Oh Maybe you seem to be having it rough on these drugs, are you drinking plenty of water? Not long to go, this time round i stimmed for 10 days before triggering. And if you ever fancy a mini meet up in London let me know, these days I'm in London every couple of days because of the clinic.

Keep I'm just outside London in Hertfordshire

Ooh kitty are you in brum too? Fabbo!! This is gonna be an epic meet up!
solars where are you?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/06/2013 08:33

Kitty have you been given a date yet for your IUI? It's so hard waiting isn't it?!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/06/2013 08:32

Cups that sounds amazing!! I hope the sun comes out for you. Not long at all the wait till you start!! I hope it's much kinder to you than it has been to me Smile

I am excited about this meet up brookers. London is always good for me too Solars as its just a normal commute! But I am very happy to come to Birmingham. I haven't been for years! and I don't think the NEC counts

Good luck for your appointment today Geek

Keep it's not long at all now till you're back!! Hurrah!

Sneeze Sparks, sneeze Grin

Thanks for all the dancing ladies. I feel really sick today on top of the headaches and tiredness. And I don't think the fact that it is unbearable muggy outside helps!

BlindKitty · 21/06/2013 08:25

Oh is it geek's otd???? Got everything crossed for you babs xxx

BlindKitty · 21/06/2013 08:24

sparkle brum? Really? You don't live here though do you? Or am I thinking of geek? Totally up for a meet up, just say when!

cups I'm massively annoyed with myself for being so saintly (at the time when you had to pay the remainder of the glasto ticket). Had a pang of conscience and decided not to go as didn't want to fill my body with toxins pre iui. Now being told iui will be some time in sept Angry and have to listen to all my friends excitedly going on about it!!!!

SweetieTime · 21/06/2013 08:09

Geek thinking of you today

Beedle progesterone didn't stop my af arriving on my first ivf either

cup enjoy Glastonbury, I hope you have your wellies packed Grin

Birmingham is only 2 hours ish from me too and you lovely lot are definitely worth the journey Wink Wink Wink

Solars · 21/06/2013 08:04

Geek I'm brooking for you too this morning.

Beedle lovely to see you around. Really pleased that you have a plan and a way forward for the next cycle. Do you get a follow up after the last one before you start again in October? Do give yourself time to process the last cycle. I thought I was ok straight after our first failed cycle and it didn't hit me properly until 2 weeks later. Take care of yourself and MrB x

Cups you party girl, you! Enjoy Glastonbury it will certainly take your mind off things before you start.

Joins the grow follie, grow dance for Maybe

I would love a meet up, a London one would be great for me, but depending on dates etc could easily drive up for a midlands one!

Hi beedle I'm so sorry that it was a BFN for you in the end. It's interesting actually that the progesterone (urgh to all that btw) didn't stop you bleeding. I don't know if that'll stop the mentalling in the future or make it worse. Anyway, I'm so glad that you have your next cycle booked, with a bit of time for your FCFU bfp in the meantime just in case. Having the summer off, some holidays and some time thinking of other things sounds like a plan. geek's right that it's a numbers game. Try again, brook no argument, and you'll get there.

geek I am brooking madly for your OTD today. But if it's a no, then I am just super impressed with your plan and your positivity.

sparks, d'uh. Of course the meet up with be after Twinks is born. Because that's just a little bit imminent isn't it?!?! Happy due date today! Have you tried poking the top of the bump to annoy him??

Anyway, I'm not home till late July and will be then trying to find a house. Can we look maybe at late August? I'm hoping for cuddles from Twinks, Booby and Biscuits' little one. Yummy scrummy you guys had better make sure no brooker runs off with your baby

cups wow that sounds awesome to work at glastonbury - how did you get that? What will you be doing? I've always wanted to go, but the tickets are mega pricy. I love camping, and festivals. I'm really looking forward to camping again when we get home. My sister just went camping last week at 36 weeks. I thought she was crazy, but she said a proper blow up bed is actually more comfortable in late pregnancy. Who knew.

brooking for maybe

Maybe there's just something in the water here!!! Best just drink bottled water when you come if you ever want to get preggers lol!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 20/06/2013 22:40

Wow, is Birmingham like some sort of brooker central?? Apparently I can get to Birmingham in about 1.5/2 hours if I drive, dunno about trains yet.

BlindKitty · 20/06/2013 22:33

Birmingham!!!! Can I come???? Smile

BlindKitty · 20/06/2013 20:53

Hey guys!!! Midlands brooking meet up you say??????

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 20/06/2013 19:40

Ps I would be up for a meet up (work permitting as I work weekends) Birmingham is not too far for me on the train Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 20/06/2013 19:39

Evening Brookers

Beedle and Geek I'm so sorry this first cycle hasn't worked. I wish none of us had to go through this. Life seems so unfair at times. Beedle I really hope the next few months fly by and that you have lots of nice distracting things planned. It's good you have a date planned so there is no uncertainty about the next cycle.

Geek that's great news about MrG kids. I'm curious about having some private tests done as well so I may be picking your brains about it in a few months time.

Maybe I think I'll be using the same meds as you. I'm DR with burselin and I think it's gonal f for stimms. I go in for my teach on the 1st and start injections that day.

I don't know if I've mentioned but I'm going to glastonbury. I'm working the festival. I am not prepared at all as I kept thinking I would end up having to back out due IVF. We are going to have to come back early on Sunday night as our teach appointment is at 09:00 on the Monday Shock the bonus is ill be so busy with work and partying that the 1st July will be here before I know it Grin

Hope everyone else is doing well

SweetieTime · 20/06/2013 19:37

Geek I have sent you a pm, not that I wouldn't share the costs on here but wanted to put it in context for you. You will see from the pm.

ControlGeek · 20/06/2013 19:03

What is it with work expecting you to actually do work on your last afternoon before annual leave, eh?

Oooh so many takers on meet-ups across the country! Exciting Grin

beedle (((huge hugs))) for you. I'm so sorry that today confirmed your BFN, but thrilled that you are already booked in for your next cycle. That is so positive, and really gives you something to look forward to. How is MrB handling everything? It really is a numbers game and us first-timers have that against us

SweetieTime · 20/06/2013 18:06

Geek great news on MrG kids front. I know it might be a bit soon for you and I don't mean to be insensitive but if you have any questions on donor cycles let me know. I think we might go see Superman tomorrow or Startrek, depends on timings of the showings.

Maybe good luck with the stimming, won't be long now until you know how you are getting on. I watched the Rick Stein in India on TV earlier this week, I wouldn't dare eat some of the things he did. I always wonder if the spices are the same over here that he uses on the show.

Beedle hope you are doing ok, you seem to be quite positive on the next steps. Do they do any more tests in the meantime or have they given any feedback of what to do differently next time?

Munxx · 20/06/2013 18:06

So sorry beedle but I am starting the brooking for October now! By the time that cycle comes around the brooking will be so fierce and plenty that a BFP is guaranteed.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/06/2013 17:55

I'm so sorry Beedle. You're being so strong. You really make Crinone sound sexy Wink. So pleased you have a plan of action.

Sparks of course we are waiting! I need newborn snuggles!
