Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

Yeeeaaaaah...should be doing work, hence my appearance here.

My progesterone tests to date have been 'borderline' (29.4, which they decided to round up to 30, so it was 'normal', but let's not get me started on rounding...). I hope these ones are right for you this time!!!

happylass · 12/05/2013 21:42

Evening Bunny! Do you know when you OV? My progesterone was 47. Think the doc says anything over 15 suggests you've probably OVd but they like a level of 30 to be certain that its taken place.

Bunnygirlie · 12/05/2013 21:34

Evening happy and boodle nice to see you on the sofa tonight.

Well I have had bloods on day 24, 20 and now trying day 21. Who knows if this will be right lol

happylass · 12/05/2013 20:45

Bunny did they tell you what your progesterone level actually is? And are you sure you got the test done at the right time? ie 7 dpo?

BoodIeBee · 12/05/2013 20:27

Charming, sorry you are feeling down today - I'm not surprised though, having to spend the day with a preggo. You'll feel better tomorrow and if not, both my cats have joined the carpet-chunder club so they are on standby to go and vom on the floor just next to her bed where she will put her feet first thing in the morning.

Bunny - I don't officially have low progesterone levels yet, but I am pretty sure that I will have when I can track down last month's test results. I finally had bloods done on the 'proper' day last month (i.e. 7 days pre-AF, rather than CD21) but FF never gave me crosshairs, so I may not have Ov'ed at all.

Tally! you bloody stoner What a great find!

Bunnygirlie · 12/05/2013 20:02

Evening all, how's tricks?

Hugs cats sorry you are feeling low

Blood test for me tomorrow, not sure what I am hoping results are, last two showed low progesterone levels. Guess I will go and speak to doc and see what she says. Dud anybody else have low levels?

I've been wondering about supplements like B6 and vitex, but didn't want to start taking anything unsupervised in case it made things worse.
I'm not seeing a fertility consultant yet, as that wouldn't be covered by my insurance and the initial problem was the lack of period for 3 months, so got a referral to a gynaecologist. He mentioned taking medication to kick start ovulation, which I assume is Clomid. He wanted to see what happened between April and July first in case things settled down on their own. I think he's a bit cautious in case of over-stimulating the ovaries.

I'm seeing the reflexologist for the first time tomorrow, so will ask about supplements. She is also a homoeopath and nutritionist and offers a package to ttc-ers. Can't hurt.
I don't know what will happen once I run out of health insurance and whether I can switch to NHS. I may be able to see the same consultant, but it may be different as it's not fc.
glad to have a long cycle buddy boom. Sorry to hear about the new finding on the scan yesterday. Really hope it's something that can be managed for you. I think they should just give you the PCOS diagnosis. Would relevant treatment do you any harm if it turned out that you didn't have it? Probably not.
Feeling very low after the family visit today. started looking at adoption websites as I don't know if I have the courage for IVF and more waiting.
Enjoy the evening!

Tallyra · 12/05/2013 17:31

I'm home. and am feeling nice and mellow. Wink

With all this B6 talk, I'm wondering if that might be my problem with the early AF. I've been taking it in case I get duffed, its supposed to help delay the hg. I usually have a 31/32 day cycle, and this one was 29.....

Cate555 · 12/05/2013 17:20

boom yes think main function is to lengthen LP but people were saying ovulation came a lot earlier with B6 - that's what I'm hoping for as it currently around CD19/20 for me. Anyway i'm taking vitB complex at the moment too which only has 1.4mg of B6 and I think it should really be 50 or 100mg to make any difference.

MrsB00Mbastic · 12/05/2013 16:38

Oh sorry kitty, crossed with you. Promise her we will never make reference to baby dust or any other such ridiculous cutesy-pie bollocks rubbish. If she can stretch to accepting virtual sausage-wanging she should give us a go!

My bump will not be allowed to leave the house when I have one. Until it's 18 at least.

MrsB00Mbastic · 12/05/2013 16:34

I always thought B6 was for lengthening luteal phase Cate? Although feel free to correct me if I'm wrong Hmm..I don't want to lengthen anything if I can help it ha! I take a B complex anyway on acupuncturist's advice along with various other pills and potions - for all the good it's done me!

far more tempted to smoke loads of weed and see if that has any cycle-calming properties...or womb-untwisting properties for that matter

BlindKitty · 12/05/2013 16:32

boom I've tried to convince her but she's having none of it! She's been on before and got put off with all the baby dust stuff (completely understandably).

Imagine travelling with a bump. I'd b worried sick but then I will prob wrap mine in cotton wool when I finally get one

Afraid the cat is still with the instadiffer. She reckons the cat lives her more now she's pregnant, what a traitor!!! Should point out that do live my friend to bits am just mildly extremely jealous Envy

Cate555 · 12/05/2013 15:51

Tally too funny with the weed. Maybe we should all take it put,I might trick my 38 yr old body into thinking its only 28 or younger.

Charming and Boom have you tried taking vitB6? I've been reading up on it started yesterday which was CD1 for me. Supposed to help regulate the hormones and make the cycle more like 28 days

MrsB00Mbastic · 12/05/2013 13:44

Get her in here Kitty! I find it so much easier now than struggling on my own.. and flipping travellers have no business running round being pregnant! Get out!

Tally oooh you rebel you! I do love the smell of weed - takes me right back!

Charming you and I must be ridiculously long cycle buddies. I'm on day 34ish here I think, there was no sign of ovulation at scan yesterday so I'm settling in for the long im patient wait. Hopefully if AF hasn't arrived by June the doc will give me some progesterone to bump her along as I need to start period in time to get hycosy done before gynae clinic!

Frog no need for twee bump pictures. Where is Kitty's cat when you need it?

BlindKitty · 12/05/2013 11:34

You know, a pregnant traveller has just walked in .. can't even escape em here!

Trying to convince my friend to joking mn. The elderberry pavlovas need an invite tab! She's really struggling atm but think I'm only doing better because of you guys xxxx

GooseyD · 12/05/2013 11:16

Grin Sure she's seen worse!

BlindKitty · 12/05/2013 11:02

Oh and speaking of special pots earlier, just remembered I've left mine..full as didn't have any normal testers (until just bought some). Praying the maid won't find it..... Blush

BlindKitty · 12/05/2013 10:34

scone it's a sky Atlantic series but you can rip it off the net. It's a medieval fantasy but FULL of sex! Think dragons, knights, evil kings etc etc. I know tmi coming but it's massively helping with the baby sex drive!!!

cate thanks for the dance but you might need to bust some better moves as the sun is far from out!

So today, given shit weather, decided to go for a nice relaxing massage (£4 and excellent) and then ruined it all by going for a Burger King followed by ordering a Thai rum and coke which worked out so much cheaper if I bought a bottle oops

GooseyD · 12/05/2013 10:25

Charming - you've been about a year off pill/injection/implant haven't you? How long does it normally take to settle down afterwards? Is it Clomid or something else you expect fc to prescribe? Can you switch to NHS when run out of insurance?

Tallyra · 12/05/2013 10:24

ooh. look at me, nicking drugs from a family member... everyone else was still in bed and the upstairs hallway was already smelling very sweet so I figured they could manage with a little less. dh does not approve. especially as I put it in my migraine tablets box!
cricked my neck on the pillows so I hold that he owes me it Wink

CharmingCats · 12/05/2013 10:07

Morning! Had to smile at the muffin eating woofer. I'd love a dog, but think the cats would object. But they are lovely too.
Diffed SIL over with her ds and her parents for lunch in a bit. Haven't congratulated her on her diffment yet, so will have to talk about it. Will give a berry certified response to any nosey questions.
Cd39 and none of my usual af symptoms and a bfn yesterday. Think I'm in for another long one, probably without ov. No way to predict it either, so will have to dtd eod indefinitely! Argh! Got an appointment with gynae in July, so hopefully will get some sweeties. Then will have to stop seeing him as will have run out of insurance cover.
Going for reflex tomorrow. Cannot wait!

GooseyD · 12/05/2013 09:59

Scone I think it is quite high, but it's the change between before and after that's important. Also for me it took me around 2 or 3 cycles before I had it all working properly. Well either they were all annovulatory at first or I was getting it wrong. For me, as I don't sleep so well sometimes trying to take it at same time each day wasn't working. I've settled into taking it whenever I first wake up instead, meaning that times vary (which isn't what's advised but works for me). Quite personal I think, and I felt it just takes a while to get the routine down.

Frogcatcher · 12/05/2013 09:56

Oh tally sorry about AF. Go for it on the weed - medicinal for AF cramps right?! Wink We were at a band night at a pub the other week & I smelt some & it brought back good memories. No chance now or ever again now tho as DP is in the police!

Frogcatcher · 12/05/2013 09:52

Ok folks I have just seen something on Facebook that is even worse than a scan pic. My friend posted a pic of her little girl kissing her bare & very large baby bump with the caption kisses for mummy & baby [surname]. Even as an updiffed person that made me Angry & want to puke. If it had been last month I would have sobbed my heart out.
Thx merkin yes dd according to FF is 13 Jan. Feeling pretty rubbish today actually as feel like coming down with a cold & very achey. One thing no one told me till now is that apparently being pg lowers your immune system so you catch every bug going.

Tallyra · 12/05/2013 09:49

we are leaving shortly and I'm too embarrassed to ask the female flatmate so just making do with loo roll. thank god they gave us an en suite room!

on another nite, house is full of weed... just found a stash in the coffee table. seriously tempted to nick a pinch and rely e my uni days when we get home....
