Straw poll: do you drink during your 2ww?

Just wondering really, whether you drink during your 2ww?

Or do you wait for AF then indulge? Wink

I've cut back cause I've been trying for ages. At first I carried on as normal. OH has given up completely.

I cut down during the 2WW, but I don't give it up. Much like Frankelly and Skaen I've been TTC a while, so the initial abstemious and angelic behaviour has worn off. Also, I got sick of people giving me knowing raised eyebrows every time I refused a drink - Feck off out of my womb, nosy buggers! I'm just minding my units!

I don't drink massively but might have the odd glass of wine. Two reasons:

  1. 3 years into TTC and I've stopped denying myself things
  2. alcohol will only have an effect on an embryo/foetus once a placenta has developed. This takes about 5-6 weeks

I did but not much. Abstention started to pall after 12 months of not conceiving. I gave up after IVF though, except for day 13 of the 2ww when I had period cramps and pmt. guess what...
