Newbies very welcome provided they meet the strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

Ah the jumble of numbers was me trying to use an emoticon via my phone, I didn't think it would work.

Ugh, back to school tomorrow and I will need to talk to the head about time off to move AND to go to the IVF clinic.

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 15:22

Yep horrible, so a few prayers were said in church, hope him up there is listening!

Now home alone sulking, hubby had to go out, boo!

Oh sorry it was so horrible bunny. Had a similar experience just after my mc so know how you feel. Have you got anything nice planned the rest of today to try and help distract you?

Thanks merkin found it. It does look v interesting. I think I will email them. Are you going to?

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/04/2013 14:32

Can't link on my phone but looked at imperial college research and NHS clinical trials

barkingtreefrog · 14/04/2013 14:22

Argh, sorry Bunny that sounds horrible Sad.

I saw a heavily pregnant women in Tescos the other day. The immediately thought in my head was 'bitch!' I was Shock at myself - I had no idea of her story, I was just insanely jealous!!!

Hope you've got something better to do this afternoon Smile.

I'm lesson planning. I have actually started, but am now discovering all the flaws of starting so late - I'm realising all the documents that I don't have and really need in order to do it properly, but it's too late to wait for school to open tomorrow!!

yorkiebilb · 14/04/2013 14:11

I'd be very interested in this merkin Do you have a link or can you point me in the right direction please?

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 14:11

I have just read about some fertility trials taking place in London. If this bfp doesn't stick I'm thinking it would be a great idea, you get all sorts of tests without having to wait. Has anyone else considered this?

YOUCH!

yorkiebilb · 14/04/2013 13:18

yep I have mentioned that previously to him. Just because the sperm meets the egg doesn't mean the quality is going to be any good!

Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 13:04

Oh no! how can I whack Thunder now she has toddled over all innocently? Oh wait...I have no mercy. WHACK!

Yorkie, hopefully they'll get him signed up for one then; if my DH can go from iffy SA to good SA, then I'm pretty sure it works the other way too! Also, and I'm sorry to mention this because it's not the nicest thing to say, but poor sperm quality has been linked with increased miscarriage rates; try googling it.

barkingtreefrog · 14/04/2013 12:56

blindkitty this is the article I showed DP

Boodle I'm probably going to be on CD3 when I go for my fc appointment, but I've given up trying to work out where it would be best to be as it's all futile really, I'm totally in the hands of the waiting list! Should find out on Tuesday when DP's operation is as that will put us out of action for 6 weeks anyway, which is potentially two cycles out if it falls at the most inconvenient time!! Ah well, at least that would be two cycles of knowing it's not going to happen and no symptom spotting or waiting! I'll probably still PIMP and temp though as I'll want to know whether the vitamin B6 is lengthening my LP....

yorkiebilb · 14/04/2013 12:34

Oh I forgot to say thunder well done on getting those levels down so quickly! You're one step closer so try and stay positive!

bunny hope the christening isn't too horrible for you.

yorkiebilb · 14/04/2013 12:32

Ha ha live the sausage threatening boodle! thunder listen to boodle!!!

I thought it was some kind of fertility code being offered!

No boodle he hasn't had an sa done yet. I think he thinks because we got pg so quickly before (which ended in mc) then he is absolutely fine but obv something isn't right or we would be pg by now. We've just joined a new surgery as we've moved so I'm going to make an app and hopefully get some tests booked. We did have to fill in a drinking questionnaire when we joined and he has already had a letter from them expressing concern about his drinking which he immediately scoffed at and binned!

Thundercatsarego · 14/04/2013 12:21

Oh hi boodle, yeah, what's up?

Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 12:12

Bunny, I hope you survive the christening. Sad Not a nice day for you. I dodged a baby's birthday party this weekend. Don't think I'd have coped well. Referring back to last night, the G isn't as impressive as it sounds! I've got a teeny tiny back (28) and a big fat arse so really, my boobs are only the same size as someone who is a 36D/36DD or something like that.

Merks, you are a crazy lady for PIMPing (PIYPing?) so early, but I really hope that this one sticks. I'm jealous that you get to PIMP with a proper pregnancy test - I have still never used one; even by 8DPO I'm always well into the spotting that precedes AF.

Will be glad to see AF early this month though, because as soon as she arrives I can ring up to book my HSG. Who'd have thought I'd be looking forward to getting dye squirted up my yoni, eh?!

Kitty, does your friend know your TTC too? That must be quite nice (in a weird way) to have a real-life pal going through the same shit. I think I have a friend going through it too, but we don't see each other that often and we've never explicitly spoken about it. Also, may your DH suffer the hangover from hell for leaving you with a toilet bowl surprise!

Yorkie, sorry to hear about your concerns with your DH and his drinking; a very tough one when dealing with bereavement too. My DH had a slightly iffy first semen analysis, and that shocked him a bit. He cut back on alcohol and took his vitamins. Second SA was normal. Has your DH had SA?

Thunder - step away from OBEM and just come over here a minute, would you?

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/04/2013 12:07

Lots of CM bunny or EWCM? I wouldn't worry unless its the latter in which case get shagging

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 11:54

I think that was pip with all her fingers crossed!

TMI but, I never really notice any cm but today I had quite a bit, AF due week tomorrow so it can't be ov, why now though?!?!?

Am watching obem on catch up while OH away- am I some kind of fool?! Even the opening sequence makes me cry....

Thundercatsarego · 14/04/2013 11:35

Ha! Important distinction between birth and berth there!

Hi kitty . I feel for you and others with DH drinking worries- there enough pressure on us as it is without taking on responsibility for his behaviour! Poor yorkie and your DH though, it's a bit different eh? If he is so keen to conceive though could you explain softly to him about the drinking? Difficult one.

pip is that some sort of code?

BlindKitty · 14/04/2013 11:03

Yorkie I'm giving him a wide birth today or not so to speak haha

Got my bd out of him (even though hes suffering the hangover from hell) and going to yoga and to meet my friend to cheer her up as she's down about ttc (oh the irony haha)

yorkiebilb · 14/04/2013 10:55

blind Ewwww! How generous of your DH to leave that for you. I hope you told him and he now has to do nice things for you the rest of the day!
