Morning brookers!

Solars, how are you feeling this morning?

Quick update on the science experiment, I think the tests are finally clear - 9 days after taking the trigger. Definitely longer than I'd expected, given the dose. Even up to yesterday the ic lines were clearly there, but the morrisons one was a struggle to see.

DinoSnores · 12/06/2013 23:01

solars, what wonderful news!!! Just delighted for you!

GreenOlives · 12/06/2013 22:02

Biscuitsandtea · 12/06/2013 20:21

Not TTC Cartoon just missed y'all Grin

cartoontrickster · 12/06/2013 20:15

biscuits I'm pretty sure I remember you. but I think we only met briefly maybe... I've been a broker just over a year now. are you TTC again or just couldn't bear to be parted from us any longer Grin .
ooo I like treats cups

Biscuitsandtea · 12/06/2013 19:58

Cartoon I think I remember you but I may have been a grad or post grad when you joined the brookers? Can't remember when you appeared? I found the brookers about 2 years ago now, having been TTC baby no 2 for about 18 mths at that time. The power of brooking worked wonders and I got a BFP the first month I was brooking. That BFP is now my DS2 who is 15 mths now so it was a while ago that I was knocking around. More recently I could be found on the ante natal and post natal threads Smile

I sort of fell off the map at Christmas (nothing bad in rl for those wondering, it was a MN / FB / outing issue - happy to explain in a PM to anyone wondering. Can't remember who asked me earlier today so sorry I've not responded, I can't pm v easily from my phone Blush)

So anyway, I think I remember you but you may well not remember me as I was probably just whizzing in and out periodically. So, lovely to meet you in conclusion Grin

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 12/06/2013 19:57

Solars I hope you are busy celebrating with DH now. I bet he is over the moon Smile

I'm jealous of the spinach lasagne. I've never tried it but I love spinach and I love lasagne so I'm sure I would be a fan. We are having stir fry for tea.

Lovely name suggestions, I really like sunbeam. Trix how about Treats for your little one? I can't think of anything to do with cartoons.

cartoontrickster · 12/06/2013 19:30

I vote sunbeam! hope your having a lovely evening with dh now solars
my bean still doesn't have a nickname feel free to make any suggestions!
I get to start weaning off my steroids on Sat when I'm 9wks. I'm on bum candles till 16weeks though, grim about the fanjo gunk btw I couldn't bring myself to click the blog link. ill also have 2 more intralipids.
cups sounds like you did really well today. brooking for you.
geek sorry about the percys, not nice..
I love that weve had so many visitors lately its lovely when we're all together. but I can't think if I remember biscuits or not Blush

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 12/06/2013 19:06

Hmm might have been a bit off the mark suggesting Ray Blush but yes to sunny or sunbeam!!

So pleased for you Solars

cartoontrickster · 12/06/2013 18:33

I'm going to spend sometime reading back and hopefully post properly in abit its been moving so fast here I can't keep up.
dunno if anyone remembers me moaning ages ago about work. I work with my family and as soon as me and dh were pregnant first time my maternity leave replacement was hired very quickly. it always bothered me a little (even though she's lovely) as it just served as a reminder of what I'd lost and ment that most of my day I had nothing to do. too much time to think and mental at work is not good. it was like this for just over a year. anyway she got a new job and finished on Friday. so I have my old job backGrin . so I am now busy all day! I like it but its rather inconvenient for keeping up with mn!

ControlGeek · 12/06/2013 18:21

Ooh yes, we need a name! sunbeam or sunny, definitely Grin

Mmmmm biscuits I lurve spinach lasagne. Might have to put that on the list for the weekend.

And yum to fajitas, too, boo - sour cream and guacamole? Got to be done, although I've now got a bit of a craving for garlic bread, thinking about the spinach lasagne!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 12/06/2013 18:15

Fajitas at chez boo tonight :)

Wow Solars well done for keeping calm and sane doing what you did today with just us for company. Might I make an nearly suggestion for baby Solars name?? I'm thinking ray or sunbeam Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 12/06/2013 17:51

Yes, well done Solars - you've been through a lot today and to do it on your own well, with just us for company Wink is jolly impressive. Bet you can't wait to see MrS tonight Smile

Geek we're having spinach lasagne - first time I've managed to get my arse in gear and cook an actual meal for ages! Grin

ControlGeek · 12/06/2013 17:44

solars I am in Shock at your self-control - you mean you have spent the entire day on your own, including the trip to the clinic? Fair play to you (and in your condition, too)!

keep I didn't know they had done a Jurassic Park 3D - might have to put it on the list :)

What's everyone having for tea? I am having hot dogs with real sausages because I'm a lazy cah and can't think of anything more imaginative

Solars · 12/06/2013 16:49

Geek I'm not seeing DH until very late this evening unfortunately, he does know though!

I wish I could visit you all and give you big hugs, I don't think I'd have got this far without all your brooking and positive thoughts. I don't think it's still sunk in yet.

Biscuits, Cups is right NK is natural killer cells which were only slightly above what they thought was good for fertility, I was given a dose of intralipids during stimming (similar to Face ) so now they want to check them again in case they are still elevated and if I may need more intralipids during the pregnancy. Will get the results back in a couple of days.

Cups great news on your scan. Afc of 32 Shock I'm sure they will monitor you quite closely but make sure you're drinking plenty of water when you are stimming.

They do daily bloods over the next week to check my hcg levels are still rising so I'm in again tomorrow!

Thanks again and big hugs to Gen, Maybe, Geek, Cups, Scarlett, Face, Smegs, Rubber, Musical, Biscuits, Boo, Sparkes, Keep, Munx, Sweetie and Beedle hope that is everyone I hope the grads are still sticking around, I sure will be until it actually feels real xx

Sore, maybe, but thanks for asking :( I'm embarrassed to say I've only just had the bright idea of moving the laptop up to the bedroom as I was fed up of hovering over the computer chair until my thighs hurt, then having to come up for a lie down to get over it Blush

Hope silence from solars means she is now out with MrS celebrating their good news :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/06/2013 16:26

My AFC was high too Cups I was quite surprised too.

Jurassic park 3D?! Im so jealous Keep Grin

How is Percy tody Geek?

Scarlett so lovely to see you. I hope the pup has a fun hollibob. And you of course Wink

ControlGeek · 12/06/2013 16:11

Hmm paracetamol are obviously getting the better of me. I did of course mean keep Grin

ControlGeek · 12/06/2013 16:10

They didn't do an AFC for me maybe, I had a dildocam on CD2 of this cycle, before starting all my drugs, but I'm not sure why they did it. She didn't root around for my right ovary (it wasn't immediately visible), didn't count anything on the left, or at least didn't mention anything aloud, and just said that I would probably bleed for a few more days as I still had quite a bit of lining to come away. The next scan (after stims had started) counted 4 on the right, none on the left. Everything developed in a bit of a late rush Blush

keepitgoing · 12/06/2013 16:03

Sorry I posted that just before going into the cinema... Jurassic park 3d...

Am still beaming for solars
