ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 14:20

thanks cartoon Grin

solars wow, that is a staggering improvement since your last cycle. How are you feeling? I'm glad I'm not the only one searching for a BFP on the front of a car hehehe Good luck for your daily drug intake, I hope they treat you kindly.

beedle good point - I stocked up with a couple of extra twinpacks at the weekend, too Grin I now have more than enough to do one a day from the day after trigger only half kidding Place your bets as to which one will give me my BFP!

GreenOlives · 31/05/2013 14:13

You dropped off my TIO whilst I was on my holibobs! What's been going on ladies? You chat too much for me to attempt catching up properly on the last 2 weeks! Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 14:03

geek sorry you haven't found a BFP numberplate - I can't believe you've been looking out for one though :o I'm sure yours is waiting to appear on one of your many sticks.

Solars · 31/05/2013 14:02

Sweetie I've not got a whole lot planned unfortunately, I have to go in for a blood test on Sunday as they want to check progesterone levels are doing ok. I've got a bit work which has piled up so will tackle that next week. But I think I'll be reading, cooking, baking and tv watching I think. hopefully not too much googling However I am on a whole new regime of drugs now to be taken throughout the day which I am sure is going to keep me busy in remembering them all!

Geek compared to last time we got 3 eggs, I think it was a 2 or 3 day transfer and I think it was a 3/4 cell embryo, the other 2 had already dwindled by then. So this time was 100 times better than that.

Beedle lovely you will be fine I too have been looking out for BFP number plates

think there should have been a comma in there between 3 and congratulations. You are not limited to 3 congratulations :o

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 13:59

ooh solars 3 congratulations on being PUPO you do realise we'll be making jokes about sextuplets now I'm brooking my socks off that one or more of them stick. Hope you can rest without stressing about it all for the next 2 weeks, and if you can, can you tell me how to do when its my turn next week?

cartoontrickster · 31/05/2013 13:57

pregnant until proven otherwise yay! brilliant news.

ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 13:53

PS what's PUPO? Not come across that one before...

ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 13:48

ooooh solars!!!! That is scary brilliant! Less than 1% is a fair risk to take, and it does give you the very best possible chance of success. The division rate sounds fantastic, too. How does that compare with your last cycle?

I have beens scouring car number plates looking for my BFP. The nearest I have been able to get is B... ZNP - not quite the message from fate that beedle got, but heck I'm taking what I can get Grin

SweetieTime · 31/05/2013 13:47

Solars congratulations that it all went well. You have to go with what the consultant recommend. that is what you are paying for. I hope the dreaded 2ww wizzes past for you. do you have any plans apart from sitting with your feet up?

Solars · 31/05/2013 13:40

Thank you everyone I am now PUPO with 3(!!) on board. It was really hard to decide, as this morning both DH and I were saying 2. DH unfortunately couldn't come with me. When I got there the consultant recommended 3, 1 was at 8 cells above average, 1 at 7 cells average and the rest below average with 3 at 5 cells and 1 at 2 cells. She said given my age, endo length of time we'd been trying that 3 would give us the best option and chance of triplets is less than 1%, so having also spoken to DH on the phone we went with 3!!!! Now the dreaded wait, but for now I feel calm and feel that we've given ourselves the best possible chance.

Beedle excellent news on EC on Monday, sounds like timing has worked out perfectly for you.

Geek lovely you will be ok promise. The hormones are also taking effect too.

Mwahaha beedle that is so funny about messaging here first! Sounds like fate it bringing everything together for you at just the perfect time. Brooking for MrB, and I am sure MrG would send brooking thoughts his way also if I told him as he's really struggling with having his date with the pot at my EC. In MrG's words, 'my boys don't like the pot Sad'

Right, I have booked myself a bikini wax for 12 days after EC, ie the day that AF would be due if I wasn't injecting myself silly, and will shortly be pumping myself full of bum bullets. (Not intentially by the way, that's just the way the dates worked out)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 12:45

Actually I'm really impressed that the days I booked as holiday from work about a month ago have turned out to be exactly the right days Shock
MrB has a date with jar at 9am on Monday, you may direct some brooking vibes towards him as he's really not looking forward to it.

Oh and is it bad that I started writing the message to tell you lot about the time for EC before I sent MrB a text to tell him Blush :o

ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 12:40

ooh beedle fab news!! How exciting Grin and perfect timing for you, with Thursday being a holiday and everything. Oooh brooking for you my lovely! Does MrB have an appointment time for his part or does he do that while you are undergoing EC?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 12:32

had my phone call EC will be monday, I think around 08:30 as we have to be there at 07:30.

I'm glad its Monday as I'll get an extra day to recover after they put one back (i hope, at least one will work surely!) on Wednesday as Thur is a holiday here.

Feeling quite excited now :o

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 31/05/2013 11:47

I'm 31, I think Maybe is under 30 and Keep is a similar age to me. I wanted to have my first before I hit the big 30 Hmm

Hope everything is going well Solars

Work is going ok, I did some home visits myself the other day which went well. It's my day off so I'm out doing lots of jobs. I just had a panic attack at the bank as I thought my phone had been stolen. I left it in the car Blush

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 11:36

I think some of the post grads are quite young cartoon

ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 11:20

Not sure about keep and maybe, cartoon, but I think most of the rest of us are the wrong side of thirty.

cartoontrickster · 31/05/2013 10:37

we're discussing the average age of a brooker next door, so I've come to investigate. am I the youngest at 27?!

keepitgoing · 31/05/2013 10:00

Sore until about 8 weeks, so get used to it!

ControlGeek · 31/05/2013 09:46

Haha beedle good bit of comedy timing there Grin You're not a freak for not being overly emotional, you are doing amazingly well.

Thanks keep, it's good to know this is normal for stims!

aww cartoon big hug back. Well done on your heartbeat, that must be so reassuring for you. Not too long to wait for your next one, either. Brooking for a good one!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 09:33

xpost with keep

I didn't just remember she had said something about sore norks 2 minutes earlier :o

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2013 09:31

geek you're not dim to not realise that they would grow teh eggs to day 5 for freezing, my clinic won't. They will transfer at day 2 and any that they consider good enough for freezing will be frozen then too. though if your clinic does try to go to day 5 they will probably do so for any eggs that might be frozen IYSWIM.

No sore norks here but I think I remember keep saying she had them during stimming (on onwards) so maybe its a good sign :o I have been slightly constipated but I thought it was due to all the eggs I have been eating (for the protein :o )

Sorry you're still feeling so emotional (now I'm feeling a bit of a freak for not being emotional about it at all - see there's always something to worry about Hmm )

cartoontrickster · 31/05/2013 09:29

so excited for solars! good luck.
big hug for geek I'm sure its just all a bit much isn't it your allowed to have a cry. I'm so happy though that finally its happening for you!
cups how's work? my next scan is on the 10th June when I should be 8+2. on all my meds same as before. ill also be scanned at around 11wks by the fetal medicine consultant for like a full 'structural' check on baby.
its all go here isn't it. I keep losing track!
oh beedles phone call later too!

keepitgoing · 31/05/2013 09:27

Sore norks, YES.! And I think constipation is v normal too. geek just take it one step at a time. Don't think beyond the next scan.

Good luck solars!!
