Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

Also someone posted that after years of trying they tried this!!
(brace yourself):

  1. got DH to jizz in a mooncup
  2. added egg white (actual egg white)
  3. microwaved it on a low heat
  4. inserted it while sat on the loo
  5. masturbated so her cervix would drop down and 'pick it all up' Shock Put her BFP down to this -definatley the stragest thing I ever heard
Foodylicious · 05/05/2013 12:37

Hi Guys, hope you dont mind but I have been reading on here in bits and pieces, felt strange not to come on your page anymore when I wanted to see how you were all going.
Frog massive congrats- can come have a look here if you like -www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1721178-Pregnant-IVF-Worriers, for those whose journey has not been easy. I was realy lost for bit and they have helped.
last couple of weeks have beena right mix of poorlyness, panicing and even a really bad feint yesterday while I was out. but still ok I think. Should be amazingly happy and greatful but am just a nervous wreck alot of the time.
You have all been up to soo much since I was last on here I wont really comment, but just to say thanks for all your support Flowers

Frogcatcher · 05/05/2013 11:26

charming it's like FB makes people lose all sensitivity. I once posted a pic of me with my friends baby & someone commented 'suits you' underneath. I wasn't TTC at the time but was single & thinking I was never going to meet anyone with whom id ever have babies so it still had the same effect as if I had been.

Frogcatcher · 05/05/2013 11:24

Oh so sorry puppy I have been desperately willing another berry to share the good luck this cycle. Who's next to pimp?

MrsB00Mbastic · 05/05/2013 10:21

Sorry she got you puppy. At least June is creeping a bit closer. When's your appt? Mine is 21st..

PuppyMummy · 05/05/2013 09:16

cd1 again here as predicted!
2 days early in a stupidly short 22 day cycle! one more go til our next fertility appointment in June.

Tallyra · 05/05/2013 08:42

aaaaaah! dog not fog.

Tallyra · 05/05/2013 08:41

and good morning everyone. enjoyi.g the sun eating breakfast before whirlwind cleaning for lunch BBQ. fog is unconscious in the sun Grin

Tallyra · 05/05/2013 08:40

just another thing to add to the list of things I can afford kitty Sad I'd love to get it sorted!

MrsB00Mbastic · 05/05/2013 08:05

Happy Sunday berries! I'm lying in bed hoping the croissant fairy AKA DH is going to arrive bearing decaf coffee and pastries... Probably won't happen but you never know.

kitty excellent, loyal pet you have there! I'd like to offer my dog's bum-to-carpet scooting services to perfectly complement the vom!

sid can understand your frustration. I don't know if I could be a big enough person to be a SM, can only imagine how much harder it must make everything ttc-related. Your DH is a dingus to not think these things through, hugs x

Thunder I do love a good cry! Although can't watch weepies mid-afternoon or I look like I've been lunched in both eye for the rest of the day!

BlindKitty · 05/05/2013 01:37

Oh and goosey, my cat says she's free to go and vom on your friends carpet anytime Wink

In fact, anyone that' upsets us from now on gets the cat vom!!!! Smile

BlindKitty · 05/05/2013 01:32

tally have you tried laser therapy? I had erm another bodily area done and its fab. Need another go as there are some hairs there now but no where near as much as before. X

Sending hugs to Syd. Tbf you must b a special person to cope with a sc the rest of the time. It's not surprising that it winds you up every now and again! X

Tallyra · 05/05/2013 00:20

boom I am so amazed at your ability to just deactivate your fb account, amazing!!
frog I believe that animal attentiveness can be a big sign of pg, so I'm even more certain the ICS are not lying. sounds very good Grin Grin
As for witchy hair, I don't have pcos but I have been tweezing hair from my chin and cheeks since I was a teen. Probably half the reason it's so bad now is that I started doing it so early but I can't stop now, it would look SO bad if I did!

Bunnygirlie · 04/05/2013 23:07

just a little jealous honest! Not as jealous as I was if the lemurs today though lol

CharmingCats · 04/05/2013 22:18

I love a good cry. Have been feeling overdue for one.
sid totally understand your anger. Has he tried to explain or apologise yet? So sorry about this new dimension to your situation.

Caved and looked on fb. Greeted by three new borns. All ones I was aware of, though. Two are from the same circle and there are pics of another childless friend with both babies and someone has posted 'when are you having one?'. Dear god! Logged off.

Thundercatsarego · 04/05/2013 20:51

Oh sid, that is shit. I can really understand why you feel frustrated, well as much as possible without having that situation myself. Useless man, if be livid.

Tbh I've not had any symptoms with the thyroid problem, so it's just numbers to me.

Does anyone else here relish a good cry occasionally? DH is out and so I'm watching weepies and it's so cathartic letting it all out for once!

Frogcatcher · 04/05/2013 20:09

Sid being a SM is so hard & only other SMs really ever get it. I'm lucky that we only have SS for half of the weekend & half the week but he's still the source of many of our arguments. It's noticeable on my charts that we don't DTD as much when he's around & it's nothing to do with bedtime or noise or anything like that just friction. I totally feel your pain that you feel that his current family is sabotaging your chances of your future one & it causes you to doubt his commitment to another child.

SidneyBristow · 04/05/2013 19:32

charming and goose he had told me that the schedule revamp was ongoing, so I gave him the dates of ov weekend and asked him to make sure it wasn't traded away. He didn't bother to mention that he already had. What pisses me off is that he swore he'd take charge of this cycle, and the first thing he does is not bother to even ask when the 'good' dates were, much less bother to tell me that he'd already traded that weekend away, after I specifically told him the dates. So the fallout is that I'll be on SM duty rather than try to be in relaxed mode for shag week, and why? So that his ex wife can go on holiday. He gets credit for being flexible, and I get my peaceful shag weekend taken away. It is shit.

Thunder you must be feeling so much better physically since they got your TSH levels down, right? Progress! Thanks for letting me know that .75 is alright. My GP isn't that helpful.

Merkin I wish I could help, but I can't; I've never got that great at reading ICs. Last month's lines were fainter than the previous, not sure why.

Goose I think your friend is being really childish. When someone gently tells you you've hurt their feelings, the right response is never to lash out at them. Is staying away from her for a while an option?

Frogcatcher · 04/05/2013 18:59

Oh & feel free to sausage wang at me when I get ungrateful for moaning about maternity pay policies when you would all happily work for free if it meant you were on maternity

Frogcatcher · 04/05/2013 18:56

LOL at Kitty's kitty - they really are a good judge of character animals!

Oh & mine will not leave me alone at the moment if anyone wants to make that a symptom to spot - my girl cat was sitting on my lap yesterday & kneading my stomach & chest to bits which she doesn't normally do I'm sure.

Frogcatcher · 04/05/2013 18:53

I'm here merkin. I've not run off to the grads just yet as am still not convinced it will stick around. I got a line again this morning but it was more faint that yesterday evening's so go figure that one - Dr Google says not to worry about it.

Commiserations to all with insensitive friends & thanks for the advice on how to break the news to people who might be TTC. I'll go with the text when we get there & see how we get on. Thing is I don't know if she even is TTC so don't want her to feel like she should be if they've just decided for whatever reason not to start yet or not have kids!

Boom v weirdly this cycle I actually haven't had as many symptoms as when I usually convince myself in the 2ww. I don't have sore boobs that everyone always says was their first sign but don't really get them for AF either. I have had a lot of backache & twinges in my lower belly which are a bit like Ov pains. I had a bizarre grease explosion on my hair on about 6DPO which I think I also got the possible cp month & might be linked to a hormone surge I suppose. I also got a couple of spots on my chin & a humungous one on my back. If this is going to be a return to my spotty days that I only grew out of a couple of years ago I am not going to be happy! I also ate some garlic mash the day before the BFP which tasted really really strong to me but DP said it wasn't.

Talking about bad timing for all you teachers I've just re-read my work maternity policy & I have screwed up financially. Our maternity pay is based on your salary over an average of 8wks leading up to the date 15wks before due date. I will (hopefully) get a small pay rise effective 1 Sept which is - yes, you've guessed it, almost exactly 15 wks prior to FF's predicted due date. Basically I will be getting it linked to my current salary & not the one I'll be on when I leave work so will be getting a pay cut again when I go on maternity leave!

Thundercatsarego · 04/05/2013 18:18

Evening all.

boom I am SO impressed! Deactivating your whole account...amazing.

merk yeah got some more results on Thurs, in six weeks on the meds I've dropped from 15 to 4. So I'm now within NHS 'normal' range but we've agreed that I'm aiming for below 2 so I've just upped the meds a wee bit.

I got my opk smiley yesterday and dtd this morning and weds, will go for tonight too to try to cover all bases.

Well done kitty's kitty!

BlindKitty · 04/05/2013 17:33

Boom HIDE her activity!!! Xxx

BlindKitty · 04/05/2013 17:28

Goosey neither of my 2 pg friends know that they've upset me, I'm just bottling it all up and one day I'll explode! One (who i love to bits) thinks ive stopped using FB (I've just hidden her activity so I don't respond to her posts anymore. Although my cat vommed on her carpet today (I'm on hol) so I kinda feel like that's payback for incessantly posting pictures of her bump (good kitty) Smile

Bunnygirlie · 04/05/2013 16:21

Thunder - doh me, I didn't get what you meant! I guess reflex lady can just feel something!

Cats- I have not tried acu but love my reflex, my lady is so nice and has treated so many TTC ladies, very relaxing and it's really helped my cycles to regulate.

Berries, had a green eyed monster moment on par with moon and sheep jealousy, been to safari park today and very very jealous of the lemur with twin babies!!!!! It's getting crazy now!
