oh god I've missed loads.
cups its always hard starting a new job but you'll be at home there in no time!
extra brooking for geek and beedle!
I've just had a scan. 6+4 which is right. I was so relieved when he said there was a heartbeat!
am completely knackered as I bearly slept last night.

Tis early days still, anything can still happen with my embies. Geek they recommended icsi for us because of DH's 'dizzy' sperm last time, when I spoke to the embryologist yesterday, before they started the icsi, they said the sample was good and didn't elaborate any further, so who knows. It is still early days for you and I had quite a big growth spurt towards the end with 2 extra follicles joining the party.

solars that is amazing!!! I don't think we've had a 100% brooker fertilisation yet, have we? Definitely one for the brooking record book :) Are you doing IVF or ICSI? With eggs and sperm as fertile as that you can't lose Grin

beedle that is odd about MrB, maybe he felt he was in a position where it was easier to tell the truth than to not, iykwim? It is good for our chaps to be able to get things off their chest, hopefully it will help. I wouldn't worry too much about his boss and your boss swapping info, I am sure they both understand confidentiality.

maybe hope you are having a brilliant holiday and that it's a bit warmer and sunnier in Italy than it is here right now!

Thanks ladies, the next scan is Friday afternoon. They didn't have any appointments at all on Friday so have had to double-book me with another lady and will try to squeeze me in between appointments. Even the nurses were very surprised at my low numbers, given my AMH being so high. I know there is still some time to go, EC won't be until a week on Friday at the earliest, but I thought maybe they would at least increase my stim dose (I'm on 150).

Keep they did mention that if it came to it they could freeze whatever grew and put back in an unmedicated cycle, but that my cons may feel I need another op to remove the polyp in advance of doing that.

Geek there is time for lefty to catch up, I'm brooking like billio for you!! Also brooking that your polyp just stays where it is, doesn't move, doesn't change preferably it can f the f off to the far side of f!!!

Geek you've still a way to go for follies to grow and as Keep pointed out there are still options for you if the polyp causes a nuisance. I'm brooking like crazy all will still be ok. When is the next scan?

Keep so far it's 200% better than our last cycle!

Cups I have also got lost even with the sat nav Hmm

geek there's a long way to go, I'm brooking the left wakes up! Don't worry about putting the embys back. If it does grow they could always freeze them till the polyp reduces enough. Argh, though, I'm sorry it wasn't better news.

Brillint news solars!!! Breaks out into divide embies divide dance

Not too good at todays scan. Nothing worth writing home about on the left ovary ( the one the could def retrieve from) and just 4 on the right with no guarantee of retrival from it. My uterine polyp has regrown and if it grows much more, or in the wrong firection the may not be able to return the embies ( if we get that far). Got to start on cetrotide tonight and continue with same level of stims til friday. EC def won'y be before next friday now so the schedule I gave dink yesterday needs to go back by two days.

Ooh Solars excellent news!

Geek I couldn't get my cigarette lighter fixed but I did find an auto electrician who hard wired the power lead into my dashboard. It's still working so far Smile however my sat nav couldn't find one of the streets I needed yesterday so I was circling a one way system for ages!

Beedle it's good that DH has someone to talk to about it if he needs to. I wouldn't worry too much, I doubt his boss would say anything. I had to tell my new boss on my first day as part of my risk assessment. Luckily he didn't really know anything about how it works and didn't seem to want to know!

Beedle men are strange creatures, my DH was adamant he was not going to tell any of his colleagues about all of this but with having to take time off at short notice he told a couple of them and found out both of them had also been through ivf! Yes don't let it stress you, just make sure you stay in a good frame of mind.

Geek lovely I'm so glad your talk with dink boss went well, it can make a whole difference to this whole procedure.

Cups I'm sure you will get in the swing of things before you know it.

You guys have done your magic again, I got the call this morning I actually missed their call at about 8:10 so had to wait 'til the main office opened to call back so all 6 have fertilised and are doing well. Transfer may be on Friday or Sunday. They will call me back tmrw to let me know how they are doing. I am tentatively optimistic but it's still early days.

beedle I think its unlikely dh boss would mention it, but even if he does they'll realise they made a boo boo, and he wouldn't say anything to you, iyswim. Good for dh to talk about it too, I'd think.
Yes, don't stress about it. You almost told him anyway, so it doesn't matter.

careful geek we can't have you thinking dink boss is a nice guy :o I'm glad it went well yesterday.

MrB told me yesterday that he has told his boss and his colleague that he shares an office with about our treatment. I don't really mind, its good he has someone to talk to ( I have you lovely ladies to give me the support I need). But part of me thinks Hmm he didn't want me to tell my boss and now he's told his. And whilst I know that his boss and my boss shouldn't ever discuss these things I'm slightly concerned that his boss will say something thinking that my boss knows (we work for the same company and his boss sits fairly near to me and my boss). Oh well I won't let myself get stressed about it

Well AFM I've been super busy with my new job. I've been trying not to stress about it all and failing. I need to learn so much, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I worked in A & E all last week which was a real shock to the system. This week I'm in community so it's the complete opposite. I've been lost a several times today. Oh well at least it's keeping me distracted from the whole ttc malarkey Smile

Managed to get through the meeting with dink boss with the aid of my trusty spreadsheet Grin I don't think I gave too many details away, and he seems happy enough with the time I'm proposing to take off and also that things may change at short notice. He even let me bring forward the week's annual leave like I wanted so that I can have a good cry celebrate the results in private.
