Morning ladies.

Good luck cups for getting accepted this cycle. They daren't not - they should know we brookers are on the case.

They managed to get 8 eggs, mostly from the good ovary. There were a few on the top of the ovary that they just couldn't reach. MrG has also done his bit, and seemed pleased with what he achieved. He's not been asked for another sample yet, though it said in our leaflet they may need a second. It's now all in the hands of the embryologist. Should find out tomorrow about fertilisation.

SweetieTime · 06/06/2013 09:55

Good luck for today geek I am Brooking for a great supply of golden eggs

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 06/06/2013 08:55

Good luck Geek for today

I had a nice night thanks. I'm a bit tired now as got to bed pretty late.

AF is due in a couple of days, I've got all the usual signs so I really want her to get a move on so I can request treatment again.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/06/2013 08:37

Good luck today Geek brooking for many a golden egg.

Thanks Beedle I seem to still have quite a bit. But panicking I am not Wink. How are you feeling you PUPO person you?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/06/2013 07:05

Good luck today geek

cups hope you had a lovely time last night

maybe I also had some liquid left in my menopur vials when I had already taken the amount they theoretically had in them.

ControlGeek · 06/06/2013 05:28

Bleurgh - been up well over half an hour. This time of the day ought to be illegal :(

Thanks Maybe I'm busy beautifying before MrCups gets home Grin

Geek you still need to avoid chicken pox if pregnant whether you have had it or not. I thought if you hadn't had it then I would recommend you speaking to the clinic as I can imagine if you developed it before ET it might cause them to cancel the cycle. But that's not the case with you so I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.

ControlGeek · 05/06/2013 17:17

Beedle, I'm sorry, I thought you'd had ivf. But you have two good'uns getting comfy, and another in the freezer. All will be fine xx

Cup yes I've had chicken pox but didn't know if that made any difference. Had a lovely reply on my fred though so feeling better about it now.

Sorry, am on phone so can't read back and have already forgoten everythimg I have read!

Well, I am now free for a week and two days, yay! Am alrrady enjoying an injection free evening, and weirdly looking forward to tomorrow.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/06/2013 16:48

Happy anniversary Cups hope you have a lovely meal. I didn't speak to anyone decided I should stop worrying. I know how to draw up half a ml in a syring, I've done it enough times Grin so I think you are right, it must just be overfilled in case of people losing some.

Beedle this is the best news! I am sure those embies are making themselves comfy as we speak. Have yo got a nice relaxing evening planned?

Boo you are right, tis Geek next, then me. How is booby?

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 05/06/2013 16:34

Well done Beedle you and Solars are now PUPO Smile with Sweetie you will be able to start your own multiple gang!
Some of the information I've been given by my clinic mentions the risk of none or low numbers fertilising with ICSI. I think even though its low risk it can go wrong when injecting into the egg. The leaflet points out that and the risks of losing eggs when trying to get to blasto.
I'm brooking for a super quick tww.

Geek have you had chicken pox? Have you called the clinic? I personally wouldn't be particularly concerned as you haven't had any direct contact. It's easy for me to say though as I'm around sick kids all day so I get a bit complacent!! Btw I've never had chicken pox, I've had the vaccine but have not developed antibodies when last checked. I quite often see kids with something else wrong & the mum will suddenly pipe up that they also have chicken pox! It makes for an interesting few weeks anxiously waiting to get it Grin I never have though.
I hope MrG's job is safe but it's good that you have options for the worst case scenario.

Maybe lovely to have you back! Sorry to hear you've had rubbish symptoms from down regging. Hopefully it will get better with stimming. I often find at work that the amount in drug vials can be more than it should be. Did you manage to speak to anyone about it?

It's our wedding anniversary so we are off out for a meal

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/06/2013 16:33

Well done Beedle, now you're a pupo it's time to put your feet up! Brooking for the Beedle 2 and the Solars 6 3 Wink

You're next Geek then is it Maybe? Can't keep up with you all.

keepitgoing · 05/06/2013 16:12

beedle well done, now rest up. Try not to think about it, you could ask more questions if it fails.

WHICH IT WON'T. We are brooking right behind you.

It's fate so you can be twin buddies with sweetie

BeedlesPineNeedles · 05/06/2013 15:26

No geek that was with ICSI. They couldn't /wouldn't say if it was an egg problem or a sperm problem. But we'll see what happens.
I'm feeling a bit better now but it came as quite a shock to be told it had gone so badly and have to decide if we should put 2 back. When they had previously told us they would almost certainly only put one back.

SweetieTime · 05/06/2013 15:25

Beedle congratulations on being a PUPO. Try not to worry as this IVF is a black art and sometimes against the odds it all comes together. Try to take it easy. I am Brooking that your little embies are making themselves very comfortable for the next 8.5 months

ControlGeek · 05/06/2013 15:10

beedle yay, go you! You're IVF rather than ICSI, right? Fertilisation rates are usually reported to be lower with IVF, but with the same pregnancy rate. I think it's because ICSI gives those eggs that are not normally viable a chance to get as far as fertilisation, whereas you have a genuine fertilisation rate if that makes sense?

Brooking like crazy for you!

Solars · 05/06/2013 14:42

Beedle congrats on being pupo and please stay positive lovely. I have heard so many stories that not so good embies can still get you pregnant and equally people who have had brilliant embies put back have not got pregnant, you just can't tell what will happen! I'm brooking for you x

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 05/06/2013 14:30

Yay! Beedle you're pupo! Try not to worry. You had embies and we are brooking for them. You may be the next twin brooker!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 05/06/2013 14:28

Well the good news is I am PUPO

But only 3 of the eggs even fertilized any they were all a bit crap, so they put 2 back. I'm not feeling very hopeful.

ControlGeek · 05/06/2013 12:56

Good luck beedle! Brooking my socks off for you to have max returnees and frosties xxx

SweetieTime · 05/06/2013 11:44
