2013 06:57

Oh and I hope barking is feeling better xxxx

BlindKitty · 24/05/2013 06:57

scone we also do it every day / every other day during shag week but tbh think neither of us want to unless its the weekend. I really don't know how he manages to perform tbh! When not on shag week it's weekend mornings

bunny I know! Bump central! Sainsburys = bumps, FB= bumps, work = bumps, coronation street = 2x bumps, game of thrones = bumps... not that I've noticed or anything lol!!!

sconeoclock · 24/05/2013 06:55

barking poor you, thank goodness you called them. Hope you are feeling better today

So yesterday (8dpo) I had a massive temp drop and today it has shot right up to my highest reading so far. Really trying not to read too much into it, I'm probably just coming down with something....

happylass · 24/05/2013 01:13

Oh no Barking poor you! Take it easy and hope you get better soon xx

barkingtreefrog · 24/05/2013 01:06

Being admitted to hospital. Guess I wasn't making too much fuss after all Hmm .

Still waiting at the out of hours GP for my 11.30 appointment. Wish I'd just gone to bed with loads of painkillers and booked an appointment in the morning Sad .

Tallyra · 23/05/2013 23:27

might have to try that then scone!

sconeoclock · 23/05/2013 23:22

Oh and berocca works wonders lol

sconeoclock · 23/05/2013 23:21

We've been together 8 years although to be fair its only in the last couple of years that we have found our stride so to speak!

Bunnygirlie · 23/05/2013 23:10

Crikey scone you have your work cut out for you then, must be knackering! Have you been together a long time?

sconeoclock · 23/05/2013 22:57

And with regards to DTD my dh has a very high libido so we usually DTD every other day or every 3 days but every day for 3 days in shag week. We would do it every day if it were up to him!

sconeoclock · 23/05/2013 22:55

barking hope all goes well at docs, hopefully just antibiotics.

I got an infection after a colposcopy I had which was very unpleasant but antibiotics worked quickly.

8dpo here and another massive temp drop today below the cover line this time, so hoping for a big leap in temp tomorrow or I fear I could have low progesterone issues which could give low temps. Although I think my temps are white high anyway compared to others, my previous ov and post ov temps range from 36.5 to 37.1c

Oh and had to share something that made me chuckle today, was looking at acronyms and found out the EWCM stands for egg white cervical mucus and not eeewwww cervical mucus! as I have been reading it!!!!

happylass · 23/05/2013 22:49

Barking sorry to hear you're in so much pain and hope the docs get it sorted for you. Please let us know how you get on. Sending big hugs.

Thundercatsarego · 23/05/2013 22:46

barking You poor poor thing- I hope they help you at the appointment and you can get some rest. How awful. Please let us know how you get on.

Good job mr bunny !

Bunnygirlie · 23/05/2013 22:44

Ooh pressed post too early.

I'm sure I'm just paranoid and nobody really cares lol. Just like I feel like the world is getting at me with bumps everywhere and babies/TTC being on every tv show I watch when it's actually just because I'm more aware of these things coz it's on my mind!

Frogcatcher · 23/05/2013 22:36

barking I had an infection after my LLETZ procedure thingy so whilst not the same imagine its caused just by foreign objects going near your bits. It wasn't painful but there was bleeding. Dr gave me some antibiotics that cleared it up quickly so sure you'll be fine once you get to see doc. They were strict no drinking ones though which was irritating as had to stay sober on a ski hols. Hope you feel better soon. Flowers

Bunnygirlie · 23/05/2013 22:36

Thanks cats

BlindKitty · 23/05/2013 22:17

Oh just noticed you have called. Hope you're feeling better xxx

CharmingCats · 23/05/2013 22:16

bunny glad oh has got test booked. You've done today, try not to worry about colleagues. They probably pick up on it less than you think.
Barking, I've pmed you.
