Newbies very welcome provided they meet the strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

today tomorrow

Thundercatsarego · 13/04/2013 12:49

Yeah thanks. Am just impatient. So when are you doing hpt?

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 12:47

It's a good big drop from 15 to 6! Sounds positive

Thundercatsarego · 13/04/2013 12:41

Between 0.5-2 is ideal for conception/pg altho standard nhs guidelines go up to 5 or 5.5 I think!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 12:38

Thunder what are you aiming for? What is a good level?

Thundercatsarego · 13/04/2013 12:35

Fx merkin!

Blood test results back- tsh dropped to 6 in four weeks, from 15.3. Apparently no med change needed right now as may still drop further so more waiting. It is good news but still frustrating as I just want to be fixed!

yorkiebilb · 13/04/2013 12:19

ooh fx merkin

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 12:13

To clarify before somebody mistakes that for a bfp, it was a positive OPK!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 12:11

Positive

yorkiebilb · 13/04/2013 12:09

and....?!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 12:03

We won't mention the fact that I ignored all sensible advice and dipped an OPK...

yorkiebilb · 13/04/2013 11:57

Desire to pimp understandable then!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 11:51

No Yorkie, don't worry appreciate your opinion and the sensible view! I was just trying to give background and justify the pimping!

yorkiebilb · 13/04/2013 11:41

Sorry merkin I'm barging in offering opinions when I don't know the full picture.

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 11:22

Yorkie last month I got a positive OPK on 7dpo and bfps from 8dpo... I am somebody who likes to know hence the temptation

yorkiebilb · 13/04/2013 11:17

merkin agree with tally 7dpo is v early to test and if you get a bfn you're only going to feel pissed off. Wait if you can.

I've just bought some b6 for next cycle as well- does anyone know if you take throughout your cycle? I've been taking epo up until ovulation and flax seed all after ovulation until AF. Any other suggestions?

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 11:15

But in a weird way is prefer to know sperm is meeting egg even if it doesn't end well... Is that totally odd? Despite it not being a good ending last month i feel reassures that at least part of the process is working
Have i persuaded you? Can I pimp now please??

Tallyra · 13/04/2013 11:09

Don't do it merkin! Just in case. you know how you felt last month? wait another week at least....Thanks

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 11:06

Shit, I found them. 3 OPKs and 3 cheapies, plus the 2 pack of digis I bought to confirm last cycle before it all went wrong. Restrain me otherwise I'm off to find my pot (this time last cycle I got my positive OPK which was just before my first bfp)...

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/04/2013 11:03

7dpo here and am desperately trying to stop myself rummaging around to find a leftover stick. I'm pretty certain I had at least 1 left but can't find it don't know where I put them
Yes I am claiming pimping as my invention and yes I deserve a sausage wanting for my smugness

cherrycoconut · 13/04/2013 10:39

Oooh cool, thanks Peanut Good luck at work.

Barling once is all it takes if it's in the window. Fingers crossed!

happylass · 13/04/2013 10:37

Tally I think a lot of people's temps drop below the cover line just before AF arrives. Mine comes down a lot more slowly though and usually doesn't go below the coverline until about cd3.

cherrycoconut · 13/04/2013 10:36

Oops, cross posted Peanut from what I can gather pork can contain retroviruses, parasite tapeworms and histamine increasing compounds. But I'm not really sure!

The sage tea is to soothe digestion and is also often used to reduce night sweats and lessen menopause symptoms.

I was thinking Paleo would be a good place to seek inspiration, will get Googling post haste thanks!

BombasticPeanut · 13/04/2013 10:24

cherry there's a soy alternative called tamari sauce, you can get gluten free version (probs through online health shops) - is a godsend if you're gluten/soy free! I'm totally intrigued by your list now...

barking hooray, progress! Hope your one time did the trick Smile. I'm officially bonkers, this morning involved about 12 supplement pills, including royal jelly and red clover. Holland and Barrett actually love me.

Right, off to work again. Pregnant ladies better stay away!

Bunnygirlie · 13/04/2013 10:18

Morning ladies!

Did anybody watch Graham Norton last night? The mighty Buble was on (swoon) and of course they were talking about his wife being pg, usually this sort of chat makes me Sad but he was so funny about it all, saying the sex was no fun when TTC! And when he sang to the audience members bumps, lush!

Perve over!!! Have a good weekend peeps!
