Thanks Solars, you are very wise Grin. It's a funny old process, but youre right, you need to give it the best chance.

Can I ask you what your clinic said about protein? Mine have said I need a high protein diet, especially due to my high OHSS risk, but when I asked them yesterday how much protein, they couldn't really say! I have already been having a glass of milk and 2 eggs most days. I just want o know what I could be putting in to get the best eggs!

Yes I know what you mean about losing control especially when you are doing ivf, you are at the mercy of the clinic so get why you need to have to do the other things. But you also need to look at it as giving it your best shot and if that means 'slacking' on some of the other things then so be it. I didn't totally slack as I also felt like I needed to be in control of some things. But do take some 'me' time to relax. I used the relaxation cd's which helped me.

Ah, hope the bloods are all good tomorrow. I know I shoud be resting, but I'm struggling with it. I feel if I don't achieve a 10k run, 6k walk with the dog and all household chores then I am being useless. I know that probably doesn't make much sense, but I don't feel I have any control and I'm beating myself up a bit over it Sad

It can be very tiring, rest as much as you can. I'm feeling ok, just taking one day at a time. I'm in again for bloods tomorrow. No scan date yet but hoping it will be towards the end of next week sometime.

I think so Solars. I feel a little overwhelmed today. And I'm absolutely shattered. I didn't think the treatment would take as much of a physical toll on me as it has.

How are you feeling? Have you got a date for your scan yet?!

just to say that I still had cramps moodyness etc like I normally do when af is coming even after I got my (early) bfp and was convinced that I was going to be caught by af and was cursing myself for testing early.
geek don't give up hope yet.

Geek :( I'm still brooking lots for you lovely. Remember that AF symptoms and diffed symptoms are cruelly similar. I'm another one who had plenty of AF symptoms before my BFP - cramping, bleeding, aching legs, the general "AF is about to hit"-ness. Keeping everything crossed for OTD for you.

Maybe, how exciting! Hurrah for lots of follies - and a text book uterus has to be something to be proud of..!

Geek :( I had night sweats and a little bit of cramping too before my test date. I don't think you can really tell right now, our clinic also said even if you have a bit of spotting it doesn't mean you aren't pg. You still have a couple of days for otd so I am still brooking loads for you.

Smegs otd is official test date!

Otcomum Maybe of course you won't explode, just remember to drink lots of water!

Oh geek Sad. I haven't given up hope though - brooking that you get a BFP from the clinic. I'm not sure of all the new acronyms here, would you say OTD?

Thanks ladies. I hope you don't mind me not name checking you all, but I've read everything and really appreciate all of your lovely words. I am sure about today's result. I hadn't tested the trigger out with FRER, just ICs and Morrisons Own. I can safely say both are rubbish. FRER are far and away the most sensitive of the tests (I tested with one of everything yesterday and FRER was the only one with even a sniff of a line). Lots of cramps, bloating and night sweats here, all perfectly normal indicators of impending AF for me.

I did like the idea of me POTSS (peeing on the same stick) to check the result, but no I definitely used a new stick of the same brand as yesterday's. It even came from the same twinpack box.

Good luck with all the forthcoming scans, tests, stabbings etc. I will be popping by from time to time to check on you all :)

Yes Keep I am, 100 units of gonal-f. Nest scan is next Monday, then every other day from there.

Thanks Solars scan went well, I have a text book uterus apparently. They showed it to me in 3D, was pretty amazing. I have loads of follies already. 18 on the left, 16 on the right Shock. Start stimming tomorrow PM
