I'm in Camp Cringe when it comes to dressing dogs up, I'm afraid. I even find it weird when people insist on putting coats on dogs because it's a little bit chilly or rainy. I can understand it with greyhounds because they genuinely feel the cold very easily but ffs a golden retriever does not need a tartan lined frigging wax jacket on!

'why aren't you drinking' etc etc there's only so many times I can say antibiotics. I wish could drive just to have that as an excuse.

Re hairdressers, I had a similar thing with mine but more because I had talked to her about the IVF and everything, it's all she wanted to talk about last time it failed I text her and said it hadn't worked but I dont really want to talk about it and she seems to have got the message - maybe you could let her know you've had a couple of disappointments lately but you don't want to discuss it [i know disappointment doesn't even touch it but it saves getting into too involved a conversation]

face my friend used to have a border collie who used to LOVE wearing a bandana around his neck (probably not very safe but hey ho). He used to sulk when you took it off!!!

oh I luffs a dog in clothes (i know I know) I can't help myself! my mum,has a westie who has a fair few items we love to dress her up in. I love the little hooded dressing gown she has sooo cute. its never bothered her wearing clothes I think she quite likes it.

face why don't you just cheat on her this one time? Like you say your fridge takes loads of upkeep and you'll need another trim soon, by which time you'll feel loads more comfortable with the pregnancy?

scarlett not one to normally find animals dressed up amusing but there was the CUTEST pug on hol. Sits on a bar stool wearing a basketball vest. Clearly the owners use him to get customers to go in but afraid it worked!!!! Seemed perfectly happy though with everyone fussing over him all the time.

I'm currently putting off getting my hair done, my fringe is awful. I have a full fringe so takes a lot of up keep. trouble is I've known my hairdresser for yrs we worked together, had nights out together etc and she's always come to the house to do my hair since I left 5yrs ago. babies always comes in to the conversation there's always someone we know whose pregnant/ just had one. her bf also has a little boy from a previous relationship. so far I've never said anything to her. if she asks I just say yes one day soon hopefully. last time I saw her I was 12wks pregnant but knew something was wrong so I didn't tell her. thing is I'm sick of lying. I'm not sure how many times I can fob her off and pretend I'm not that bothered. I might have to find a new hair dresser.

When I had a break from MN a whole ago I left the brookers group and deleted most people too it felt a bit like suddenly loads of people got diffed and as thd brookers graduated there were new people from ante on there who I didnt know too...

ah no I left facebook a while ago. shame I miss out seeing all the brooker dogs and babies. yes both make me equally happy!

well the 5wk make has come round a lot quicker this time thank god. I have turned in to a complete animal with my wind though and am also completely knackered. still in bed! was supposed to get up and go to the gym!

oh my god! oh my god! how did I not know this, I love pugs and all pug crosses. I've been trying to convince dh that we should get one but he thinks their ugly . he wants some kind of wolf/ husky type thing.

I've got a Jug; half Pug half Jack Russell but now I can't call him puppydog anymore [he's 1.5 yrs old now] I call him pugdog

He is toooootally adorable and spoiled to bits and I don't care what anyone says about baby substitutes he is mine
