So who's next in line for that BFP???

Lots of tests for poor Solars

Down regging is tiring me out and making me a bit loopy. I sometimes still get the intense nervousness, but not as bad as a few weeks ago!

Solars · 14/06/2013 16:07

Oh yes forgot to answer you Keep no we have no frosties, 1 made it to blastocyst but they said it didn't have the right components to continue as an embryo, the other 2 stopped growing at day 4 I think. In terms of scan they haven't given me a date I think they wait 'til hcg levels get to 20,000 before they scan.

Maybe they test nk's again in 3/4 weeks time, so maybe if they're still raised which could continue throughout the pregnancy. My next hcg blood test is Sunday, so at least I get a break tmrw. It does mess up our plans to go up and see my family though! How has the downregging been treating you?

Glad to hear its all going well Solars Smile Hope the intrepids (or whatever they're called! Pretty sure that won't come up on my autocorrect) were ok.

Geek you have my sympathy my love. Glad they OK'd WFH. I'm still Shock about the other HR 'issues' at your place though!

What a decision to have to make Beedle - I don't know what I'd do. Every option has horrible (irrelevant cos it will be a BFP) down sides Sad. However, you know that whatever you decide, we are here holding your hand every step of the way Thanks

When is your OTD / BBT date beedle?

Love to everyone else xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/06/2013 15:58

Solars that's fantastic news! Will you need another dose, or will that be it? When do you have your scan?

Hope we didn't spoil your tea too much Boo Grin

I have just received a lucky brooking piss stick. Thanks Little!

Solars · 14/06/2013 14:21

Beedle it is so hard, I just couldn't face seeing a negative myself, hence why I waited. I third the put the pee in the a pot and decide later if you can't face it first thing, but 13dpec should be a good time to test. It will be a BFP anyway. When is the official day anyway? 2 or 3 days later?

Geek you have a sure fire case of baby brain there!! Glad you sorted out working from home!

Sounds like you have a case of baby brain too Maybe not long 'til Tuesday, eek!

Hcg is at 627 today, Nks are raised so I have had another dose of intralipids! Apart from tiredness no other real symptoms to report unless you count raging hunger Hmm

I am so sorry, the pain of Percy is awful and familiar to me, but Geek and Maybe you have both just made me spit my tea a little GrinGrin

Beedle I second the advice to pot up your pee and pee how brave you feel later the day.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 12:43

geek you do make me smile :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/06/2013 12:34

Geek you make me Grin. I've list the plot this week too and I can't blame Percy

So pleased WFH had been okayd. That's the pressure off your arse for a bit

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 12:25

wtf? I'm geek - the second para in previous post was meant for maybe

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 12:24

beedle yes, it was strange, the charts all showed they had continued with their progresterone, too. (((huge hugs))) It will not be a bfn for you though lovely. As maybe says, perhaps see how you feel on the morning. You can always pot up your FMU for later consideration if you don't want to make the decision first thing.

geek yes, it's very shaky, legally, but they insist they only have to deviate from their absence policy in cases of cancer or maternity-related absences. They are so not a caring organisation.

Ok, so wfh for next week has been authorised, that takes the pressure off a bit. Somehow managed to get away with conveying my difficulty without once mentioning piles, haemorrhoids, or having an arse like a baboon once Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/06/2013 12:14

Oh Beedle lovely. I think you know better than MrB. I suppose it's a toss up between preparing yourself and keeping the faith. I say see how you feel that morning. But it doesn't matter anyway as it will be a BFP.

Geek sacking for organ failure Shock that's got unfair dismissal all over it. I def agree with working from home. That way everyone's happy. How are you feeling other than Percy and his posse?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 11:55

No I haven't been temping but I could over the next few days, I didn't think it would show anything useful due to the extra progesterone so i didn't bother.

If I got a BFN I'd probably spend the whole day crying Sad

I can't believe that you can sack someone having treatment for organ failure Shock so perhaps the working from home is the best compromise.

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 11:03

x.posted with your second message beedle I completely get where you're coming from. Do you temp? I've been looking at FF charts of successful and unsuccessful IVF cycles and there is a temp drop on about 90% of unsuccessful charts a couple of days before bleeding. Successful charts all seem to remain high.

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 10:49

beedle I think 13dpEC should be pretty accurate, especially if you use an FRER. I'm amazed how late the clinics seem to want to test - I suppose it helps rule out early false positives and chemical pregnancies. My clinic OTD is 15dpEC, so you are only two days less than that. More importantly, though, how would you feel if you saw a BFN at that point? Would you feel you had tested too early?

Thanks for the lovely words boo, maybe and beedle. No adjustable desks at work, but I'm thinking of asking to work from home. I'm worried about taking additional time off as we have a rather vicious absence policy and I've known them to sack people for having treatment for organ failure. Dink has been pretty good about the time I've had off so far and I don't want it to seem like I am milking it.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 10:47

Oh and my biggest worry with not testing early is that AF would just suddenly arrive before OTD, whilst I'm at work say, and I wouldn't have any warning. I almost want to cry just thinking about it.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/06/2013 10:33

Mrb is a bit worried about me testing early (on Sunday) and getting really disappointed by a negative that then turns positive on my OTD. How likely do you guys think it is that I would get a false negative at 13dpEC using a FRER and an IC (just to make sure!)?

geek hope you feel better soon, do you have adjustable desks at work so you could stand up if you can't sit down? But really who cares what Dink Boss thinks Shock

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/06/2013 08:34

Oh Geek you poor thing. Your doc will definitely help. Just give them a call.

Hope everything goes well today Solars

Cups hurrah for no news being good news. I have a scan next tuesday, and if that goes to plan, I should start stimming Wednesday evening!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 14/06/2013 08:22

I should think your Dr will be able to help with time off, he/she has met Percy so knows what you're suffering.

Solars good luck today :) Has it sunk in yet that sunbeam is with you?

Trix love the name treats for your little one :)

Brooking for everyone

ControlGeek · 14/06/2013 08:13

(Waves to our newest btepp solars) how are you feeling this morning? Good luck with blood tests, levels, nk cell results xx

Cups brooking that no news is good news as far as your test results go. Are you definitely on for starting this cycle now? Your clinic has me very confused :s

Been awake since half two with bloody percy and his mates. Can't see how I'm going to go back to work on Monday. Can't even sit on a chair for five minutes at the moment. Stupid q but can you even get a dr's note for the likes of percy? Self cert runs out today but feel like it' such a stoopid embarrassing reason to be off. Dink will really think I'm taking the piss.

Definitely learning to control my impsitis, but it has taken me best part of half hour to write this (grin)

Sorry not to namecheck more, can't read back properly on phone. Will have a nap then bring laptop back upstairs later.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/06/2013 07:38

Octomum ShockShockShock

Seriously I wouldn't mind twins either, triplets not so much as I would have to move house and I'd probably never work again Grin

Just a quick one from me as I'm about to start work. Good luck for today Solars with tests and intralipids if you need them.

I never heard back from the clinic so I assume my bloods are ok.

How are the PUPO's? Smile

Maybe any idea when you will start stimming?

BlindKitty · 14/06/2013 06:08

Twins would be a dream come true (as would one tbh lol). Just think, you'd never have to worry about ttc again!

SweetieTime · 13/06/2013 18:50

Cups could be Octomum with such a high AFC, although Geek could be giving her a run for that title if all the little follies popped.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/06/2013 17:14

Woah woah woah! One bambino is enough for me though I'd secretly love twins

So pleased your levels are doing so well Solars

keepitgoing · 13/06/2013 16:33

Did you get a frostie in the end solars? I can't remember. When's your scan? It sounds like hcg is increasing in a textbook fashion :)

'Happy with one'. Understatement of the century! :)

Solars · 13/06/2013 15:44

oh yes then it's Maybe with sextuplets and Cups with that huge afc count having septuplets(?)! Grin

I would be happy with one Geek but twins is appealing, considering I'm 40 (!!) and i'm not sure i could cope with going through icsi all over again for our second...
