Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

Can someone copy and paste mine too as on phone?

Blind kitty 33 ttc #1 since wedding June 2011. Had blood tests, sa, Hsg and on 4th round of clomid. Only thing wrong docs can find is slightly lower morph. First round of iui starts next month (I think).

boom I don't know how you cope delivering babies to people who don't even want them. Makes me very sad when there are so many of us who'd make great mums Sad

Foodylicious · 15/05/2013 16:36

what day you on barking?

barkingtreefrog · 15/05/2013 16:33

Argh!! Still no sign of AF despite nasty outbreak of spots and emotion yesterday (sure fire signs it's that day or the next).

This is annoying as I'm waiting for CD1 so I can call and book an HSG. If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow then I probably won't get an appointment by the end of next week and we're supposed to be going away on holiday the week after!!! I don't know how DP will take it if I tell him we're not going on holiday so I can have my HSG! If I don't have it this cycle it won't happen before the fc appointment so I'd have to cancel that and wait my turn for another one. That is NOT an option in my book! I'd rather miss my holiday!!!

Maybe the Vit B6 has lengthened my cycle? Sod's law we didn't manage to dtd in shag week due to not being in the same place or staying in a youth hostel with friends in the same room!!

On the other hand I did want this cycle and next to be longer so I got the fc appointment in before I was potentially able to start the clomid rather than waiting another cycle. So it looks like it may be a case of be careful what you wish for!

How annoying would it be if the HSG falls in the holidays, AND I still get AF for next cycle before the fc appointment?!

Sorry, me me me and need to run out again now, DP's best mate is over from Australia and visiting tonight. Hope all your days improved!! Smile

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 14:02

Hugs boom it will happen for you I'm sure.

Can't copy and paste on my tablet thingy...

Scone 32, married, TTC since May 2012, PCOS diagnosed many years ago. Just started charting temps and OPKs. Will be visiting doctors if no joy this cycle.

MrsB00Mbastic · 15/05/2013 12:16

Hi berries. Sorry to add to the general gloom that appears to be rife today (I blame the British weather..) Just finished a night shift so exhausted. Delivered a woman's 7th baby and she couldn't even be bothered to hold it, made me very unprofessionally angry and upset. Got on the wrong side of my mentor who doesn't like me anyway, and my final interview is tomorrow so that's me with a bad mark for this placement Sad. CD36, AF not showing any signs of rocking up unless general mardiness indicates PMT . Today all I can feel is that maybe I'm just not meant to have kids (this is a fear that has genuinely haunted me since I was a teenager and my periods didn't start when everyone else's did). I probably just need sleep, which is where I'm going now.. if anyone wants to post something cheery in the meantime it would be much appreciated!

Very quickly:

Hi pip, boo to not diffed but yay to new house!
barking hope conehead dog is ok.
scone, sid, I have no idea about opks and lines but hope you managed to dtd on a relevant day!

Here's my addition to the list anyway..

Sidney 38, married, TTC since July 2012. Poss mmc on cycle 4. Bloodwork (CD3/21 progesterone, FSH & LH) & SA done Jan 2013, all well within normal ranges. Dildocam done Feb 2013, all good. GP wants to wait til cycle 14 (now on 11) to refer to FC, but will instead go back after cycle 12 to request referral to go on wait list for whatever tests NHS will do before sending us private, as DH has kids already. Currently only use IC OPKs, CBFM and DTDD (daily), and the gym for stress relief. Thoroughly sick of it all!
Boom 31, married, ttc since May 2012, MC at 10wk in Aug 2012. Progesterone low, testosterone high, FSH and LH ok I think. Maybe PCOS. Dildocam showed bicornuate uterus and one normal/one bulky ovary. Awaiting Dh's SA and my hycosy, cycles all over the shop, will see gynae clinic again 21 June. Waiting for a year since MC so I can go to fertility clinic. Main treatment currently acupuncture (my saving grace!) As fed up as Sid!

SidneyBristow · 15/05/2013 11:12

hugs Tally, your day can only improve from here, right?

Had a faint line on IC OPK this am, CBFM still reads high. Never did start temping and now really wishing I had, bc I've developed a new paranoia that I'm not actually ovulating, despite every indication otherwise. Some days my yearning for a baby is only slightly stronger than my yearning for all this TTC to finally end! how messed up.

Maybe time for a new list? I'm losing track of where everyone is and what they've had done, and when. Would anyone else find that helpful? Here's my info, just in case:

BlindKitty · 15/05/2013 10:53

scone all isn't lost yet. You could easily ov tomorrow. That's why I'm convinced about bbt'ing and opk'ing as doesn't necessarily happen at same time. It's meant to be 24-48 hours after but read that it can be as late as 5 days sometimes and by then most people have stopped dtd.

Sending hugs to Tally, will be our time soon xx

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 10:11

tally hope you have a better day today.

Tallyra · 15/05/2013 08:38

Morning. feeling crap. I was woken up before I even got to sleep by the power shorting out and dh was helpfully already asleep so I had to play with the circuits. in the dark. in the cold. then I had to console the dog because I shouldn't have been downstairs so he wanted to follow me back upstairs. I'm such a softie!
Ambushed by text yesterday by a friend I had forgotten was about to have a baby (well, his wife anyway). It's his fifth. Sad

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 07:41

Morning all,
kitty I agree, vomiting cat needs to be in there!

So, no temp rise for me this morning and a fading line on opk.
Perhaps I'm not ovulating at all. Would explain the lack of baby after a year TTC!

Will see what tomorrows temp says.

BlindKitty · 15/05/2013 05:36

*someone

BlindKitty · 15/05/2013 05:35

tally I think my amazing vomming cat needs a mention!!!

scone a +ve opk doesn't mean your definitely ovulating, just that your about to, hence why it's useful to bbt as well.

frog afraid it's standard practice to transfer people out of their catchment area. It's a Shane they wouldn't see you 10 mins late, people are always late for my clinic and I always end up seeing them.

yorkie I tried Accupuncture but wasn't sure and didn't go back. Can say I was extremely relaxed afterwards for I might start again once my iui starts

In other people's news, so done off the brooking forum has just found out she's having twins after years of trying. Do love a happy ending Smile

Tallyra · 14/05/2013 23:16

by the way, we'll need s new title soon, better get your thinking caps on. I'm a scaredy cat so I'll leave it to you lot.Grin

Tallyra · 14/05/2013 23:10

frog you were only10 mins late and the doctor wouldn't see you, yet they are quite happy to let you sit and wait for hours if they are running late. but then they make the rules. ffs, I really am starting to dislike surgeries.Angry

Pipbin · 14/05/2013 22:51

Ladies. Hello. I'm still alive. Not pg but I've been so busy moving house and stuff I haven't done any opks.

Love you all.

sconeoclock · 14/05/2013 21:58

Bsrkinfs?! Meant barking sorry!

sconeoclock · 14/05/2013 21:57

Thanks all,
My woof sends hugs to bsrkinfs doggy.

OK so did another clear blue opk and still positive, so obviously bought rubbish internet ones.

Talking about dates with dh and we realised today is our 8 year anniversary of when we met so DTD lol

Will see what my temp says in the morning, may just be a longer lh peak than last month.

Maybe DTD in the morning too for luck!

yorkiebilb · 14/05/2013 21:56

Glad to hear your dog is home safe and sound barking

barkingtreefrog · 14/05/2013 21:41

Ta for the support everyone. Dog is home but pretty woozy and generally out of it really. Cone on head. Short lead walks only for 7-10 days (which will be a nightmare as he loves his runs) and going back for a post-op check up next week. Stitches are dissolveable but need to keep an eye on the wound and keep the cone on if he's likely to scratch it, which DP said he thought he did earlier as it was bleeding a little.

Weekend DP is off having fun in London is sorted. I'm off to my class share teacher's house on the Sunday to nail all our school reports. Rock. And. Roll. Now I'm not so hideously hormonal I don't care so much. I'm quite careful with money and train tickets down to London plus a weekend spending money on food & alcohol, plus the concert tickets themselves would actually add up to far more cash than I have available or would want to spend anyway.

Got home from work at 6.30 and spent over an hour making lasagne. It was lovely, but the time taken to make it reminded me why I haven't bothered in ages..... Spent the rest of the night marking numeracy QCA tests and putting the data on a spreadsheet. Which tomorrow I will need to transfer to another assessment tracker in school. And then I need to do the analysis. Roll on half term!! Grin

Scone - CD7 & CD9 would be within the 5 day swimmer survival window if Ov was CD11, but if you're just going on opk not temps then as foody says, the opk gives you warning it's coming rather than tells you it's happened.

I found my cycles made more and more sense the more I had temped. You start to notice patterns over time. The opks just reinforced what my temps were telling me.

yorkiebilb · 14/05/2013 21:40

Thanks sid I'll try and be patient.

scone I've ovulated two days earlier before but I've also had a false positive before on a cb opk so check your temp tomorrow morning and carry on testing if need be. Oh and dtd!

happylass · 14/05/2013 21:39

Aw Frog sorry you've had such a rubbish experience at such an exciting but worrying time for you. 10 mins seems a bit harsh. My GP was running over half an hour late today but didn't bat an eyelid that I'd been sat in the waiting room soaking wet for 40 mins grr!!
Scone sounds like you've been getting lots of well timed DTD action in. I would keep at it until you see an temp rise and then for a few days after too!

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 21:31

Thanks for the info Foody. It was a stressful experience I could well have done without & I can't believe that the dr wouldn't wait 10min for me.

Foodylicious · 14/05/2013 21:24

scone pos opk means ov in next 12-36hrs so you shouldnt have missed it! sure in was in the 3 days after pos opk that we caught on too, have fun if you can!
and frog what a nightmare! just so everyone knows does not matter where you move to you are registered at one place until you register yourself somewhere else. when i had an abnormal smear a few years ago and had treatment i had just moved, but wanted to be under the care of people i knew( had been at the surgery for 10 yrs). the receptionists can geta bit funny, but they cannot stop you from having an appt, and my dr actualy told me to just keep coming there until i was happy to move. was a bit of nightmare as you have to give your new address for letters/appts., just incase you were interested!

Frogcatcher · 14/05/2013 21:13

Scone you might catch it tonight so DTD tonight & tmrw if you can. I got a positive on the OPK & then DTD that night & that was the one that did it! Alternatively swimmers stick around a while so CD9 may have been good enough too.

sconeoclock · 14/05/2013 21:12

Hugs frog sounds like my old Drs in Sussex, incompetent nincompoops!!

Hopefully midwife will be better than receptionist
